Chapter 68

Alina's POV
I started living my days with new enthusiasm at school. I'll also be enthusiastic again this afternoon when Cheerleaders practice arrives. Moreover, international tournaments will start in the next two weeks. So I must not waste the opportunity and must be able to make the most of it.
"Alina, you're finally back to training." Jessica said showing an expression that was happy to see my arrival.
I can only smile.
"Where have you been, Alina?" Emily asked while holding my hand.
But in the corner there I saw Jenny and her gang still not happy to see me. I bowed. But this afternoon practice went smoothly. Even though I made a mistake, no more bullying hit me. Today's workout wasn't that special but at least it didn't make me feel cornered like the previous workouts.
The days continued to change until finally joint training with the student hockey club would be held this afternoon. I walked towards the field and felt my heart pounding even more. I'll be meeting with Mark and Ryan at some point.
Finally I arrived at the field and my friends immediately approached me. Coincidentally, no students have come here yet. But suddenly I saw from the other end they were walking towards the field.
I was really made nervous by their arrival. But I saw something new from them. It turns out that Endy did not join Hockey Mark's team. At first I wasn't too sharp to see who had just joined their hockey team. But I started to realize it when it was close.
"Huh, he..." I whispered.
"You know him?" Emily whispered to me.
"New player huh?" Jessica asked quietly.
"Come on, come on, quickly warm up and set up your formation as usual!"
Our rumors were shattered because coach Miller will start training this afternoon. After they arrived in front of us, Coach Miller suddenly instructed us to immediately warm up. So there's no time for conversation. We immediately followed Coach Miller's instructions.
Training continued as usual when the warm-up was carried out.
All my girl friends shouted encouragement at Mark and Ryan. I don't know why it suddenly makes me feel very hot. Especially when the girls shouted Ryan's name. It seems I already have feelings for Ryan.
"What's wrong with you, Alina? Why are you silent?" While doing cheers, Emily whispered to me.
"Um, no."
"Are you unwell? Go to the side first if you're still not fit. Worried you'll fall." Jessica whispered and chimed in.
"No! No! I just.. oh never mind."
"Ryan Ryan Ryan... Go go go... Come on, Ryan, cheer up!" Jenny shouted.
I turned to Jenny.
"Alina?" Emily looked at me while smiling idly.
I felt embarrassed and started to focus again on my cheering movements.
Training has finished, there is only one more time left tomorrow for joint training with the student Hockey team.
Coach Miller closed today's practice and went home first. Now many of the club's children are still left on the field and have not yet returned home following in the footsteps of coach Miller who had gone home earlier. As usual, we always hang out and get together after we finish training.
Suddenly Mark approached me without maintaining his image, now he was openly approaching me. He no longer feels embarrassed to his friends and club kids that he really has a special relationship with me. He led me to join his friends.
"Come on!" While guiding my hand.
"Where to?" I couldn't let go of his grip and instead followed his invitation. Even though I was a little embarrassed and hesitant, I was finally able to join Mark's friends.
I saw an unusual look in Ryan's eyes. It's like he's harboring other feelings. We can only see it from the corner of our eyes. Trying to hide the feelings hidden in the recesses of the soul.
"You?" Asked a man who had passed me several times. I didn't know his name until now.
"You?" I also pointed to him.
"Hey, you two know each other, right?" Tom asked.
"This is Alina, my girlfriend." Mark said without hesitation introducing me in front of his friends.
Everyone suddenly looked shocked. Likewise, my Cheerleaders friends were surprised to hear that.
"Huh, Alina is dating Mark? Since when?" There was a rumor from one of Jenny's friends.
Jenny put on a look that was unpleasant to look at.
I also saw disappointment on Ryan's face. In fact, I feel guilty and uncomfortable now. After Mark introduced me as his girlfriend in front of many people, I didn't feel okay at this moment.
"Alina, this is our new friend, Rei Wanatabe." Mark introduced the man whose name I had been wondering about recently.
"Rei Wanatabe?"
"Yes Rei Wanatabe." Rei explained.
I felt the name was familiar and unfamiliar to hear. I seemed to have heard his name mentioned. But I forget when and who said his name. Suddenly we were surprised by the presence of someone approaching us.
"Jeremy?" I said.
"Hey Alina." he replied.
"Hey, you guys know each other too?" Rei asked.
"Yes I..." Interrupted.
"Yes we do." Jeremy smiled.
"Good then." Rei said.
"Look at Alina, she knows Rei, she knows Jeremy, it looks like they've been hanging out." One of Jenny's friends whispered.
"Yeah, Alina isn't close to Ryan either, right?" Jenny's other friend chimed in.
"She's also Mark's girlfriend? Erm..." Jenny's other friend also frowned.
"Hmm... that means Alina hooked up four men at the same time in different places. Indeed, Alina is a rotten woman." Jenny babbled in a spiteful tone.
"Hey, shut up!" Ryan suddenly shouted at Jenny and her friends while pointing his index finger at them.
Everyone present at the edge of the field widened their eyes at Ryan's sudden anger.
I saw Mark also have a red face and clench his fists.
Suddenly Ryan began to realize his spontaneous attitude. He lowered his hand again and felt nervous. Meanwhile, Mark was getting redder and suddenly he put his tail out of his butt and suddenly his face became hairy. Making everyone suddenly scared and scattering. I just stared in silence watching Mark turn into a werewolf. It was really beyond my expectations that Mark was not an ordinary human being. His friends were just silent and shocked by Mark's changes.
I immediately turned to Ryan. Until the two of us made eye contact. I started thinking bad about Ryan. Maybe Ryan and his other friends are also werewolves. I headed straight in that direction. Feeling unable to believe the reality of what happened. After seeing Mark change directly before my eyes I was in shock.
