Chapter 28

Alina's POV
I feel like I can no longer endure all this pain. So that there is no shame in crying in front of someone I just met this second, even though. I felt thirsty for validation and hoped that someone would care about my existence.
"Here, lean back! I know you need support." He patted his shoulder and dragged me by the shoulder to rest my head on his shoulder.
I don't know why I just want to do this. I felt weak and really very weak.
"Cry! And you can tell me all your complaints after I stop crying. I will hear it, listen with open ears."
He said calming me down.
I was getting worse and crying and sobbing but it still wouldn't stop.
"Yes, go on, just let out your bad stuff! This is good, get rid of the toxins in you! Don't store them!" He even told me to cry and not stop before I was full until I felt relieved in my chest.
I still feel sobbed and almost run out of tears. There are only dry lips because air goes in and out through the mouth due to blocked nostrils from crying too much.
"Already?" He asked while rubbing my shoulder.
I nodded and still couldn't speak because my breathing was still not regular.
"Calm yourself, regulate your breath and let everything stabilize again!" he said.
I started to regulate my breathing slowly and it got better over a long time.
"Can you tell the story now?"
I took a deep breath and started to speak.
"I was just humiliated in class."
"Why? How is that possible?"
"It's a very long story, but the point is that as a result of all that happened, I was threatened with not being promoted to class."
He seems concerned about you but still keeps his spirits up by flashing a encouraging smile.
"You will definitely advance in class." Just a positive toxic sentence in my opinion.
"How is that possible?"
"Let's see later."
There was silence, then he asked me again.
"Now what do you want to do here?"
"I'm just looking for peace and away from the noise."
"Do you want to see a beautiful place?" Ask ask.
I looked at him when my gaze had been flat looking forward in hope that was almost extinct.
"I have a beautiful place for you to stop by." He said excitedly.
"Where?"
"Do you want to come with me?"
"Can."
Innocently I just wanted to do it. Even though we had just met and I didn't even know where someone who said he was a werewolf would take me.
"Come up!" Invite him.
He bent down in front of me, inviting me to climb on his back, he would carry me.
I hesitated, turning my head left and right, confused about what to do. But I immediately climbed onto his back and he supported my body with both hands. Then suddenly he turned into a wolf like before. I was suddenly shocked and scared but I tried to believe it even though I was actually a bit suspicious. But I, who still feel uncertain, really want to feel a different sensation that I have never tried before.
"Tight grip!" He told me to.
I put my arms around his neck and hoped he would be okay. Suddenly he ran at high speed then jumped to the top of the fort and jumped back down until he reached the ground. I didn't have time to look left and right around us. Because this werewolf's movements were quite fast, like lightning, I didn't even know where I was being taken because I couldn't recognize the road. After landing, he immediately took me running again at a speed that could not be measured per kilometer. I didn't have time to ask about anything. Because the wind swept towards my face. The speed was so high that I would be swept away by the wind but my grip was very strong. Likewise, he also supported my body very strongly too. So even though he was moving fast, I still didn't fall and was still clinging to his back, being carried by him.
He began to slow down his steps and then stopped in front of a lake with a very beautiful view. On the edge of the lake there are several shady trees under which are decorated with colorful live flowers. The lake is decorated with fish with different shapes, shapes and colors and sizes which are very clearly visible because the water is still pure and clear. He invited me to sit by the lake under a shady tree. I started to land and got out of his arms.
"Come down! We're here."
"Good."
I got down and started positioning myself next to Jerome facing the lake.
"I don't believe it." I said while covering my mouth with both hands.
"It's really beautiful, isn't it?"
"Yes, of course, it's beautiful. But how do you know this place?"
"Since I was little I lived not far from here, in the forest." While pointing.
Oh, it turns out this location is on the outskirts of the forest. I don't know where this is and the distance from the original place is far or near. But I felt safe around Jerome, who was said to be a werewolf. Rather than having to be with humans surrounded by nosy mouths and hands. I'd rather be with a wolf. It turns out wolves are better than humans. In fact, humans are more ferocious than wolves.
"Do you like it?"
"Yeah I like it."
"Good, umm... Is there anything else you want to tell me?"
I started to open up to Jerome and started telling him all the ins and outs of my life since I realized I was born on earth until now. Everything is very coherent according to my memory. In fact, I only tell about bitter life experiences. Therefore, in fact, life is more bitter than sweet. I am very direct in telling stories and until Jero is just a loyal listener. Occasionally he responds by expressing his opinion.
"Oh I see, but you don't need to worry Alina! From now on I will always be there for you. If you need me to roar, then I will come not long after you start roaring."
"Roar?"
"Yeah roar."
"Roar like a wolf?"
"Yeah I see."
I felt strange about the statements and instructions taught by Jero. It feels very strange. Will he come out and come over to me when I roar? Ah never mind, let this just pass. Not that important right now. Because now he is beside me accompanying me who has lost a lot of time for the next lesson in class. I even forgot about school. As if school was the scariest thing that made me not want to remember the atmosphere at school. It seems like I was almost traumatized about going back to school and even confused about what to do next.
