Chapter 35
Ryan's POV
After Dylan walked towards Jake and left Rei's position. We immediately followed in Dylan's footsteps and approached Jake who was lying weakly on the bed. Suddenly something bad happens to Jake. Instantly Jake experienced a seizure with his eyes still closed and then widened as if he was in deep pain.
"Jake!" I shouted.
"Jake what happened to you?" Dylan said.
"Call a doctor!" Mark said.
"Yeah, let me do it." Rei is ready.
"I am coming along." Tom said following Rei who ran outside to call the doctor.
"Be patient, Jake! The doctor will be here soon."
"You'll be fine Jake."
"Wait, Jake, a moment later the doctor will come to check your condition and treat you."
Everyone who was still in this room supported Jake. Even though in reality it had no effect because Jake was in a bad condition. So it's a little impossible for Jake to hear our voices in his current state.
"That fool took so long to call a doctor." Dylan started to get emotional again.
"Don't get emotional yet Dylan, we are in a critical situation. Poor Jake if you keep getting angry." Mark advised gently.
I didn't dare say a word because I had just forgiven Dylan. I don't want to invite bad things to happen between us again. Because in fact Dylan is more obedient to Mark while I'm not like that. So it's better for me to keep quiet and keep quiet. Instead of having to make things worse and add to the problem if I had to speak up to argue with Dylan who really doesn't know the situation.
Suddenly Rei and Tom came with expressions that were very tired from running around to bring the doctor to this room. His breath was still labored. But their efforts were in vain. The doctor didn't come here with them to check Jake's condition.
Bang.
The door was wide open before it could be closed.
"Where's the doctor?" I asked increasingly panicked. Moreover, Jake started to have severe epilepsy and stuck out his tongue repeatedly and his eyes bulged scary.
"Hah heh hoh." Only the sound of their breathing could be heard. None of them, between Rei and Tom, answered a single one.
"Lets answer!" Dylan said in a very annoyed tone.
"Let them stabilize their breathing first." Mark said wisely.
There was silence and the only sound was the sound of breathing which was still panting and not yet stable. But suddenly Rei spoke, even though his voice was broken because his breathing wasn't really stable either.
"The doctor who treated Jake is on duty outside at another hospital." Jake answered.
"Then how about this?" Dylan was increasingly panicking.
"What about Jake's fate?" I was equally panicked.
"Aren't there any other doctors?" Mark asked hopefully.
"Let us follow up again and try asking the picket section." Tom said without breaking down even though he looked tired.
Tom and Rei immediately ran outside again and looked for information regarding other doctors who might be an alternative for treating Jake. Because if it's not handled quickly then Jake could... Ah never mind. I can't imagine anything that bad would happen. It's too hard to imagine something like that happening in the reality of our lives.
Rei and Tom returned to this room without taking long.
"Where?" I asked.
"You guys aren't really looking, are you?" Dylan is suspicious of Rei and Tom.
"We're looking for it." Tom said "Even to the end there." he continued.
"Lies! Where's the proof?" Dylan denies Tom's statement and confession.
"That's it! That's it! Don't make a fuss! This is not the time for us to make a fuss about something like this. Where's the doctor?" Mark said sanely.
"There's only one doctor on duty tonight." Rei said starting to explain to us here.
"So?" I asked curious about the next explanation.
"But the doctor wasn't ready to come here."
"Why?" Mark asked.
"He said it wasn't his pack. He only worked according to procedures and according to a written schedule. He couldn't treat Jake here, especially as he said the doctor was a specialist who only handled broken bones. Meanwhile, Jake didn't have any broken bones."
We are also unable to comment anything. Meanwhile, Jake's condition was still like before. Finally I had an idea to channel the positive energy from our bodies towards Jake. Uniting forces might make Jake feel better or even stop his epilepsy.
"What if we combine our strengths to give positive energy to Jake? We combine our energy and channel it to Jake's body? Maybe this method is effective and can help relieve the pain in Jake's body." My suggestion.
"Okay."
Everyone here immediately accepted my suggestion without exception and without anyone rejecting or arguing or protesting. Immediately we joined forces to help Jake.
"Everyone huddle!" I said.
"Ready?" Mark said.
"Start." Rei said.
The synergistic sound of energy forms a dazzling and colored light like an electric current that has strong potential and current. Our energy that we had united began to flow into Jake's body.
"Come again!"
Starting again
"Once again!"
Up to three times we combined the energy to release the energy from our bodies and channeled it to Jake who was still convulsing. Until finally the seizures stopped suddenly. Then Jake immediately looked like he was weak. We were actually shocked after channeling energy to Jake and found that suddenly Jake's condition looked weak. But suddenly he heard snoring.
I widened my eyes and saw Jake with a strange expression.
"Jake? What's wrong with Jake?" Tom said, a look of seriousness appeared on his face after seeing Jake's latest condition.
"Look at Ryan for this crazy idea of yours." Dylan beats him again and again and is very toxic.
"Hey that's enough!" Mark said to intervene.
"Let's see what happens after this!" Rei said.
"Hey, shut up! Nobody asked you to make a sound." Dylan said very curtly to Rei.
Rei immediately shut up and no one else dared to chime in and respond to Dylan's words which were starting to take a bad turn. Everyone was quiet and more focused on watching Jake.
"Hey, look at his hand moving." Tom said while watching Jake's fingers which seemed to be moving.
We immediately turned to look at Jake's hand. It's true what Tom said. Finally we started to feel relieved after finding his finger moving. This indicates that Jake is still alive and is just waiting for him to wake up. Instantly we heard snoring sounds coming out of Jake's nostrils and mouth.
"Hey, he's snoring." Rei said.
"Geez."
"Correct."
"It means he's starting to be fine."
"Yes, I hope so too."
We're starting to feel a bit calmer now.
