Chapter 46
Ryan's POV
I won't tell you what I saw this time. That I had seen Alina on the bench with blood on her clothes. If I tell you about my vision then there will be no doubt that I will feel uneasy and I will look restless and nervous later. So it's better for me to just stay silent without saying a word. Maybe it wasn't the Alina I just saw. However, if Alina is true, I will try to make sure I ask at the registration counter at this hospital. Maybe it's really Alina, so I'll find out the location and location of her room. Then I will visit her in the room she is in when conditions allow me to meet her.
Now I can only follow the path led by my friends. I will first accompany them to the canteen and continue ordering food and then eat it first because I am also hungry and need stamina for today to be fit. After finishing eating, I will excuse myself to go to the toilet. So that they also don't become suspicious of my behavior. I made sure everything was safe and I let them go to the ICU first. Then I will start approaching the registration counter to make sure that my vision was true and not just a hallucination.
We were still walking towards the canteen and when we arrived at the hospital canteen we immediately ordered the food available on the menu here.
While waiting for the order we had seen to arrive, we started to open up a conversation about things that Dylan didn't know about. As long as Dylan isn't here. So we have more freedom to tell stories, especially those related to Rei. Because if Dylan is around, his tension will rise if he hears things related to Rei. I think that Dylan is a bit sentimental towards Rei for some reason. Maybe he didn't like strangers entering our group. But I think Rei is a good figure. It seems like my other friends also share the same opinion as me except for Dylan, who seems to have hatred embedded in him towards the figure of Rei Wanatabe.
"Is it possible that Jordan will get here?" Tom asked innocently.
"Tom, be careful, don't let Dylan let it slip that Jordan is chasing us because of his affair with Rei. You have to keep your mouth shut about that!" Mark said.
I added, "Yes, that's right, you have to be able to watch your words. If you reveal even a little of what really happened to Dylan, then you've created chaos and will light a fire between Dylan and Rei. Even we will be affected."
"Yes, I hope so too, I ask you not to make a sound about this, Tom!" Rei asked pitifully.
"Okay, but I want this lunch to be a free lunch and I can order whatever I want. How do you agree?" Tom asked without the slightest shame.
We immediately looked at each other. Finally he agreed to his arbitrary request.
"What can I do, fine." Mark said.
"You always do that." I said.
Rei agreed and even took responsibility for all of this.
"Okay, I'll take care of everything. You're free to eat as much as you like Tom."
"Hahahaha then I can keep my mouth shut easily. OK, thank you, waiter!" He immediately called the canteen waiter and ordered another menu with large portions and a variety of foods that he ordered.
We were shocked by Tom's behavior. Until he shook his head because he couldn't understand it and was actually half annoyed. But that's how Tom is, he likes free things and often takes advantage of circumstances and conditions to get whatever he wants, whether goods or food. It's really annoying, but even so, Tom also has a lot of good sides, even though this time he's really annoying.
The order came and the dishes were served on the table we were using to gather. One by one, they received their share of the food they had ordered. We started eating our food with gusto because each of us was feeling almost unbearably hungry. Meanwhile, while eating, we were still chatting so that the atmosphere wasn't too dull.
"Oh yeah, how is Jake doing? What did the doctor say? Mark, does Jake still need a blood donor?" I asked again, curious about Jake's condition when I wasn't there.
"Emmm... Jake wasn't feeling well, that's why he was immediately taken and transferred to the ICU. Yes, the doctor said he needed a blood donor as soon as possible because his blood volume was low because a lot of blood was coming out. The doctor said Jake had to get a blood donor, didn't he? in less than two or three days. If it's too late then he could lose his life." Mark answered with a languid expression.
"Then have you checked your blood in the laboratory, maybe it's suitable for donating to Jake, how about it?"
"This morning Dylan, Tom and I did that, Ryan. Right Tom?"
"That's true, Mark, Dylan and I have checked with the laboratory but the results are nil. None of us are suitable to donate blood to Jake." Tom explained.
"Then what? What's the doctor's solution?"
"Yes, the doctor said to wait for someone ready to donate blood within two to three days. Or maybe there will be stock later at the hospital after the Red Cross activity tomorrow. Hopefully there will be something suitable and suitable for Jake." Mark explained.
"Wait! But..." Rei started to speak.
"But what?" I asked curiously.
"But Jake is a werewolf."
"Yeah right, what's the problem?"
"Is it true that human blood can enter wolf blood? Of course it can't, right?"
"Yeah, yeah." I said.
"Damn! That means Jake is in danger and his life is threatened." Tom said.
"Then what should we do now?" Mark asked looking for a solution.
"Should we look for another wolf whose blood matches Jake's? Of course that's a thing, isn't it?"
"Yes, of course, it doesn't actually have to be wolf blood." Rei's words made us all curious.
"It means?"
"Yes, I mean that there are also humans who can donate blood to Jake.",
"Is that true? You said earlier that wolf blood cannot combine with human blood? How are you, Rei, so fickle, I'm so confused, I don't understand and I can't understand you."
"Wait a minute! I haven't finished talking yet."
"Yes, continue!" Mark said.
Rei stopped for a moment and looked at our faces one by one.
