Chapter 52
Ryan's POV
My mind is really confused right now. For a moment I thought about Jake, I thought about Alina for a moment, not to mention thinking about the cold attitude of my friends up to this moment, then the problem with Jordan which was not over and there was no clarity and about the upcoming tournament which was running out in a short time. I really felt like my head was full and almost bursting.
Suddenly the nurse came with news. My friends and I immediately welcomed his arrival to ensure that we would get good news now. It's true that the nurse brought good news which made our hearts a little relieved and quite calm. We are really enthusiastic about the arrival of this nurse. Until at the end of the answer we began to feel surprised and speechless.
"How's it?" I asked hastily.
"Yes, is there any good news regarding our friend Jake's condition?" Rei continued.
"Say, come on!" Dylan was half-forced while shaking the arms of the nurse in front of us.
"Wait, sir! Wait a moment! I will explain, but I ask you, gentlemen, to calm down and give me time to speak and explain everything in a coherent and detailed manner so that you don't miss anything. So that you don't feel wrong by explaining me and immediately understood what I meant."
"Yes, Okay, please continue!" Mark's response gave me peace of mind.
"So it's like this, an hour ago there was someone who volunteered to donate blood to Mr. Jake."
"Who's that? Who's that woman?" Dylan couldn't wait to get an answer immediately.
"Susst! Don't cut it yet! Let Susten explain until it's finished. Please continue!" Mark said while folding his arms across his chest with a focused and serious gaze directed at the face of the nurse who spoke again.
"It just so happens that the blood type is the same and is a match for Mr. Jake Gyllenhaal's blood type. After several blood types with the same type were in stock but none of them matched. But this time the blood type is the same and is a match so we can proceed to the next stage, namely blood transfusion. How are you, sir? Sir, will you allow Mr. Jake to have a transfusion immediately?"
"Yes, do it immediately!" I said full of enthusiasm and hope.
"Yes, don't wait any longer!" Rei added.
"Yes, I agree." Tom is also supportive.
"Me too." Dylan chimed in.
"Do it immediately!" Mark said he also agreed that the transfusion from Jake would be processed as soon as possible without having to wait any longer.
"Okay then, here is a file that must be signed by gentlemen, just three representatives are enough, please." While handing over a folder containing files that must be signed as approval and responsibility from the relevant parties who bear Jake's responsibility.
In the end, Mark, Rei and I signed it. Mark and I are the oldest among us. Meanwhile, Rei is ready to take responsibility for all costs for Jake's care and treatment while he is in the hospital. Because from the start Rei was capable of that. Because. Maybe he feels guilty because Jake's accident started because of the messy relationship between Rei and Jordan, which created chaos that couldn't be prevented and Jake became the target of Jordan's anger.
After completing the signing of the agreement and practice permit documents, we again asked for clarity of information regarding the person who was willing to donate blood to Jake for free. Because we feel confused and surprised why there is a match. That means that in this hospital there is someone who has cross blood between humans and wolves. But who might this person be? This clearly made us curious and we immediately asked the nurse right now.
"Sorry, bro, may we know the name of the person who donated blood to Jake?" I asked, very curious.
"Yes, say who?!" Dylan was just as curious.
While the others are waiting for an answer because the questions in their minds have been represented by my question.
"Of course you can, the person who donated blood to Mr. Jake is a young woman, around high school age or a teenager. Her name is Alina Richards."
"Huh?" I was wide-eyed.
"Alina Richards?" Mark repeated his name with a surprised expression.
"Alina is from Oakwood High School, right?" Tom asked innocently.
"Alina is a club girl who is active in being a Cheerleader?" Dylan asked trying to remember.
"Um, like the female student I meant. She met me and we crossed paths. Oh, so her name is Alina Richards." Rei nodded.
"Is she here too? Erm no, I mean is the woman named Alina Richards who donated her blood to Jake, is she being treated here and is a patient at this hospital too?" Mark asked really detailed and curious questions.
"Yes, that's right sir, Alina Richards is a patient of this hospital too. She was admitted around yesterday afternoon."
"Um... why is that?"
"It looks like a traffic accident judging by the type of injuries."
"Is she okay now or a little better?"
"I don't know about that, sir, but the last time she came to the lab to be willing to donate her blood, I saw that she still looked pale and a bit weak. But her weight and blood pressure and hemoglobin levels were sufficient and met the standards for donating blood until her blood was sucked in two. pumpkin."
"That much?" Rei gasped in surprise.
Me and other friends were equally shocked.
"Is her status still a patient of this hospital up to now?" Mark asked again and was quite serious about getting a definite and accurate answer.
"Yes sir, Alina Richards is still a patient here. The doctor who is treating her has not allowed her to go home. Moreover, she has not been visited by anyone, including her family, and no one has come to see her. So costs are still an obstacle. So the hospital staff still keeping her in the hospital."
Hearing that, I felt very sad. Likewise, the others felt both pity and surprise.
"No family yet?" Mark asked.
"Yes sir, Alina has been alone in her room for almost two days now and is always gloomy after she wakes up and wakes up because she fainted when she was taken to the hospital by the people who found her at the scene of the crime."
Hearing this became even sadder and for some reason I suddenly felt very guilty towards Alina.
"May I know what room number she is currently hospitalized in?" Mark continued to ask without allowing the others to ask even once. The nurse continued to grill him with continuous questions. Mark looked like a journalist.
