Chapter 13: He Is My Boyfriend

Naomi Jamieson POV

After asking myself all these questions, I realize I have no answers to give. Maybe if he wakes up he might be able to help with some of the answers.
I looked around to make sure there was no one watching before I locked the door behind me.
I walked to the fridge to get a glass of water to drink, I took my seat and thought of Lucas a little and how I will crush him soon, I will make sure I ruin his birthday party as well and he will regret ever inviting me to the party.
I returned to the room. I need to take a little rest now but it’s been a while since I read some books on werewolves and I missed them. Let me check online if there is any new release I can watch.
I brought out my phone to check for new release but they were all boring to me, I had to go back to reading the twins werewolves of Aiden and Ethan, truly Aiden is the bad guy, who knows if people bearing the name are usually annoying, take for instance the one sleeping on my bed now. I laughed after saying it.
I brought out the book, since it’s my favorite and I started reading from the beginning again. I can never get tired of reading this same book. The writer is really talented but sometimes I think, what if something like this truly happened? What will it look like when werewolves come into existence, vampires as well and I get to be among them, gosh I wish to be in such a supernatural world, who knows they might be good and I could have a long lasting relationship with them unlike what the humans did to me like Lucas.
I continued reading and falling in love with Aiden in the story. Despite him being the villain, I love villains but at the same time I admire the hero Ethan.

I woke up the next morning feeling so tired, why am I having dreams that feel so real this time? I saw myself opening a door for Aiden and telling him to come home if I can remember.
I stretched my body saying, “What a beautiful morning, oh come on Naomi, why do you keep sleeping on his chest? This is so embarrassing.” I wish there could be a robot that would stop me from sleeping on his chest all the time.
I checked the time, it’s already 10 am, why am I always waking up late these days? I heard a knock at the door, who could that be? Apart from Lucas, I have no one else that will want to come visit me this morning, or has he changed his mind to come back to me? Wow, I will need to act a little like I don’t want him back, I want him to beg and even go on his knees.
I rushed out of the bed to get the door open only to see someone else, what the hell is he doing in my home? I can see he is overstepping boundaries.
“Naomi, I got so worried about you, how are you feeling? These are for you.” He tried to hug me but I stepped back from him and took the box of chocolate he got me, I can’t resist that either.
“What are you doing here? I told you not to come to my place.” I yell at him.
“I could not help it, I was worried.” He tried to touch me and wanted to begin his flirting, I got so angry and shouted at him, “Don’t touch me.”
“Never in your life touch her otherwise I will kill you at once.” I was shocked to see Aiden and the way he defended me is exactly what I want in a man. I walked close to him and hugged him but I cried. I don’t know why I was crying but I am happy he is fine now.
“Why are you crying Naomi? Did I do something wrong? I overheard you guys talking and I came to stop him.” He tried to explain looking at me with those beautiful brown hazel eyes. I was expecting to see the red eyes but still, he looks good in both but sexier in red.
“Naomi, who is he? Why is a man living in your home? You told me you are sick.” Fred said out of jealousy, I knew he will be but good for him, next time he will not just walk into my home without placing a call first.
“Fred, am I your little sister that you are questioning? This is my house for heaven sake and you are not wanted here. What are you even doing here by the way? Why did you come?” I yelled again.
“Like I said, I came to check up on you as a friend, you told me you were sick.”
“Sick, you were sick?” Aiden asked and I know he might blow my cover and I don’t want Fred to feel like I used him to give an excuse.
“Thanks for your care Fred, I am getting better and this is my boyfriend, please be nice, Aiden can you please go into our bedroom, I need to talk to my friend alone.” I said, giving him signs.
“I am your boyfriend?” Aiden asked, pointing at him and I shook my head, why is he so slow witted here. I pushed him inside saying, “I will talk to you soon.”
I walked to meet Fred,”I never knew you live with your man or your man lives with you, you don’t look sick either.” He said looking so SD.
“Do you know if I am pregnant?”
“What? That can’t be.”
“I was just joking but I suspect I might be but can you stop questioning? I will resume work next Monday and I will buy you lunch to help me take the excuse.” I said to him and he looked so angry.
“Let me take you out for dinner today, what about that?”
“Fred no, I will buy you lunch on Monday, you need to leave now, my boyfriend might not be comfortable seeing a male visitor coming to see me this early morning, I hope you understand.” I said and I could see him tightening his fist, I believe after this he will stop trying to have me in his life.
I opened the door for him, giving him signs to leave, “I will call you.” He said before leaving.
“Bye.” I said before locking the door. I just called Aiden my boyfriend, damn how can I face him now, he will think I am falling for him and this is not good at all.
I took a deep breath and walked into the room to meet him, he was not there and boom he opened the door naked saying, “How do you even use this?”
“Jazz.” I covered my eyes and turned around. Why does he always appear naked to me?
“Can you stop appearing in my presence naked?”
“I can walk naked, is it not a normal thing, we werewolves don’t have shame.” He said and I knew he was a psycho,”You know what, I am not ready to start this crazy conversation, just pick up the towel on your left, cover up your nakedness and we can talk.” I said to him and he was silent for a minute, “I hope you have covered yourself, I want to turn around.” I said.
“You can turn around.” He said and I turned but my eyes landed on his chest again.
“Listen Aiden, just because I saved you doesn’t mean you own my apartment, first of all, what I will not tolerate from you is you walking naked in my home.”
“But I don’t have clothes, what will I do?”
“You are so annoying.” I groaned and then I thought about it, having a roommate like him for a short time is not bad.
“You know what? Let’s start all over again, let's keep our differences aside, I like you as a friend and don't cross boundaries with me.”
“Okay but can you please no longer use your spells on me, I will love to do things on my own.” He said and I really don’t understand what he means by that, “What spells?”
“Never mind, it's best if you don’t know, it’s good to finally have a friend.” He said and I keep wondering why they all tell me is best I don’t know but since we are starting afresh today, let me focus on him.
“So you don’t have a place of your own and you have no idea about your parents being alive or dead?” He nodded and I pitied him.
“Okay I will let you stay with me but don’t walk naked, we will get some clothes today as well, so what was your question?”
“How do I get water to bathe?”
I burst into serious laughter saying, “You are joking right, you just want to make me laugh?”
“I am not joking, this is my first time seeing this.” He said and he looked so serious.
“Okay come with me and I will teach you how to use it.” I said to him and he gave me a smile that made my heart so happy about it.
I took my time to teach him how to make use of it and he thanked me for it. I never knew he would become so humble like this but it’s all good now, since we are starting afresh.
“Now you have your bath, I will get your clothes I dried up.” I said to him taking my leave and rushed to the balcony, I was smiling as I took the clothes, I dropped it on the bed and went to the kitchen to make coffee for breakfast and I planned to have a long conversation with him today so I can know him and he can know me as well, say no more to being alone and crying over the heartbreak Lucas did to me.
I served the coffee on the dining table and knocked at the door saying, “Aiden come join me let's have coffee together.”
“Okay.” he stepped out looking so sexy and I bit my lips in a seductive manner but when I finally got myself I took a deep breath and served him coffee.
He took a sip and threw it out and I wondered why, “You don’t like it?” I asked him and he said, “It’s too bitter, I don’t like bitter things.” He said, carrying his face like a cry baby and I laughed, “I never knew you would behave like a baby, I will get you more sugar and milk to add to it to make it sweet.” I said to him with a smile and went into the kitchen to get what I told him and I made the coffee to be very sweet for him.
“How are you feeling by the way? Do you feel hurt?”
“I feel better now, I have a question, what made you come back for me that night?” he asked and I didn’t see it coming, why did I really go for him that night? What will I say?
“I saved you and that’s all that matters okay and you have work to do because looking at you I know you are broke and might have lost your memory as well.”
“What do you want me to do?”
“I want you to be my fake boyfriend and attend a birthday party with me,” I said and I don’t know if its right to say it now but I am desperate, his birthday is close and I can’t let him get away with it as well, I will show to him that I have move on even if I have to make Aiden my fake boyfriend just to solve it. I noticed his mood change and his scary red eyes were out, what is about to happen?
