Naomi Jamieson POV

Did he just yell at me in my own room? I got up from my bed heading towards the door but I stopped, Maybe he is right, I need to get enough sleep.

I returned to the bed and turned off the light to sleep.

I dreamt about Aiden and when I woke up the sunlight penetrate directly into my eyes, I had to use my hands to cover the light but when I tried to open them again, I saw Aiden looking so handsome.

“Good afternoon Naomi.”

“What are you doing in my room? How long have you been here?” I questioned him, still feeling very weak.

“I can't tell but I have been watching you sleep, you look peaceful when sleeping.”

Oh no, he watched me when I was sleeping? This is not good, he must have heard me snoring, I hate him for doing this, and now I feel so embarrassed talking with him.

“Are you okay?” He asked, looking at me with his hazel brown eyes.

“Don't ever watch me sleep,” I warned but stopped, did he just say good afternoon? He must be mistaken, I know it's just 7 am, even if I slept and woke up late, It should be 8 am.

“Why greet afternoon when it's just morning ?"

“It's 2 pm already, I guess you woke up this late because you didn't sleep early and why were you reading books about werewolves?”

“I was not feeling sleepy and also, I am a history teacher, and I love reading things like that.” I finally got off the bed stretching my bones.

“Do you believe that is real?”

“Hell no, that can't be, it's all based on stories written in the past, what about you, do you believe they are real?” I asked the same question.


“I will excuse myself so you can have your bath .” He replied acting strange before leaving my room.

What is wrong with him? Sometimes he acts good and sweet but sometimes he is annoying.

I walked to the bathroom to wash my teeth, immediately after I finished and I raised my head I saw the demon smiling at me.

I was shivering and closed my eyes, unable to scream out for help but when I opened my eyes again, I was alone, there was no one in there with me, I held my chest, I guess I was hallucinating too much.

I finished having my bath and I stepped out wearing easy clothes.

I felt hungry and rushed to get Junk sitting in his living room. I was uncomfortable with the way he was looking at me.

“Do you care ?”

“No, thanks.”

“So Aiden, have you recollected any memory of your past, like who you are, your family, lover.”

“I can't remember any of it but one thing I can boast of, is I don't have a lover.”

“I see, so do you plan to get one?”

“I only have eyes for you.” I could feel goosebumps all over my body when he said this.

“Can you be serious for once? Don't ever joke with such a thing with me, give me your phone number so I can be reaching you in case you go missing like the other time.”. I passed my phone to him but when he took it, he was looking at it strangely.

“What is this?”

Is he serious right now? Who doesn't know what a phone is?

“This is a phone, don't you have one?” I questioned him trying to control my laughter.

“No, I don't, we communicate with letters during my time and I have never seen this.”

I could not hold my laughter anymore, I fell to the ground laughing holding my stomach and he felt embarrassed.

“I am sorry I just could not hold back my laughter, tell me, how old are you?”

“I don't know but I am more than one thousand years old.”

I laughed again, “I am serious, before I was placed in a deep sleep, it was 1022 and now that I woke up, I saw 2022, I don't know how.”

I clapped for him saying, “Wow, I am sure my students at school will love you with such an impressive story you have to tell.”

“You don't believe me?” He asked.

“Let's change the topic, I need to get you a new phone but it is impossible since you don't have any identity card except I use my details.” I smiled and stood on my feet saying, “Come with me, let's get you a new phone and after which, let's go shopping.”

“If it makes you happy, sure.”

“Can you do me a favor when we go out?”

“Tell me.”

“When we are out there, if you have no idea of anything just ask me quietly and when I see Lucas is here, hug me tight and kiss me okay?” I said to him and he nodded his head.

I blushed, how can he just agree to kiss me just like that? Could it be that he likes me so much and wants to taste my lips again?

We stepped out together and I stopped a taxi that took us to the phone shop. I got a simple android phone he can easily use.

I took my time teaching him how to use his phone, then I purposely snapped my picture and placed it on the screensaver on his phone and exchanged numbers.

I added a love emoji to my name, I took a picture unaware and he was looking so handsome, I can never delete this.

I looked around and pretended that Lucas was around, “Lucas is here.”

Immediately he spun me and brought me close to him, my heart was beating very fast, and I could feel butterflies in my belly. His red eyes were out and he brought his lips closer to mine, I closed my eyes waiting for his kiss, I can't believe I am falling for him
