Alpha Aiden POV



“I don't kn....kn...know...wh....who...who.. she is, one thing for sure, she is not just a human, and I can't help you, maybe she is the one to help you, please let me go.“

“What's the use of keeping you alive when you have nothing to offer?“ I tightened my grip.

“It's not my fault,please let me go,I am not the witch that did this to you.“ She pleaded for her life and Louis also pleaded,“Please don't kill her,I believe she tried her best and she will keep looking for ways to help you get them back.“

I looked at her again and looked at my mate who was sleeping soundly.I had no other choice but to be calm and let go of the elder.

She coughed so loud holding her neck and Louis rushed to assist her.

I sat down close to my mate looking at her and I caressed her hair in the process.

I don't know who I am and why you were able to wake me up with a kiss. Why do I have one heart bound with you? Should I stop searching for the past and begin to focus on the present with you?

I said silently while looking at her and I had no answer to give to myself.

“Alpha Aiden,I have a suggestion.“ The witch said to me.

“Are you using a suggestion to get your revenge back at me because I gripped you some minutes ago?“ I had to be cautious with her and she smiled saying,“No matter what you do,I will not despise you and secondly,I don't carry out revenge on what has passed.“

“Can you just be truthful?“ I questioned again.

“Okay fine,I am doing this because of her,she has a bright light and that light is unique.“

I took a deep breath and looked at the witch,“So tell me your suggestion.“

“Thank you for giving me the opportunity,I notice you have a stronger bond with someone apart from the human but I don't know who,do you have a brother?“

“I don't think so,I might have had a friend in the past that is closer than a brother to me but I just can't remember a thing.“

“Okay,how did you encounter this human?“

“She kissed me while I was still asleep in a coffin and when I woke up,I followed her scent to get close to her.“ I explained in detail to them.

“That means she has a major role to play in your life,she is the suggestion I have for you to regain your memory.I feel the closer and deeper your love is for each other the more you might be able to transform and get back your memory.“

“I support her Alpha,I think Naomi is the key,maybe that is why she is your mate,she might not just be an ordinary human.“ Doctor Louis added and I thought about it.

They are right, everything links back to Naomi,no drunk girl will drink in a place and end up in the forest and located a hidden room where my coffin was placed.

I believe it's destiny,I guess I need to accept this new life fully and spend more time with my mate, protect her as well, maybe at the end of the day, I will find my answers.

“Okay, I will accept this new life of mine, but if you ever come up with something new that can help me, let me know immediately.“ I said to Louis and he nodded.

“I'll take my leave now.“ The witch said about to leave and I stopped her, “What about her? Won't you undo the spell?“

“Don't worry, my spell won't harm her, she will wake up in the next hour.“ The witch assured me and then took her to leave with Doctor Louis walking out with her.

Naomi, what are you for real? Can you also remember?

I waited and the doctor returned saying, “We have a problem.“

“What problem? Tell me in detail.“

“Come see for yourself.“ He said and I went with him only to see the witch was in a state of vision, her eyes turned white.

“I see doom, the blood-sucking demon is back, it's going to be bloody if they are not stopped.“

I know that vampires always come with problems, and they can never bring peace. I am going to protect Naomi from them at all costs.

I tried to assist the witch but she held my hands saying, “I see you covered in blood, this death is inevitable.“

“You are wrong, no one can kill me, are you sure of what you just saw?“ I had to ask again but she regained herself.

“What happened?“ She asked.

“You had a vision about vampires.“ Louis said not to mention others.

“It's almost time for her to wake up, I will leave now.“ I said going in to meet Naomi.

After some time she finally woke up stretching her body and yawning so loudly, flapping her lips together.

“Where am I? Why do I feel so weak? What happened to me?“

“You never change, you always ask so many questions at the same time.“ I touched her nose.

“Hey.“

“You fainted out of tiredness and I am happy you are awake now, let's get going.“ I said to her,

“What about you?“ She asked, looking so worried.

“I feel better already, all thanks to the doctor who treated me.“ I lied to her and she believes in standing on her feet.

“Where will the doctor let me thank him before leaving? I wonder what my bills will be in total.“

“You don't have to pay me, Miss Naomi, just accept my kind gestures.“

Louis came in interfering as well and I smiled.

“Why are you doing this?“ She asked.

“Because Aiden is like my family now.”
