Chapter 38: She Is Being Nice


Alpha Ethan POV

I can't believe my life as an Alpha will be controlled by a human.

”I guess you deserve this.” Gray said to me.

”So you're going to side with our mate now?”

”No I am not, but you should have given it time.” Gray said.

”I still can't be angry with her though, after today I will create a means to have a simple conversation with her.”

One of the ladies saw me and said,”Hey Mr Ethan, care to join me for lunch?”

”I would love to but I just can't leave this minute.”

”May I know why please?”

”I am asked to remain here by one of the teachers.” I didn't know how I let this out.

”You mean Miss Naomi I saw with you earlier? She actually is crossing her boundaries, why must you obey her anyway? Come with me, I am nicer than her.” She said with a wink.

”I seriously can't leave this spot right now, let's eat lunch together some other time okay?”

”I can't believe this, I don't see why someone will have to obey what Naomi says, is this a punishment or what?” She grumbled about taking her leave.

My stomach made some weird sound and I could smell food from every corner in the school, why are they tormenting me this way? Naomi, please look for a way to help me out of your spells, just come back and undo it.

My muscles were already getting weak after standing for hours and the heavy rain started sucking me from the crown of my head to my feet. I hate rain, I hate it with passion, I easily get weak by it.


Mr Fred also came by with an umbrella saying,”Why are you still in the rain, come with me, let's share this umbrella together so you won't catch a cold.”

”I can't leave here, Miss Naomi will be angry at me if I do.”

"You mean Miss Naomi asked you to remain here as a punishment ?”

”I guess so.” I replied and did it on purpose so he can inform Naomi to come and undo the spell.

Immediately he left to get her, the Principal also came by and was seriously angry as he walked to meet Naomi, I guess I should not have involved him, he should not scream at my mate.

The next few minutes, I saw Naomi rushing to me with an umbrella and my heart was filled with joy and love.

She covered me with the umbrella and said, “What is wrong with you, do you wish to kill yourself?“


“You ordered me to remain here and I have no other choice." I told her the truth and I was shivering like hell


“Okay I'll free you, come with me.“ I suddenly felt something like a burden uplifted from my body and now I am free from the spell.I smiled at her but taking a step I suddenly fell to the ground.I guess my legs are numb now.


“Can you try to walk?“ she became nice to me and even talks in a polite manner as well,maybe this is fate. I nodded as a response and she went on saying,

“Good,I will support you and we walk to that empty class over there after which I will know what to do next.“

“Thank you.“ I appreciated her.

The heavy rain finally stopped and we entered an empty class and we both fell to the ground by mistake,I won't call it a mistake,I will call it fate and she was on top of him looking deep in my eyes and my wolf form was so crazy trying to come out,I had to control myself so my eyes won't change colors.

I apologize to her standing on my feet and we look a little weird but what is she thinking about right now?


“Ethan,I am sorry about earlier,I don't hate you okay and I don't mean to keep you under punishment without food for a long time.“ She apologized and I knew I finally got a way.


“It's no problem,thank you very much,I will drive home to get some treatment.“ l


I could not stop shivering and she asked.
“Why don't I drive you home?“


“Can you drive?“ I had to be sure so I won't end up putting my mate's life at risk.


“Now you underestimate me,I got a driver's permit,so don't you worry,I am not a horrible driver.“ She smiled at him and I nodded.

“Gray,she just smiled at me.“

“This is a good omen.“


“Where is your car so I can get my bag from the office?“
I told her and the next minutes,she already took her bag and we both were already in the car and I had to ask again,
“Are you sure you want to drive? Won't you go home and have some rest?“

She looked at me and said,“I have decided to do this so let me do this,give your home location.“

I turned on the Google talking map for her to make it easy and she is such a good driver.


I noticed she admired my home immediately after we arrived,the gate was opened and one of the werewolves directed her to pack properly.


“Is this your home?"

“Yes,do you also doubt me?“ I said.


“No I don't,I was wondering,are you also a Graham?“


Why is she suddenly asking about my family? Could it be that she knows about us being a werewolf or what? “I mean the Graham's are famous when it comes to history.“


“You guess right again.“ I felt at ease that this is what she knows about us.


“Wow,I can't believe I have been avoiding a historian for long.“


“Does that mean my family name now makes us friends?“ I asked.


“I am not that bad,I will be your friend even if you are just a commoner and not a Graham,I think we need to go in so you can get change,eat enough food and rest as well before I can start leaving.“


“I truly appreciate it.“
I love how everything is going now.

We stepped down heading inside when Derek rushed to meet me and he was about to call me Alpha when I stopped “A....“


“Tell the maids to prepare food,I will go in and change right now,take care of my guest,she is important to me.“


“Yes sir.“
I had to mind link with Derek saying,“She is my human mate, don't disclose our identity."

“Wow,you finally found your mate Alpha,I am so happy.“

“Make her feel comfortable." I ended the mind link.

“Naomi,feel at home,I will go in and change from these wet clothes.“


“No problem,.“ She replied to me.

I entered my room changing my clothes and smiled,“Now,I got her friendship soon I will mark her as mine.“
