Chapter 22: FINDING HER

Alpha Ethan POV

“What? The vampires?”


“Summon the pack and let them know the threat that awaits us and.” She paused holding my hands.

“What you fear the most will haunt you soon and too painful you can't remember.” I suddenly became scared when she finished but there is no way I can show her.

“You need to get some rest now, when I need you, I will send for you.” I said to her and kissed her cheek leaving my room to have a rethink of the vision she saw.

I am not bothered about the vampires , killing them is not a big deal for me but what frightens me the most is the fact that I don't know what I fear the most and I have no memory to remember any, I only know I paid a huge sacrifice to save everyone and became the Alpha.

I need to mind link with Derek, we need to talk before I will think of informing the entire pack about the coming of the vampire a witch saw in her vision.

“Derek.”

“Alpha Ethan, is there anything going on that you need me to solve?”

“Yes, I need you to summon all the Alphas that respect me as the Alpha of all Alphas, let them know this meeting is urgent and anyone who fails to attend is considered an enemy.”

“I will do that immediately and if I may ask, what time is the meeting and where would you like them to meet with you ?” he questioned politely.

“The Graham hall at midnight.“ I ended the mind link.

“What do you think,Gray?” I questioned my wolf form.

“Having a meeting with the Alphas is perfect and also, we need to run, more training as well.” Gray advised .

Truly, it's been a while that I have a trained, I guess I need to resume training tomorrow but right now I need to find her, I need to know what kind of power she possess since the highest level of witch can't give me the answer I need, it's best I hear from the horse's mouth.

“Gray, do you think our mate will reject us ?”

“No, she can't reject us, she is destined to be with us and I understand she is human, she might not understand but with time, she will know she has lots of responsibility .” Gray stated and I smiled.

I drove out of the compound heading to the school she works at.

I already knew her name so I just walked to the office and saw someone arranging some files,“Excuse me sir.” I decided to be polite.

“Please have your seat, are you here to enroll your kid or relatives? If yes, I will direct you to the principal's office.” he said with a smile.

“Not at a, I am here to see someone .” Why can't I get the smell of my mate? Could it be that she left early? Did she avoid work today because of me? Let me not conclude till I found out from him.

“And who could that be?” He asked.

“Naomi.”

“Why are you here for her? Is she a friend of yours?” I noticed his mood changed .

“Yes, she is a friend of mine and I haven't seen her in a while so I came to check on her, I hope I am not disturbing ?”

“Better, you are just her friend, she won't be coming to work this week.”

“If I may ask, do you know the reason?” Why won't she come to work this week? Did something happen that I have no idea about? Is she well? Now I am worried about her.

“Like you said, she is your friend, you ought to know about it.” I see he hates me for being her friend , is he her boyfriend? He better not be because I will kill him.

“My bad, if you don't mind, can you help me with her home address?”

“Young man, can you really state the reason you are here? You call her your friend yet you don't have means to communicate with her and you don't know her home address. Who the hell believes such a lie?” he became rude and I could not control my anger anymore.

“Have you heard of the name Forbes?” I hit the table angrily and I noticed he was shivering and I tried my best to make sure my Alpha dark red eyes didn't reveal itself.

“You don't have to say a word, just tell Naomi, Ethan came to see her, I will be back next week, have a good day ....” I saw his name on his id card on the table and said,“Fred.” I took my leave.

He is lucky I don't wish to create a scene in this school. If not, I would have torn him apart.

How can I locate my mate? Why can't I smell her? I am not good at sniffing someone out but I can tell, I once had someone that shared the same bond with me that can do it, too bad I can't remember who the person is.

I drove without having a direction in mind and finally stopped at a place when I heard some conversation , it about the wolf hunters planning to attack my kinds, I had an evil smile as I stepped out of my car and entered the building without any anyone noticing and in seconds they were already in pool of their own blood.

I cleaned my hands on the clothes of my victim ,“I think the vampire will be more fun to kill than weak humans like you.”

A lady rushed to me holding a knife and stabbed me,“Die you monster, you don't deserve to live , you are cursed.” I started laughing looking at her, humans will never stop to amaze me.

I took out the knife and my wound healed immediately, she was in shock and I gripped her by the neck ,“You just called me a monster right? Should I show you an example ?”

“Please spare my life, I am a mother.” She cried but little did she know, tears didn't move me. I can't afford a weakness so I need to kill her.
