Naomi Jamieson POV


“Anytime,can I?“ He stretched his hands to hug me and I accepted.I could see from my dark apartment someone with glowing red eyes looked at me,I have every tendency to believe it was Aiden.

Fred didn't want to stop hugging me as he held me closer than before,“Okay Fred is enough,stop it."

"I love you Naomi, I still want you,all my life.I have tried every means to tell you how I feel but you still keep saying no to me.“

“Stop this madness Fred,stop.“

Suddenly I felt a strange aura around me and he hit Fred's hands off me and pulled me closer to himself with his hands wrapped around my back holding my waist firm and placing his succulent lips on mine that I couldn't resist.

It was Aiden,those amazing red eyes sure knew how to get the best of me,I didn't want him to stop the kiss but Fred was still around. I stopped.

“Fred, are you okay?“ I did it on purpose because I didn't want Fred to notice he has red eyes.

“Naomi.“

“Not a word, Aiden,Fred, leave now.“ I said and thank God Aiden's eyes were back to normal and Fred left with an evil smirk.

That was close,if Fred is a wolf hunter and he knows Aiden with me is a werewolf,he will want to use everything he has to get rid of him, mostly knowing he thinks I am Aiden's girlfriend.

I turned around and Aiden was not present with me,where could he have gone? Maybe he went inside or something.

I opened the door and the place was still dark,I turned on the light and saw Aiden sitting on the couch looking so angry.

"Why did you kiss me Aiden?“ I questioned him.

"You really want to ask that? It's question time right? You tell me,why did you bring a guy home and let him hug you that way?“

“That's none of your business Aiden,I am not your property.“

“You are mine Naomi, always remember this.“

“Aiden,I can never be yours,I am not any property that someone can easily purchase and dominate,you don't rule me,besides I am doing you a huge favor by letting you stay in my home,do you get that?“

"No I don't,I don't feel good seeing you around guys, besides he was hurting you and I could hear you telling him to stop but he refused and you expect me to just ignore.“ he said looking all angry and getting worse.

Hold on a second,how did Aiden that was inside the house able to hear what Fred talked about?

Am I seeing things for real now? This can't happen if he is not really a werewolf,this confirms it all.

“How is it possible for you to listen to what I said earlier?“

He stammered not knowing what to say next.

“Say something, can't you speak again or have you gone mute already?“ I said to him rolling my eyes and placing my hands on my waist.

“I saw the way he held you and you were uncomfortable about it so I thought he planned to harm you.“ he said to me and I knew he was lying.

Does he think I am a fool or something? But I will just pretend like I am not suspecting him at all so he can be his true self.


“Thank you for helping me, so I guess it's time I get your red meat,how about that?“

“Perfect timing,let's take a stroll to the place, how about that?“ he said.

“Yeah,just give me a few minutes, let me freshen up and then we move.“

“Sure.“ He replied with a smile.

I entered the bathroom turning on the shower. My thought about him might be right,I need to catch him red handed so he can't deny it to me when the truth comes out but for now,I should take up responsibility to protect him from the wolf hunters and mostly Fred that hates him.

I finished bathing and wore my shorts and T-shirt and got ready to move in with him.

We left together holding hands and I felt happy walking with him.

“So tell me your favorite color.“ I asked him.

“I don't really have one." He replied and I told him that he is really weird.

“You are joking right? How can you not have a favorite color? Are you not human?“ I asked.

“Of course I am human,why do you think of such a thing?“ He asked.

“Never mind,we are here already,let's go in.“ I said pointing at the local store,we entered and took our seats.

“Excuse me ma'am,get us a special bowl.“ I shouted about telling the lady over the counter.

“Incoming.“She also replied with a shout.

"What do you mean by a special bowl?“ He asked me.

“Are you for real? You really don't know the meaning?“ I said to him, carrying a surprise look.

“I don't and can you do me a favor,don't laugh about it.“

“Okay,I promise I won't laugh,a special bowl is on the menu,you will enjoy it and be assured it is also red meat.“ I added and he smiled at me which made my heart leap.

A bowl of red fried and sauced meat was served on our table and I asked him,“Do you like beer?“

“Sure.“

“Can you hold your liquor as well?“

“I don't get intoxicated easily.“ He replied and I ordered four bottles of beer to be placed on my table.

While he was eating,I wanted to find out if truly a werewolf could hear from a distance, mostly with the noise here, so said,“Wow this meat is tasty.“

“You can say that again.“

“Excuse me,I need to make this call.“ He nodded.

I was a little distance from him and I called Ethan and purposely said something like,“Hey dear,hope you are good?“

“Yes I am,I am sorry I didn't wait till closing to take you home.“

“You don't have to be sorry all the time,I enjoyed lunch with you today,why don't we do it again tomorrow.“

“Tomorrow then,I can't wait," he said.

"Yeah me too,bye for now,see you at work tomorrow.“

I ended the call and said to myself,if he is human he will act as I left him but if he is a werewolf that heard all I said,he will get jealous and angry.

I returned to the table and he was seriously angry and I could see jealousy written over his face.

“Hey,why are you moody?“

“Why didn't you let me walk with you to school today?“

“Why asking,come on, let's eat.“ He hit the table and I held my laughter and fear. He is truly a werewolf and he values me,does it mean Werewolf men love more than humans? I am sure he will do anything just to keep me safe and happy.

“Are you seeing a guy in school?“

“Wait, what if I am humming? What will you do about it? Don't forget we are not a couple,let's eat so we don't ruin the evening.“ I focused on eating but his eyes were all red.

I opened my phone and decided to check my timeline when I saw my ex going shopping with his girlfriend and they tagged it preparing for his birthday this week Friday then I knew I was lonely again.

I forgot everything trying not to cry over the heartbreak as I ordered for more beer.

“Are you okay Naomi? Is it because of what I asked? I..“

“Not a word,I want to drink tonight,come on join me,let's celebrate us staying together.“ I said naughty things till I finally passed out in his arms.
