Chapter 24: I Hate Him

Naomi Jamieson POV

I expected a kiss but yet nothing, I got nothing. I finally opened my eyes and saw him staring, “Why looking at me that way? You don't want to kiss me?” I asked, feeling so embarrassed as I left his arms.

“I am sorry, I just felt uncomfortable here.” He said feeling sad.

“No problem, I understand you don't want to do it, I won't force you but you better not embarrass me on his birthday. Let's go, we need to begin shopping now so I can make use of tomorrow to teach you everything you need to know before the birthday.”

“Who's birthday?” He questioned and I found it annoying, I am already angry he didn't kiss me, and now this. “You know what, meet me outside, I am done talking to you.” I left him and he rushed to meet up with me.

I hate him more than Lucas himself, I was so carried away that I didn't look at the road I was about to cross. I just entered and boom a vehicle was moving at speed, I could not move, I just remained in one spot expecting death out of shock.

The next second Aiden held me close to himself and used his right hand to stop the car.

“Are you hurt?” He asked me but I couldn't give a response, I just nodded my head looking at the damaged car.

Did Aiden make use of his hands to stop the car or what? Am I imagining things or what?

The driver came out of the car still as shocked as me.

“Did you just?” The driver was about to say something but I don't know what Aiden did to make the driver so scared to the extent he was trembling.

“Let's leave here so we won't attract anyone.” He said and I nodded as I stopped the coming taxi and we entered heading to the boutique direction I gave to him.

“Aiden, did you stop a moving vehicle? Or was I dreaming?” I finally asked the question.

“Just pretend nothing happened, let's just continue our day as planned.” He replied coldly and I noticed his eyes were back to normal.

“You don't just expect me to pretend nothing just happened, Aiden you stopped a moving vehicle with just your right hand and caused it so much damage, not just that, what did you do to the driver that made him so scared as well?” I had many questions running through my head and I needed answers.

“Naomi, let's just forget about it, I don't want to talk about it,” he said looking so serious I just have to forget about it just for today since he is not in the mood to talk about it, there is always another day.

“Fine, I will forget about it today but prepare my answers another day okay?”

“I don't have any answers for you.”

“How rude of you to speak to me in that manner, you know what, let me not ruin my happy mood, we are here already, let's just do some shopping and return home,” I said angrily after paying the driver and he came down as well.

We entered the boutique heading to the male section of clothes, “Sit down, I got this but just know I hate you ." I had to make it clear to him, but he just nodded. What is happening today? Why is he just getting on my nerves?

I walked to the corporate clothes displayed on the dummy and also on the hangers. I guess white, red, and blue will look good on them.

I got about four corporate wears, two suits and easy-wear clothes he can wear at home or to any other places.

“Aiden, go with him to the changing room to try out this outfit.” I said pointing at the worker who took them from me.

“All of them?”

“Yes all of them and also know you are not just trying these on, I am still getting more for you.”

“Okay fine." He looked unhappy about it but I feel happy about it because I am going to punish him by stressing him to try out most of the outfits till he finally gets frustrated.

I waited for him to step out after some minutes and when he did, he looked like a demi-god. What if Aiden is not human?

What if he is an Allen that mistakenly got to earth and forgot his identity, is that the reason he is so strange and powerful?

Or could he be a werewolf? I doubt if Allen's eyes change that way as well, maybe he is a vampire too or a hybrid, what am I even saying, those beings can't be in existence, we just have humans and robots, Naomi, I hit my head, and stop worrying yourself over Aiden, you hate him.

“Nice one, try the other,” I said to him and he went back in.

He tried others and I got so angry seeing how the ladies who came for shopping got attracted to him.

What made me angry was when one of the ladies walked up to him saying, “Hey handsome, you look great in this outfit.”

“Thank you.” Aiden smiled at her.

I walked angrily to them, “Why are you talking to my man hum? Do you want a death wish?”

She left without saying a word and I frowned at Aiden, “Why did you smile back at her?”

“She loves my outfit, moreover you said you hated me.”

“Really? You are so ungrateful to me, do you wish to know the truth about this outfit you are wearing? I will tell you, you look horrible in it and it doesn't suit you.” I lied to him but to be sincere with myself, I got jealous seeing other ladies admiring him so he shouldn't wear them to avoid too much attraction from ladies.

I walked out on him and said to the worker, “I will pay for the rest excluding the one he is wearing, I don't like it on him.”

“Yes ma'am.”

Aiden didn't say a word when we returned home together, he pushed me close to the wall with his lips so close to mine and he held my waist and he questioned me in his sexy voice, “Do you like me, Naomi?”
