Chapter 36: Need to Leave

Naomi Jamieson POV

I could not take my eyes off his sexy hardened chest,his view is exactly as Aiden, gosh,these two men will be the death of me.

I didn't know how but it was like I was being called by Ethan as I took some steps to him and touched his face looking at his hazel brown eyes making my heart leap.

"Is everything okay Naomi?" He asked me while holding my hands and I finally regained my senses and I looked at his chest again.I screamed and turned around saying,“I am so sorry,I didn't mean to barge in without knocking."

I hate myself for doing this,I feel so ashamed right now.

"It's okay Naomi,I am not naked." he said.

"You have no shirt on." I replied, still facing the door and backing him.

"If being shirtless makes you this uncomfortable,give me a minute,I will put on a shirt." He added and I gave a short reply,"That's a brilliant idea."

I waited for him to talk and he didn't say anything,"Are you wearing your shirt?"

"None,I am totally naked now,you can turn around and see for yourself." he said laughing and I yelled,"Don't joke with me."

He walked past me and I closed my eyes immediately but foolishly,he was just pulling my legs.
I came out with him saying,"You shouldn't be walking around now,you need to get enough rest."

"But I am starving.“ He said and I remembered he didn't eat at all today because of me.

"Oh,you need to eat before you take your rest and I will also advise you to take some painkillers if you have,it will help your muscles as well.“ I started and he smiled at me with a thank you gesture.


We walked to the dining table and lots of different foods were served by the maids and I wonder if they are having a feast here today or could today be his birthday or what?

“Please,let's eat."

"Don't worry about me,I am full already,all I want is for you to eat and be filled so you can get enough rest as well." I replied.

I declined to eat with him because I thought about Aiden.I need to get home as early as possible to stop that bitch that plans to give him food behind my back.I will make her life a living hell.

"Did I do something to upset you?“ He asked, looking so sad.

"Not at all,I told you we are friends already,why would you ask such a thing?"

"You rejected eating with me,I feel so horrible about it,what can I do to make you eat with me." He asked with his palm folded in-between each other under his jaw and looking at me like he was thinking on how to solve my kind of person.

If I don't eat with him,I doubt if he is going to touch his food at all and I need him to eat a lot so I can tell the principal tomorrow that I took proper care of him.

"Okay,I will eat a little from it if that will make you happy." I said taking the fork to eat from the pasta on the table and then took a bite from the sauced chicken as well,he smiled and started eating from his plate of food.

I must say,the cooks are great,this is so tasty and I wished Aiden was here with me to have a taste of this great meal.

While eating,Ethan's eyes were all over me like he admires me or something but I felt so uncomfortable about it and emptied the glass cup of water.

I need to leave right now,but what can I say so he won't think I am angry with him and that's the reason I am leaving immediately.

Luckily Aiden tried reaching me on call and my phone ringtone was so loud,"Excuse me." I said,"Hello.“

"Are you safe? Where are you?“ Aiden asked with care and I felt great about it. He is so sweet and it's good to know someone cares this deeply about me.

"I will be home soon,I have to drop by somewhere." I replied ending the phone call and sent a text message saying,"Don't you dare eat food from any neighbors,if you do,just know you are leaving my home tonight." I kept my phone and noticed the sudden change of countenance in Ethan.

“Ethan, are you okay?“

“Yes,I am,I am just feeling a little headache,I guess I will just get some rest." he said.

"Oh you need rest right away,I will help you to your room before I take my leave."

“Would you mind staying a little longer with me Naomi?“ He asked In a calm tone and I accepted.

I followed him to his room and he laid on the bed properly and I asked him if he needed anything else but he just smiled as a response to me.

“Why are you smiling?“

"I feel happy having someone watch over me,I can't remember the last time I got such treatment from a girl.“ He said and I laughed,"That means you are a horrible boyfriend.“

“How can you just conclude on that immediately without finding out more about me? Well I don't blame you about it,you always think the opposite of me." he said looking down to the bed and I sat close to him asking,“If you are not a horrible boyfriend then why haven't you been getting good treatment from ladies?“

“That's because I never had one in my entire life but I do have bitches for fun."

"You are lying to me,you should have someone in your life, probably now your ex." I explained.

"I have never had a girlfriend since my existence,I know he looked strange but it is the truth,if you don't believe me,I totally understand.“

I became interested to know more about his love life.

“Why? Haven't you met the right one yet? Or is it that you don't believe in love or something?" I asked.

“Yeah, that's part of it.“

“Don't worry,soon you will meet someone that will completely win your heart over and I will be here to hear the good news."

"As for that,there is someone destined to be mine already and I am in love with her." I applauded, saying,"Good,is she beautiful like me?“

“Yes,she is beautiful just like you." I felt butterflies in my belly.

"Okay,I really need to leave now and it's great having a good conversation with you for the first time,take good care of yourself and see you tomorrow at work.“ I stood up .

"Thank you so much Naomi,I will send the drivers to take you home safely."

“Don't worry about that,I will be able to go home by myself." I replied, taking my leave out of the place and ordered an Uber home.

It was already dark and when I got home,I could hear a love song playing in my apartment. He didn't just let the bitch come to the apartment to give him food,he is also playing my favorite love song for her,he is getting it from me.

I barged in and noticed petals on the ground,the whole place was tidy and neat as well,I grew more angry,he must have learnt this online to impress the bitch right? He made use of all effort to make my home tidy for her to come in.

“Aiden, Aiden." I screamed his name, packing my hair up and getting ready for a fight as I barged into my room and saw him holding a huge teddy bear,“Welcome home Naomi." My anger changed into happiness.

"I thought you said a girl was in here?“

"Yes I did,meet Daisy,your new doll." Tears rolled from my eyes and I jumped on him giving him a deep hug,he got me what I once wished for and also he made me feel so special right now,“Thank you so much Aiden,thank you.“ He caresses my back. Aiden is not even my boyfriend but I already feel like we are dating.
