Chapter 9: I Need To Help Him


Naomi Jamieson POV
“NOT AGAIN.” The annoying guy rushed to me and he held me. I feel like punching him so hard right now, “I was really hungry, you kicked me out today and I had no place to go to, I am wounded as well.”
I could not even punch him the way I wanted just because I felt what he said was true, he is hungry and many people can do lots of crazy things because of hunger, I need to help him. “Go to my apartment and wait for me, I will sort this out myself.” I said and he was happy, knowing I allowed him to go into my home and he took his leave.
“Everyone I am so sorry for what happened today, just tell me what I need to do to make peace reign, we are neighbors and I want us to be on good terms.” I said with a brief smile.
“Knowing it’s you, we will let it go and you all are free to have dinner with us anytime.”
“Thank you very much, I shall take my leave now.” I said rushing to my apartment, I hope he has not touched a thing and God damn it, my place is rough, why did I even let him into my apartment? I wish life could just get to normal without me meeting him or the other guy at all.
I opened my door and I saw him looking around. I gave a warning saying, “Hey, don’t touch anything in my home, I just helped you because I believed you were really hungry and now you got lost.”
“I don’t have anywhere to go to, I have been asleep for a thousand years and destiny brought you to me to wake me up, though I have not accepted you as my mate, you are mine.”
Now I understand the meaning of the crazy world, how can one claim he has been asleep for a thousand years and he is claiming me as his? I could not help but laugh. I think it's high time I involve the police otherwise I will be killing him right now.
“I am calling the police at once, you must be crazy.”
I took my phone and dialed 911,”Hello officer, my name is Naomi and I want you to send some officers down to my place, a guy is trespassing ,my home address is 45 avenue lane at Orchid.”
I ended the call and he said to me, “Naomi, you know the police can’t separate us even if I am too weak to mark you.”
Mark me? Is he a killer or what? And why is he saying he is weak? Where is his boldness I saw before leaving the house this morning?”
“Please.” My heart melted like wax when he used the word please, why do I feel so connected and sorry for him? Now the police are here, I need to learn how to ignore him no matter what, even if he says please to me.
“Officer, this is the man that has been troubling me, I don’t know him before and he is causing so much trouble for me.” I pointed at him and the officer walked to him and questioned him.
“Young man, what is your name?”
“Alp…” I watched him speak but he paused and said his name.
“My name is Aiden.” I don’t know while his name sounds familiar to me, I am sorry Aiden but you are a stranger and the world we live in, I can’t just let you live in my home, what if you are a killer? A rapist? Kidnapper? What if you committed a crime somewhere like money laundering and you are trying to get close to me to involve me, I can’t go to prison.
“Aiden, can I see your identity card and who are your parents?”
“I don’t have one.” He replied and I wonder why a citizen will not have an identity card.
“Sorry which of the questions are you answering?” the policeman asked politely.
“I mean the Identity card and I also think my parents are dead, I have no one except for her, and she is my m...” Oh no, he is an orphan like me, now I pity him, he tried using the word mate, I gaze at him angrily and I believe he understood so he didn’t say out the word.
“Well Aiden, you have to come with me to the station right now, I need to run a check on you and I want you to never trespass again.” He left with the officer and I watched them from the window and for a second I am actually regretting the fact that I called the police on him. What if he is truly an orphan and can’t remember who he truly is as well? Well, that’s not my concern anymore, he is just too handsome going through that I must say, and truly the world is not fair.
I locked my door behind me and approached my room, taking off my clothes and throwing it off as usual, entering the bathroom having a good bath but the thought of Aiden could not leave my head, is he the same person I kissed in a coffin? I can’t stop thinking about the kiss. He has the perfect body physique, sometimes his eyes are red, scary but sexy as well, wait a minute, and I notice he has brown hazel eyes, what the hell is he? In stories, only a werewolf or a vampire can have different colors of eyes, no way, I must be stressed to have been seeing things, I guess I am just too obsessed with fantasies.
I stepped out from the bathroom and wore another dress. I need to get food at the restaurant. I don’t feel like eating junk food and cooking is never an option for me.
I took a number to the restaurant when I got a call from the officer.
“Hello officer, let me guess, he is begging right now and making a promise never to trespass into my home again right?”
“I wish I could say that, but he has been silent, he doesn’t even have a phone, no criminal records, no health records though we are still checking.”
“This is strange, is he an alien or something?”
“Please don’t make me laugh Miss Naomi, I don’t believe in fantasies, I will let him go for now and keep finding out his details, let me know if he troubles you again.”
“Okay officer, thank you.” I ended the call.
Who exactly are you Aiden? Why can’t you get something about you anymore? Are you a ghost seeking revenge? Why do I pity you so much like I should go out there and give you a helping hand?
“Miss, we are here already.” The UBER driver said to me, “Thank you.” I made my payment and stepped out of the car when I collided with a lady, “OH I am so sorry, I guess I was really in a rush.” The lady said to me that she looks the same age as me or probably I might be older than her. She has short blue hair and dark blue eyes with full eyebrows. She is short and skinny as well.
“It’s no problem, you came to get food right, let me not keep you for too long, let’s go in.” I said with genuine smiles.
“Nah, my fiancé just called me out to meet him here saying he is treating me to dinner, am I not lucky?”
“Wow, that’s good, congratulations.” Saying this to her, I heard a familiar voice saying,”Hey honey, I have been waiting for you, come on in.”
“I guess I will have to leave now, nice talking to you.” She said walking in and when I turned, it was Lucas, that crazy jerk, so he left me for her? Interesting. I can’t leave here without getting my revenge on him.
I walked him and started making orders and when he came close, I made orders for two.
“My lover will love more shrimps, please add more spicy chicken as well.”
“Naomi.” He called.
“Hey Lucas.” I tried to control my rage but why does it feel like I am about to burst into tears, it will be a big disappointment if I start crying here, I want the fool to know I have someone I am dating right now.
“How have you been?”

“Why do you care? Well, I have a new lover called Aiden, he is so handsome and romantic, and I am here to get food for two because he knows I don’t have the time to cook and will never leave me.” Oh no, why do I have to mention Aiden out of all the boy’s names out there.
Lucas tried to talk but I stopped him saying, “Not a word, I will take my leave now, my lover will be missing me so helplessly.”
“I know you are not seeing anyone Naomi, cut the acting but if you are seeing someone, please bring him to my 29th birthday coming up, you know the date.”
“Fine, you will see him then and I am happy you broke up with me, you do not deserve someone like me at all.” I left with anger and stopped a taxi, holding back my tears.
Immediately I got home, I started crying my eyes out, he is a bastard, I hate him, and how dare he say such a thing to me? He is a fool for breaking up with me and asking that skinny girl to marry him.
I know I am not seeing anyone, I still can’t believe he can tell when I am lying, he got so used to me and this is painful, I guess I need to eat now and forget about everything.
I brought out the food and arranged them on the dinner table and I still don't know what pushed me to the extent of buying two.
I sat down and I could see Aiden smiling at me saying, “Naomi, I am so hungry, can I eat with you?”
I closed my eyes and opened them, he was not there, gosh, I must be hallucinating, what has Aiden done to me? Why am I having likeness for him?
I heard the thunder rumble and the chills I felt made me feel like it’s about to rain. Oh no, if Aiden has nowhere to go, he will probably be soaked under the rain and he will surely get a cold.
I need to help him but why?
I called the police and was told he was not with them but he was caught on camera at a lonely place sitting and the rain soaking him.
I picked up my umbrella and took a taxi to meet him. My heart was beating extremely fast.
I finally saw him and I rushed out of the car with my umbrella walking to meet him. He suddenly passed out and I begged the driver to join me in carrying him to the car. He rested on my chest while the driver made a U Turn to take me home.
He was shivering and I held him close trying to keep him warm but I didn’t know while I gaze at his wet pink lips, they were so tempting and when I tried to touch them, he opened his eyes, those scary and sexy eyes looking at me with admiration and he smiled at me reaching for my lips, I felt like I was in a different word and I know I have tasted these lips before, how he sucked my lower lips and held my neck firm was like a high current flowing round my body.
