Alpha Ethan POV

I am so excited,today I am going to be with my mate Naomi,what a perfect plan. She will be so shocked to see me in her school working as an historian teacher and also assisting her,this means we are going to be so close and she will end up having feelings for me.

This is great. Derek came in saying,“Alpha Ethan,some vampires were caught last night."

"Why tell me,do justice to them,today is a good day for me and I don't want to hear anything relating to vampire matters.“

"What's the occasion?“ He asked.

"Soon you will find out,get the car ready,I need to leave now.“ I replied and he left to carry out what I told him.

I looked at my reflection in the mirror and I looked so smart,"Tell me gray,will our mate be able to resist me immediately when she sees me?“

"I don't think looks can make her accept us as her mate.“

"You are right in a way,I notice she gets upset whenever I make use of the word mate,since she has no idea of our kind,it's best if I win her heart the right way,she will surely fall in love with me.“

I wore my wrist watch and took my leave entering the car and zoomed off to work.

I was looking for Naomi but she was nowhere to be found.I got distracted by some of the female teachers.

“Hello,you must be the new historian teacher right?"

I faked my smile saying,“Yes I am,I hope I am safe?“

“No, you are not." One of them replied and they both chuckled.
“Really? Did I do something wrong?“

"Yes you did,why must you look so handsome and still be an historian teacher?“

“Exactly my point,I have never seen a male teacher this handsome before except for Fred but seeing you alone,I can tell you look like a descendant of a Greek God.“

I laughed and teased them and Gray said to me,“We are here for our mate and not to flirt with these humans running after you because of your cuteness.“

“Yes I know that but the ladies are sexy as well,I will ask after her now."

I asked about the whereabouts of Naomi and they told me she might be teaching right now and I caught her smell,she Is here for real.
The ladies got angry with me because they knew I was after her.I guess all ladies have this special treasure in them to know if their crush is like someone else.

I left them and held to the spot her scent came from and about to express myself to her,she questioned me rudely,

“What are you doing here?“

“Naomi, please give me a chance to talk to you, I really don't know why you despise me.“ I said I was feeling so sad about it. Other girls are willing to do anything to make me be in their lives,be it a wolf or humans like her,witches too. How can I forget that but why is Naomi so different?

“Don't come close to me and don't even think of using the mate word close to me.“ She yelled at him then the principal walked in saying, “Miss Naomi what is going on here?“


“Nothing sir,“ She smiled and I knew she was faking it,it seems she respects the principal more than anyone else.

“Don't lie to me, I heard you shouting at the new teacher.“ She had a shocked expression on her face.I guess she has no idea that I am the new teacher everyone is talking about.

“New teacher? I am kind of confused sir.“ She said, looking at me with a dangerous gaze.

“I am sorry for the misunderstanding, my name is Ethan and the new historian teacher, I was told to meet with you to assist you as well.“ I explained myself and smiled at her.

“You heard him, Miss Naomi, be of good conduct to him otherwise you are fired, Mr. Ethan welcome once more, let me know if she gives you more problems.“ The principal said and I smiled appreciating him.

“Thank you very much, I truly appreciate it and I know working with Miss Naomi won't be a problem at all, right Miss Naomi?“ I looked at her and I know she can't escape this,she has to respond to me if she doesn't want issues with the principal.


“Yes sir, I will make sure I work with him without a problem.“

“It's good to hear that from you, I will be at the office now .“ The principal said before leaving and she continued smiling as the principal was out of sight.

“So, can we be friends now?“ I asked with a smile but damn it,she laughed out so loud and said to me in a deadly gaze, “You think coming to work at this school will give you access to talk to me? Dream on, my talk with you is work and after work, don't you dare come close to me.“

“Why do you hate me so much? I am trying to be nice and make friends with you.“ I tried explaining my true intentions.

“Well sorry to make you feel sad, I am not ready to be your friend.“ she yelled at me but trust me,I hardly give up knowing she is mine already,it is destined already so I will never stop till she is mine.

“Tell me where I wronged you, you can't decline my friendship for no reason.“

“I don't know why I am wasting my time talking to you.“ she hissed, walking out on me.

“Our mate is so tough.“ Gray said.

“You can say that again."

I followed her and she did it again,she made use of her spells on me to command me when she yelled, “I want you to stop following me and remain here till I ask you to come, it's my rest time.“

.She left without looking back and no matter how hard i tried to disobey her by leaving the spot, something else held my body to remain on the spot,this means only she can undo it. I can't believe my life as an Alpha will be controlled by a human.
