Chapter 42: Everything Is Amazing


Naomi Jamieson POV

Aiden is not even my boyfriend but I already feel like we are dating.


“You are welcome, come with me, I made dinner." He made dinner. Oh my God, this is so nice of him, I couldn't even control the way I was blushing so hard.

I walked with him to dinner after keeping my new teddy bear in my room.

It was like a feast, “You mean you made all these yourself?“ I questioned seeing the delicious food he made, though I have not tasted it. One thing is for sure, the food looks tasty already.

“Yes I did, I am useful after all, and please don't use your commanding tone on me again, I will make you happy, is a promise.“ He said to me and I don't understand what he means by that, I merely dive into eating the food.

He just watched me eat and I thought of feeding him some fried potatoes and he opened his mouth, it was an amazing moment for me.

I ate earlier at Ethan's place but I don't know how suddenly I got a large appetite to eat more and empty the whole plate.

Aiden taking the plates to the kitchen remarked, “You are such a glutton, I can't believe you can eat the whole food.“

“That's because the meal is so delicious.“ I replied to him feeling so happy as I joined him in taking the dishes to the kitchen, wow, I can't even recognize my kitchen anymore.

“Aiden, thank you for making the house tidy.“

“You are welcome.“

“You stock the kitchen with foodstuff, you are so amazing, how can I thank you enough?“

“From now henceforth I will be your cook and make sure I always take good care of you and the home as well.“

I looked at him and my heart leaped again, he is exactly the man I am looking for and with him, I can get over Lucas for real, that reminds me, Lucas's birthday is this coming Friday. I will make him feel the heat when he sees I have a perfect man in my life.

He finished washing the dishes and we sat in the living room talking. Then I asked him, “Aiden, do you even have a girlfriend?“

“You are my girlfriend.“ He said and I could not help but laugh, he is joking again, so I will take it as a no, he doesn't have one but I need to look for how to win him completely so he can ask me out.

I should just give it time.

“What about you, do you have a boyfriend?“ He asked the same question.

“No, I don't, I used to be in a relationship but he dumped me for another, so I have moved on completely.“ I replied to him and he apologized for bringing up such a sad memory but it's all okay, I am happy now.

At night, I was already feeling sleepy, “You can go in to get some rest.“

“Yeah, good night Aiden.“ I replied taking my leave to my room but this is not right, I can't be letting him sleep on the couch all the time, what if he shares my bed with me? Nothing is going to happen right? I trust myself, nothing will take place, it's just us sleeping on the same bed and sharing the blanket.

I stepped out of the room, “Is everything okay?“ He asked.

“Share the bed with me.“ I said avoiding his eyes.

“You are serious right?“ He asked to confirm and I nodded.

He came to the room with me and went in to have his bath while I was already covered under the blanket.

He came out wearing no shirt at all, I can do this, I can overcome this temptation tonight, I trust myself.

He joined me on my bed and said good night to me and I nodded without saying a word.

I could not sleep, my heart was racing fast, I am sharing the same bed with someone I am crushing on, what if I am the one that rapes him?

“You can't sleep right?“ He asked and I nodded.

“Come closer.“ He said and allowed me to rest my head on his hard chest, now it feels better.

“Thank you.“ I said.

“You are welcome, now close your eyes so you can get enough rest and go early to work tomorrow.“

“I will, good night Aiden and thank you for making my evening.“ I closed my eyes and suddenly fell asleep.

It feels so good sleeping in this manner, I wish I could be sleeping on his chest everytime, it would be amazing.


The next morning when I woke up, I noticed Aiden was not on the bed, where could he have gone to? About getting up, the door opened revealing Aiden carrying a tray of breakfast to serve me in the bed.

“Good morning Naomi, breakfast in bed.“

“How are you so perfect?“ I questioned and also questioned why my heart has chosen to fall in love again.

“I don't understand your question.“ He said.

“Never mind, thank you.“ I said taking it from him, wow scrambled egg, slice bread, and tea, Lucas I have seen someone better than you.

After breakfast, I got ready for work, “When I get back, we will get red meat just like I promised you the other day.“

He looks happy hearing red meat, I guess he loves them so much.

“That will be great, see you when you get back and call me if there is danger, I will be there to rescue you.“

“Sure.“ He kissed my forehead and smiled at me, kissing a woman on her forehead means he adores her, OMG this place is so hot.

I left the house and took a taxi to work but the kiss he placed on my forehead kept playing and my cheeks turned red, I was daydreaming and I ended up colliding with someone that has dark eyes like the demon I saw that day. He smiled at me and my heart was beating, the demon wants to hurt me.
