Naomi Jamieson POV

“Thank you very much for telling me about it Fred,I will be careful from today but I have just a question.“

“Go on.“ He said.

“Do you really think wild animals just started attacking humans? Is there something else?“

“There is nothing else,it's the wild animals." Looking at his eyes and the way he was tapping his legs with his left hands makes me feel he was lying to me but it's all good,I am good at pretending as well.

"I need to go now,thank you.“ I added taking my leave to meet Ethan that I kept waiting.

“Sorry for the delay, let's get going.“

“Sure, after you.“ He said.

We had dessert at the school cafeteria.

“So tell me, Naomi, do you have a boyfriend?“ He suddenly asked the question.

“I will say yes and no.“ I replied after thinking about what Aiden has done for me so far.

“Why do you have two answers?“ I know he must find my answers so weird and confusing at the same time.


“Well, I once had a boyfriend but we are no more together, that's the no part.“ I explained the no part to him.


“Okay, what about the yes part?“ He asked.


“There is this guy, I am not sure he knows I have fallen for him.“ he hit the table angrily and the plate got broken,what the hell is wrong with him?

“Oh I am sorry, I didn't know playing with the table would result in this.“ He said and I accepted.


“Okay no problem at all, they will come and clear it, why not pay for the meals let's sit at the school park and talk a little.“ I suggested


“Sure, that's perfect.“

I noticed he had mood swings all of a sudden,he was no more bright like he was some moment again and what the hell is running through his head right now that he is looking in one direction?

“Are you okay Ethan?“ I had to tap him since calling his name was not working in getting his attention.


“Yes I am okay, I am sorry, I just thought about something.“ He said.

Why does he have to apologize all the time? There is no need for that,I must say.


“You don't have to apologize."


“So what do you think of me?“ Why is he asking such a trickish question,well with the look of things,I consider him a true friend.


“I will say you might end up being best friends with me, what do you think about it? Then one of these days, I will invite the guy I am falling for to join us.“ I added with a smile on my lips and imagining the moment as well,two hotties sitting at my present,I would suggest a threesome.

He suddenly behaves weird again saying something entered his eyes and took an excuse to leave.

When he came back,we talked about other things that are meaningful.I must say,it was fun talking to Ethan but he left work early saying he has some urgent things to do.

I continued reading a werewolf book when the female teachers came to me calling me names,“You slot.“

“You bitch,asshole.“

"What is it? What do I do when I am being called such names?“ I asked them, feeling so upset.

“You know what you did, you whore,don't try to act smart with us,I will make it clear with you,stay away from our man."

“And who is your man?“

“Ethan, the new historian teacher.“

“I can see you all have lost your senses,do you think you knew him before me? If you remember very well,he once came here to look for me.“ I said to them acting bossing and they all kept mute.

“If you know what is good for you,get out of my office you bunch of ugly girls.“

“I will deal with you,just mark my words,by the time Ethan becomes mine,you will beg us."

“Can we please set money in betting this,I know Ethan will never fall for types like you,you are not even up to what he desires in a woman,so get lost.“ They left and I had an evil smirk on my face.

Crazy people everywhere,who do they think they are? You all should wait till I invite Aiden to this school then you will know the meaning of handsome and a hottie.

I continued reading the wolf book and at the end of the story,the writer said something in quote,“People think I am crazy but I am not,my precious reader, everything is real, werewolves are real,I am a human that once got mated to one of them and it was a sweet experience.“

No,no,I must be crazy,I must have gone mad to believe what she just said,they can't be real right?

If this is true,am I Aiden mate? Is it the reason he is being overprotective of me?

The car he stopped to save me from danger,no human strength can ever do that, except the person is a superhero with super strength,and he is no superhero,Aiden might be a werewolf.

“Hey,won't you go home?“ Fred said to me and I stopped thinking.

“I am about to leave anyway.“ I acted like I was carrying my bag.
“If you don't mind letting me take you home,you look worried.“

“You don't have to worry Fred,I am perfectly well,I will take a taxi.“

“Please,at least let me be sure that you got home safe and sound.“

“Okay no problem,let's go then." I replied and left with him entering his car and we zoomed over to my place,I can't believe it's dark already.

We got to my apartment and he came down with me,“Thank you for the ride.“

“Anytime,can I?“ He stretched his hands to hug me and I accepted.I could see from my dark apartment someone with glowing red eyes looked at me.I have every tendency to believe it was Aiden.
