Naomi Jamieson POV

He smiled at me and my heart was beating, the demon wanted to hurt me.

“You look tasty.“ He said with his hands on my hair and I was shivering.

“Please don't harm me,I will give you anything you want,just tell me what you want,I am begging you.“ I said but he just smiled at me.

“Do you think I want your money?“ He laughed and I became more scared,if he doesn't want my money then what exactly does he want? I hope it's not my blood? He is a demon right? Demon fed on blood,does that mean he is going to drain my blood off me?

“What then, do you want from me?“

“Good question,now let me tell you what I want,your boyfriend killed my brother in the woods.“ He said and I wondered whose boyfriend he is referring to that comes to the wood.

“You must be mistaken for someone else,I have no boyfriend.“

“Don't you dare lie to me, otherwise I will make your death more painful.“ He said and I kept calm,who could he be referring to? Wait a minute,the woods,that very day,does that mean I am not hallucinating? What happened was real? Aiden came to save me from the blood sucking demon that day, could he also be a blood sucking demon?

“He killed my brother and I am going to kill you to pay back.“ About placing his teeth on my neck,I don't know how it happened. Aiden came to rescue.

“I warned you,never lay your hands on my woman.“ He called me his woman,wow ,he looks so hot right now.

I remembered how he killed his brother the other day and he might do the same,I asked him to stop,he is not a murderer.

“Aiden stop,let him go.“ Truly he let him go and turned to me,“He was trying to harm you.“

“I know and you saved me.“

“What if he comes around again and harms you?“ He said with concerns in his eyes.

“I don't want you to commit murder because of me,you don't kill bad guys,the least you can do is to bring them to the police and the police will do their job.“ I explained to him and he kept calm.

“Fine,I won't kill him but if he lays another attempt on your life I will kill him.“ He added

“Can I know why you are here?“

“You forgot this on the table.“ He said giving me the historian textbook,OMG,thank goodness he brought it for me,the principal would have dealt with me seriously now that we have a historian that will be assisting me.

Wait a second,Aiden doesn't know the route to my place of work,how then did he find me so easily? Is he a spy? Or did he place a tracking device on my body so he can find me easily?

“How did you find me?“ I asked him looking deep in his eyes.

“I sniff you out,it's easy.“ He said and now I am suspecting him and believe every word the blood sucking demon told me.

“How is that even possible? Can a human sniff a human out when you are not an animal?“

He started laughing,“I was just joking Naomi,how can I possibly do that,I guess I ran in luck today.“ He said.

I discovered there is no way he can defend himself so I let him be and I will take a secret job to find out if truly he is what I think he is.

“Yeah you are so in luck,well this is the place I work just Incase you want to drop by during my break period.“ I said pointing at the school.

“Sure,now I know the place,it would be easy to find out and protect you at all times.“

“Yeah,I need to get to work now,see you at home.“

“Bye for now.“ He waved at me and took a cab to leave immediately.

What exactly is Aiden? Could he be a werewolf or a blood sucking demon, number one he is so weird and calls me like an animal,using the mate word.

I saw him naked in my room after the night I saw a werewolf that made me pass out.I know the werewolf turns back to human and becomes totally naked.

Is that the reason why his details could not be found at the police station? Is he my guardian angel? Those red hazel eyes..

I heard a loud horn,I almost threw an insult at the person that interrupted my thinking only to find out it was Ethan.

“Oh,Hello Ethan.“

“Hey Naomi,let's go together in my car,I will drive now.“ He smiled and looked so cheerful.

“Sure,we are here already,I will join you to pack your car." I teased.

I entered his car and we got to the office together.

I was carried away again thinking about what happened earlier when he said,“Is there anything troubling you?“

“Not at all.“ I replied to him.

“Are you sure? This was exactly how I saw you earlier today,we can pause the talk on historians and focus on what is bothering you,how about that?“ He said again and I knew he was not ready to give up.

“Okay,first of all this is a secret and number two,you must not call me crazy cause what I am about to say might look silly.“

“I promise,so tell me.“

“I believe there is a blood sucking demon out there.“

“You mean vampires like in fantasy books?“

“Yes,I don't think it is just fantasy,It's real.“

“Okay,I promise not to call you insane but what is your stand to claim that they are real?“

“I saw them,one tried to hurt me and someone killed it in my presence and it turned to ashes immediately,but this someone said I was hallucinating and I know it's true,not quite long another came for me.“

“Okay Naomi,I guess I will talk to the principal to give you this week to come home and rest,the person is right,you might be hallucinating.“

“Even you,you know what,forget we talk just go,I have class now.“ I said walking out on him but when I turned back to say how about lunch during break period, he was nowhere to be found.
