Chapter 47

I suppose it makes sense. When does a hectic Alpha like him have time to prepare meals for himself? I grin as an idea comes to me out of nowhere. Grocery shopping is something no one ever allows me to do. This is my chance, because I've found an unwitting victim! I raise my eyes to him with my most blameless expression, extending my grey eyes, as I always do. "Could we please go get some food?" Gabriel gives me a suspicious look for a few moments then nodding and picking up the microwave keys. I ecstatically whoop and dash out towards the garage.
As I followed Gabriel to the gleaming red car and fasten myself in, I think to myself, "Finally, somebody is finally allowing me go grocery shopping." He exits the garage and drives onto the dirt road, passing through the woods before reaching the gentle, black tarmac. We drove for fifteen minutes, with me changing the radio stations and also singing along to whichever songs I know off keyWe arrive at grocery store and entered holding a shopping cart not long after. "I can't go grocery shopping because no one will let me." As we begin heading down the first aisle, I sigh contentedly.
"Wait, what?" Gabriel grabs the bottom of my shirt and pulls me back. "Why not?" I shrug innocently, despite the fact that I know why. "I'm not sure." I went the last time with Chris, and he forbade me from going food shopping."

"Babe, return that." Gabriel groans heavily as he loads three boxes of bread and two packets of buns onto the trolley. "I'm not a pig, but how can you refuse Doritos?" "Nutella is life, Gabriel," I shout as I wave the jar at him before putting it in the trolley. "Right, you're certainly barred from shopping for groceries after this." "At least I tried." I pout pathetically before squinting in bewilderment as his eyes shift to my lips and blaze a bright gold. "Never mind, you've been unbanned." When I grin, he murmured, shaking his head with a smile, and I rush off to a different aisle, ignoring his calls.
I go throughout the store, pulling faces at little children when their mothers aren't looking, and checking out new things. I roam around for a while and eventually locate Gabriel chatting with Chris and Linda at the frozen food department. When they hear my footsteps, they whirl around and complain loudly since they can't see me considering the volume of food I'm carrying. Before turning to them, I pour everything into the trolley. "Hello there, gentlemen!" "I hope you learnt your lesson," Chris replies to Gabriel as he messed with my hair and hugging Linda.
"Unfortunately, I did." He responds with a toothy grin, drawing me closer to him with an unsatisfied expression. We travel back to the area after shopping, with me fighting with Gabriel about why I can't go home. Even the school explanation falls flat. I scream at Chris for handing over more of my belongings, which means Gabriel has succeeded and Now i'm a "sore loser," as he described me. I take the two big suitcases from the boot and walk inside, poking my tongue out to him as he walks past, amused by my antics.
He slams the door behind him before joining me to the kitchen and placing the final two bags on the table. When I'm hauled up and supported onto the kitchen counter, I've just collected a Snickers bar. I peel open the package, frowning at Gabriel. "How come you constantly have to carry me around?" He chuckles as he places the meal in the pantry, his figure visible through the open doorway. I murmur in response, too preoccupied with uncovering the chocolate bar. "I adore lifting you and you hardly weigh anything anyhow." I licked my lips to remove the caramel after taking a bite.
When I glance up, Gabriel stands in front of me, his gaze concentrated, the gold flecks reappearing and gleaming brightly. "Oh, do you want some?" I murmur something while handing out the bar for him to eat. He puts it down before bending in and grabbing my waist, bringing me out from the kitchen and upstairs to his room. I take a glance around at the devastation, scowl at the prospect of having to mend everything and buy new furnishings. Gabriel enters past his door then kicks it shut right behind him before tossing me on the bed, so I have not much time to think about it.
He's floating over my body and locking my wrists unto the bed next to me in an instant. "What I'd want to bite into," he begins, his voice low and husky, sending shivers down my spine. "It's you, mi tesoro." I'm sure you'd be delicious" (My treasure.) In a toe-curling kiss, he crushes his lips to mine. I whimper in response to its ferocity, tangle my hands in his hair and softly tug on it. He groans and swipes his tongue over my bottom lip, forcing me to open my lips so he can battle with mine. Before going beneath my blouse and stroking my waist, his hands touch my naked legs.
My skin burns as his lips nipped and sucked down my neck then over my collarbone, and my body bends at his heated touch. It's a passionate, heavy kiss that makes me yearn for more. This guy can kiss like nobody's business. ''Gabriel.'' I gasp, causing him to silence me before rising up and yanking his shirt off, casually tossing it behind him. He removes his shoes then removing my black boots, which both thump loudly to the ground. As he licks his way up to my legs then meeting the arch of my neck, I swallow with anticipation.
"Amanda, being apart from you all week drove me insane."As my legs are wrapped around his waist, he murmurs, his voice guttural. 'Dios, todo lo que quiero hacer ahora es hacerte mío para siempre, pero esperaré." (God all I want to do right now is to make you mine forever but I will wait.)
"Couldn't you just say everything in English?" I moan in frustration since I have no understanding what he said. In answer, he grins down at me before falling down upon his back and pulls me onto his chest. But I'm struggling with my inner conflict, unsure whether I should pose the question that had been coming on my mind again for past several days. Oh, my goodness! I'll simply go for it; I've earned the right to know. "Could you elaborate on the term "mates"? Linda has a tattoo on her neck, but she won't say anything further about it save that that has something to do with mates." I grimace as I cross my arms over his stomach and lay my chin there.
