Chapter 61

He refuses to I sighed as I felt his body shake in my hands and grinned consolingly at onlookers who gave us strange stares. Gabriel, be calm; I wouldn't want you to be around him ever again. Gabriel, so calm down! The small stubble on his cheeks brushes against my flesh as I cup his face and say, "Okay." I'll stop speaking to him, "he said." You'll be returning home tonight. "What?! " What about Elizabeth? " He looks angryly down at me while I glare up at him. "Great, I'll miss the scheduled barbecue because of you." You are aware of my strong attachment to eating.
"It's been a week, Amanda," There are still two days! He spins me around before crouching so that our faces are close together. As I look into his eyes, everything around me turns into a jumble of vibrant gowns. "Mi amor, it's been too long." My hair is tucked behind my ear as he breathes. (My love.) "Really? It doesn't feel that way. His black suit's lapels catch my index fingers as I teasingly do so. He makes a playful growl, and I sigh with satisfaction that he is now at ease. We danced before leaving the ballroom, then ended up on one of the balconies.
I hold onto the rails and lean slightly forward as I marvel at the amazing vista. He can be heard approaching from behind, taking me in his arms. My hair is pulled back from one side as he groans and presses his nose against the curve of my neck. He hums in response as he kisses my shoulder and I hear him say, "Gabriel?" Are you aware of my promise to explain to you how to atone for my offense? Have you made a decision? I bit my lip as I spun round in his arms, then put my arms around his neck. He traces my lower lip using his thumb, sending shivers down my spine as a passionate growl reverberates through the calm night.
I lean forward till our lips are only inches apart, and then I say, "Yeah, you realize how you said it has been too long?" You're correct. He shakes his head at me as he stares down at my naked arms, which makes me shudder. It's so unfamiliar to me, yet I adore the response my body makes to him and the way he makes me feel. I quietly ask him to kiss me as I see his eyes get lustful and turn black. He gasps and then presses his lips against mine in a sweet and passionate kiss, saying, "You really have no clue how long I've been wanting to do that."
I realized how much I had missed him over the past week, so I drew him in closer. It's been over a week since an Alpha just couldn't leave. However, I am aware that it is time to return home with my powerful Alpha mate.

I make my way to the library to study while carrying books under my arm as I go through the school's corridors. Since I detest going to the gym, I'm coming up with whatever justification I can to skip a double time of exercise. My body was already aching and exhausted from getting hit more times than I could recall, and Gabriel made me wake up at what would be an unlawful hour so we could complete two hours of training. I'm dragged into a space from the back of my shirt as I turned round a corner, though. As I turn and scowl at Fredie Hill, Kaden's closest friend, my books fell to the floor as I scream. I push him as I massage the aching region on my neck where my shirt's collar almost strangled me. "Rude!" I frown as I observe his bashful smile in response. What do the two of you want? "We need your assistance." As he says this, Kaden throws a bunch of keys into the air and catches them. All of his pals are looking at me with anticipation as I wonder why they need my assistance. Kaden lifts his feet from the table and furrows his brow in my way. If it relates to schoolwork, "no,"
He crosses my arms while rolling his eyes. I would not really ask you for assistance with something I obviously do not do. To pull off a hoax, I'll need your assistance." "I don't have time, as much as I'd like to. Unfortunately, an English paper is calling my name." I sigh deeply and roll my eyes before picking up my books. "Okay, feel free to skip out on the biggest practical joke of the year". When I pause and turn to look at Kaden, he grinned maliciously.
What is the strategy? They grinned and pulled up a chair as soon as I succumbed. We soon find ourselves in the middle of an argument regarding tactics and specifics.

In two predetermined school halls, we are all set up in pairs. The principal will not be able to determine if it was us since Fredie was able to turn off the cameras that record every corridor. I signal for Kaden to join me as I look at my watch and move up to the corner. As I pull out my phone, I see that others are doing the same. I text my pals to tell them to remain behind when class finishes. I provide evasive responses when asked the cause in order to surprise them when they see the pandemonium that is going to break out in three... two.... and one.
The bell rings loudly, and moments later, the doors to the classrooms fling open. Students jump in terror when the several alarm clocks set on top of lockers all sound at once. I observe as they go outside into the corridor and spill the water-filled red Solo cups because they are focused on the commotion. People naturally begin to realize that it is a hoax and either decide to remain in their classes or walk outside and cause chaos. Later, when the timing is right and no one can claim it was us, we move into the middle. My pals which I had texted gave me a thumbs up then they started laughing as I made my way to the front of the crowd by blending in with the crowd. As Zach grinned and took off his shirt, Kelvin snatched two glasses and threw water on his companion, howling, only to learn that we were behind the whole affair. We all made the decision to remain behind after school to clean up instead of carrying out the practical joke. And for every harm done tomorrow, we want to contribute a certain amount of money.
What is happening here? Everyone halts and turns when a bellowing voice with a heavy accent yells. There is Principal Verdi, who is dressed in a sharp gray suit and has a very flushed face. He looks over the throng with narrowed eyes as if looking for someone, a deep frown carved into his face, until his eyes settle on me. I don't change my look as his glance darkens into an angry one before he raises his hand and points a fat finger at me. He continues to call out my name while standing behind us, joined by Kelvin, Kaden, and all of his pals. He makes a quick turn and starts walking down the corridor. Assuming we must follow, we roll our eyes and start walking toward his office. We are instructed to enter straight away as we arrive at the reception desk. Mr. Verdi enters his office and motions for us to shut the door while keeping his eyes on the documents in his front. The other lads wait behind us, expecting Kaden to speak before he and I took the chairs right by the desk. Why are just you seven of my pupils not soaked in water while practically all of my pupils are? He looks each of us in the eye and thinks dryly.
"Instead of shouting and rushing about like crazy birds, we were the last to exit the classrooms." Kaden says while pointing to his leather jacket in a bored manner. "Old guy, I didn't pay a portion of my paycheck to have this wrecked." If glances could kill, Kaden would've been six feet underneath the ground as Principal Verdi scowls at him. It would be wise for you, Mr. Reid, to treat others with respect. I'm working on it, sir. He responds by giving an imagined tip.
Kaden's dismissive tone makes me shake my head while Fredie giggles and coughs behind me. When Verdi turns to face the remainder of us, his piercing eyes studying us, I straighten. He grumbles his defeat and warns us that he'll be watching us closely before letting us go. There is no proof of who started the mayhem since Fredie had turned off the cameras. The lads smile as we are clear as we follow me out of the office. I give in and giggle after they dramatically beg me to cheer up before telling me what occurred twenty minutes earlier.
Some pupils' facial reactions were just amusing. "I'll be right back in class. Fun is over." Kaden lights a cigarette while grinning sarcastically, which I quickly steal from his hands and toss out the window. What the hell? He shouts, his amusingly widening eyes. Smoking is prohibited on school grounds. As I walk down the corridor, I sing. "What?! You now give a damn about this school and its pupils?" He softly shoves me, which causes me to kick his shin.
"Don't be such a baby, please. After school, you may resume your bad guy aspirations." When I notice the gleam of dissatisfaction in his blue eyes, I grin in delight.
I'm not a pretender. He seethes and locks me inside a headlock as I scream and repeatedly punch his arm.
"Yes...you...are!" I groan and attempt to kick his leg away from beneath him.
You little sh*t,
"Thomas! Reid! Bring yourselves to my office now!" Principal Verdi screams from behind us, and we sigh.
It turns out that when he stated he would be watching us closely, he wasn't joking.
