Chapter 11
Lucian had disappeared from sight two hours ago after pulling Montgomery behind him. I didn’t trust what I didn’t know yet. My gut was telling me that Montgomery wasn’t who he said he is. I glanced over at Knight.
“Something’s not right.” I said my jaw tense as I watched the party goers dance below us.
“Yeah,” he said, “Linc should have been back by now.”
I started to respond when my phone and Knights phone buzzed with an incoming message. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and opened the message from an unknown number. I watched in shock as a video started playing of Linc holding Montgomery down and humping his ass. Montgomery begging Linc to stop but he wasn’t stopping. My stomach ached to hit my own brother for what I was watching. There was no way.
Another message appeared below the video.
“Attempted rape is a crime against Omegas. You have until Monday at eight am to put your father behind bars or I will share this video to the entire school and to a judge and have your brother put away from Sexual Assault against an Omega.”
“What the fuck!” Knight yelled, turned and slamming his fist against the wall, leaving a massive hole. “Where the hell is Linc?”
I looked at the video again and saw that the video was filmed in his room. I grabbed Knight and pulled him toward that direction.
Linc’s door was locked but I didn’t give a fuck. I nodded to Knight get everyone the fuck out of here. He nodded before taking off downstairs.
“Everyone get the fuck out!” coming from his mouth and I could hear everyone scrambling to leave.
I waited with my hands clenched at my side, my teeth aching to rip out Linc’s throat.
Knight ran back upstairs just as I kicked in Linc’s door. I looked around trying to find Montgomery and only found Linc lying in the middle of the floor, out cold. I ran over and turned Linc over seeing the shiner from where his face hit the ground as if he didn’t even try to save himself from hitting the ground. I noticed his cup on the ground and nodded to it, “Put that in a bag, we may need it as evidence.”
Knight nodded as I picked Linc up and strode to the bathroom. He was about to get an ice bath, regardless of what was going on.
I put him in the tub and turned on his shower to cold. He jerked awake and came out swinging.
“What the hell man.” Then groaning grabbing his head, “Why the hell do I feel like I’ve got a hangover or went ten rounds with Mike Tyson?”
“Fuck that!” I yelled, pulling him up and throwing him against the wall. “What the hell did you do to our mate?”
“What do you mean. The last thing I remember I brought him in here to talk.”
I jerked my phone out and played the video watching as his face turned white. Like he couldn’t believe what he had done. I knew then that he had been drugged. The drug almost sending him into a rut. If he hadn’t blacked out when he did, he would have hurt our Omega.
“I wouldn’t.” he swears as he looks up at me. “I’m a lot of things that are wrong but I would never harm him. He’s our scent match, You have to believe me.”
Knight and I both nod then read the text to him.
“Fuck, someone is blackmailing us.” He leans his head against the wall and shakes it. “There’s no way we can get dad into jail by Monday even with all the evidence we have against him it would take months.”
We all sat on the ground in his bathroom, “I have a way.” I stated as calmly as I could.
They both looked over at me, looks of shock on their faces.
“How?” Knight asked.
“Why haven’t you brought this up before?” Linc asks.
“The evidence from where he raped Kara, and the murder of her and the baby. I saved everything. If we turn it in now he will be put away for the rape of a minor and her first degree murder for her and her unborn child. He will end up getting the death penalty when the rest of his crimes come to light. But that would rush him straight to prison by Monday, and with the evidence, its an open and shut case.”
Linc looked at me, “What about what we did?”
“The Gravins have agreed to cover for that with the law. But they are tired of his games as well. They want him either dead or out of the way. This is a win, win for us. But this also means we will have to step up and be the head of the pack. And Montgomery will need to be at our side as soon as possible to make it all work.”
They nodded, then both said, “Let’s do it.”
I typed out a message on my phone to an untraceable line, “Let the raven fly.” My code phrase to have my files sent directly to the Police Chief.
Now we wait.
