Chapter 51
Aroura
I blushed as my arousal exploded in the air. Well that answered that question. The doctors and I had discussed in depth rather or not I would ever perfume again. If I ever feel need again. I pushed my lips together in an embarrassed smile and walked out the door, up the stairs to my nest. It wasn’t like the one I had originally planned. This nest was filled with black and midnight blues. Deep purples. The walls and ceiling blending together into a midnight sky. Fairy lights that looked like stars imbedded in the ceiling that I had fixed with soft fabrics.
When I first started creating the new nest, I was terrified that I was going to destroy it like I had when Nash found me a year ago. But this time I took my time. I focused on textures and the way they made me feel. The new colors worked for me in ways that the pastels hadn’t before. I felt like I could do anything, be anything in this room.
I kneeled on the bed and threw myself onto the mountain of pillows and pulled out the hidden baggy with their clothes inside of it. I opened it and pressed my nose to it. Taking their scent into me. Breathing a sigh of relief as my anxiety of them coming here was washed away.
I closed the baggie and set it beside my pillow and laid back. I smiled when Kason crawled into the nest beside me and cuddled in. I looked up as Lena leaned over with Kara in her arms, “Here’s our sweet girl. She needs mommy time before we go.”
I nod and take her into my arms gently and curl her in between Kason and I. He gently brushed her hair with his fingers and sang to her, “You are my sunshine”, with his little voice. I breathed them in. Relaxing once more as I focused on my two children. The last year had been hard. But worth it to be able to create a world that they would be safe in. That they would never have to feel pain in. My bond throbbed as I started feeling my mates emotions again the closer, they got to us. I focused on the bond and picked at the individual strands sending love, and gratitude toward them. Because they had given me a chance to fight for myself.
Kason fell asleep with Kara’s hand in his own and I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep feeling the love that was sent back to me through the bond.
Lucian
We arrived at the estate exactly six hours from when Nash had sent the email. I nodded at the security that I could see. She had protection surrounding her and the kids.
I already could imagine this child as mine. I walked to the door with my brothers and opened it without knocking, seeing Lena standing in the doorway. I nodded at her, “where is she?” I growled.
I didn’t mean to come off harsh, but it had been a year since I woke up and found my omega missing. I needed to see her.
Lena nodded to the stairs, “second floor to the right, through the pack bedroom, she’s with Kason and Kara in her nest.”
I watched as Nash jerked and focused on her, “She’s nesting again?” he asks.
Lena bites her lips then nods, “Yeah, she has built a beautiful nest that will need to be recreated at home.
We nod and Knight takes the lead and jogs up the stairs. I glance around and notice the bags next to one room and look back at Lena, “those going with you and the kids back home?”
“Yes sir, we started packing what we could. Aroura advised us to take everything if possible since we wouldn’t be coming back here.
I nod grinning, as we then turn to the right and walk through a huge pack bedroom, that didn’t look like it had ever been touched.
I could scent her now, feel her completely in the bond. We walked around the corner and stopped at the sight of her nest. Then looking down into the pile of pillows I smiled as I saw her wrapped protectively around Kason and a small baby. Our new child, Kara.
“God she’s beautiful.” I whisper as I take in my omega sleeping.
Her eyes open at the sound of my voice, then she smiles, her eyes lighting up at the sight of us standing there, I finally feel like I can breathe again.
“Omega, you are in so much trouble.” Knight growls.
She smirks at him, “Alpha.”
He shakes his head and smirks, “Your Alpha and you can’t get out of trouble by playing cute.”
She shrugged her shoulder then looked down, “would you like to meet our daughter?”
We all nod our heads yes; we had been dying to meet her since we read that Aroura had made her a part of our family.
I drop to my knees and crawl into the nest, I see a plastic Ziploc baggie behind her with our clothes inside it and nod to the guys. Smirking, she had kept our scents around.
I reach her and the baby first. I press a kiss to her forehead, “you are lucky if I don’t put a tracker in your ass baby girl.”
She laughs and sets up slowly. Kissing me gently then lifting the baby and gently putting her in my arms.
I feel tears start to run down my cheek. How can something so small, so precious, so innocent be ours.
“I will burn the world to ashes for you baby girl. I’m your daddy Lucian.” I press a gentle kiss to her forehead and then gently pass her to my brothers. Smiling as they whispered to her. Each of us crying at how perfect she is.
I look over at Aroura, “we need to get them on the plane back home. We have a ten-man team outside ready to get them home and keep them safe until we get back.”
She took a deep breath and nodded, “We need to finish this. I want to be home with you. I want to build a life with you.”
I smirk, “you will get all that and more. But you are still in for a spanking from all of us.”
“Well, shit.” She whispers.
