Nash

When I woke up a few hours later, I could feel Aurora in the bond, awake and happy. Thank God. I don’t know what I would have done if she had died.
I grabbed my glasses and put them on before grabbing my jeans and a t-shirt and throwing them on before running downstairs.
“I’ve got a basket for you to take to Aurora, It has shampoo, conditioner, body wash, skin care, pajamas, and her favorite snacks. The hospital has a break room that has a microwave and refrigerator, so I have also packed some easy meals to warm up in to go containers. I’ve already prelabelled them with her alias while she’s in there.” Lena said as I opened the fridge and grabbed one of Aurora’s cold coffees. I opened it and started drinking it. No wonder she was obsessed with these fucking things they were delicious. She had different brands and flavors. I definitely planned to join her on these kicks. I walked over to Lena, pressing a kiss on her cheek.
“Thank you so much Lena, we will take it to her once Knight comes down.”
“I’m here.” He says from the doorway rubbing the sleep from his eyes. Sometimes its hard to remember we are so young when we have been through so much.
“Let’s get you guys some food before you leave.” She says fluttering her hands.
“No, don’t bother right now Lena, Lucian has messaged and says that Aurora is wanting stuffed crust pizza and cheese sticks right now.”
She laughs, “that’s my girl. I’ll order it now for you guys to pick it up on your way. Please give her hugs and kisses from all of us. Let her know Kason is good here until she comes back home.”
Knight presses a kiss to her cheek, “We are lucky to have you and Jaxon, thank you for all you do.” He says before pulling her into a hug, causing her to sob into his shirt.
“Sorry, I don’t mean to cry. But knowing that my girl was injured again, and I can’t be there is killing me inside. I love her like she’s my own child.”
I grin at her, “That’s why we are lucky to have you. The love you have for both her and Kason shines through in everything you do.”
She pulls out of Knights embrace, wiping her eyes and fluttering her hands, “Now go get to my girl, and take care of her.”
“Yes ma’am,” we say together as I grab the basket from the counter and walking out the door to our car.
After picking up the pizza we headed to the hospital.
I leaned my head back against the headrest and just focused on the bond. After seeing her fall to the ground, covered in her blood and the fake blood, I wanted to punish the world. I wanted to take on the world and protect her with everything I had but instead I rushed inside to take care of what was precious to her. To us.
Aroura is a million times more important than anyone else in this world.
I needed to hold her in my arms, I needed to feel that she was safe. And when she got back home, I need to make love to her, my sweet omega. My alpha was riding me hard thinking of the pain of what had happened to her. Terrified that I was about to lose her and having to focus on caring for Kason, then finding out information from that asshat, Jackson. Sending out some of our private enforcers to grab the good Judge and bring him to our basement so we could take him down as well.
I wouldn’t stop until everyone who was a threat to my girl was gone. Until I could be sure she and our baby and Kason were safe. Fuck anyone else.
We walked into the hospital and took the elevator to her floor, laying the extra pizza we had grabbed on the nurses station desk, waving as they said thank you before we walked to her room.
“Nash! Knight!” she exclaimed from her place on the bed.
“Hey sweet girl.” Knight said as he pressed a kiss to her forehead and handed the pizza to Lucian to start dishing it out.
After he moved, I climbed up beside her and pulled her gently into my arms. “Hey baby girl, how are you feeling? Pain level? Do I need to get you anything else?”
She turned in my arms and nuzzled my chest, scent marking me, “I’m okay, I promise. After we eat you can give me a shower and help me brush my hair. Tell me about what you found out and maybe talk to me about something other than my being shot.”
I looked at her my eyes darting between hers, “You’ll let me know if you hurt because I don’t want you to feel any pain.”
“Nash, I promise, it’s no more than I can handle, besides I don’t want to take anything that could possibly harm the baby.”
I nodded and watched as she ate her dinner, once she was done, Lucian and I helped her take a shower. The instructions to keeping the bandages dry came in handy and once we got her dried off and back into her room Knight brushed her hair and did a fancy French braid.
“Dude, since when do you braid hair?” I asked laughing.
He pushed me and blushed, “I wanted a way to be able to spend more time with our little omega, and if we had a daughter that I could do something for her too. So I’ve been watching videos online.”
Lucian laughed as Aroura turned in Knights arms and scent marked him, “I love that you did that for me. Thank you, Alpha.”
He growled low in his throat and pulled her closer to him and kissed her deeply before smacking his hand down against her ass.
“Don’t tease me while you are stuck in here,” he growled against her lips. “Don’t think for a minute that I wont have the guys block the door and I’ll pull your little panties down and spank your perfect ass before fucking you.”
