The guys groaned at the smell before Lucian grabbed drinks from the fridge, Nash grabbed plates from the cabinet and Knight grabbed the utensils and napkins. I placed the lasagna on the metal stand in the middle of the table that kept the heat from being placed directly on the wood. Lucian sat a water in front of each of us as Nash dished me out a plate first and kissed my forehead before walking to the other side of the table leaving the spot next to me open for Knight.
I looked over at Knight and he winked at me as he took his seat and we all sat in comfortable silence, just enjoying being together and being safe.
After I pushed my plate away, I looked up at my guys, “Thank you again.” I could feel my eyes starting to water and grabbed the napkin in front of me. “Today was terrifying but I knew you would come for me. I never doubted you.” I swallowed hard, “I know this started out as me wanted to get revenge for what you all did when we were kids, but I am so fucking thankful that fate chose you for me.”
Knight grabbed my hand and ran his thumb over my knuckles as he released soothing pheromones to calm my omega.

They laughed before Knight pulled me into his lap. I cuddled close pressing my nose against his throat where his scent was the strongest.
He held me tight as he whispered, “You will never have to thank us for saving you. You have to know that we all would burn this world to the ground for you and for Kason. You aren’t just our mate A; you have given us a reason. Our world is dark and crazy, but you are our light. I know I am being so fucking greedy when I say I want to keep your light all to ourselves. Sharing you with the world is just too much right now.”
