Chapter 100

The moment David steps out of the house, he catches his breath. He shouldn't have seen Vixen.

That was the last thing he had planned on doing and yet is the only thing that he remembers even when that is not only what he spoke about. He wonders how long she has been there.

David fears him to think that Vixen heard all of the things that Hunter told him how he was a coward and now they will not so much nothing. It hurt him so much as he wanted to pull a knife into his heart and shove whatever remained because his life was as desolate as it could be.

Truly nothing to show for. His hand is turned into a fist as he breathes heavily. sweat dripping upon his forehead as he stands in front of the state, still feeling the pain and everything that circulated after what Hunter said to him.

Hw looks back, and he remember the first time he caught them in each other's homes? How everything ended up.

Vixen left his hand first and perhaps yes, it is time for him to move on. But not by Hunter's presence, his presence continues to impound some kind of calamity. This sort of insecurity is what he never knew before.

Before Hunter even thought of stepping foot into Southland, David always felt so confident in his intelligence, strength and charms.

He always felt so intelligent snd like he was doing it all right. All until Hunter steps into his home and takes everything that he once held very dearly to his heart. It is a misfortune that he did not see coming.

How could he have stabbed Hunter anyway even when vixen was away from him? She was all that he had and all that he wanted and yet without thinking twice about it, Hunter chose to do that to him. He could not forget it.

He could not leave away from the pain, it is still registered somewhere so close. And every time he tried to muster courage, Hunter was always able to put him right back on his tracks to back into the hole the impounds with insecurity. It is disgusting place to be, he thinks.

And so even as desolate and angry, full of vengeance as he is. David steps away from the house. Nothing just life whatever make him do something that will bring chairs to victory. Even Hunter is someone that he wants to kill. He decides to not fight with him.

So, he decides not to pull the trigger that literally could set up set off at any moment as he begins to walk back towards the carriage that he packed far away from the meeting point. Once he is in, the rider begins to move the carriage begins to head back into his lonely world because of the way he visually could see Vixen running from one staircase to another.

David could imagine them sleeping together in the same bed, locked bodies and locked into each other's heart and souls. It was so imaginary that it also felt like it was true at the same time. This is something that he imagined so many times and yet he did not live up to that expectation.

All of it felt as if it really never happened and now the sweet memories of Vixen has been taken from him, now buried and he felt like he still has to endure this pain. He has to stay put up with her, Vixen is something he will never be able to get over from.

Yes, he has chosen to let them free of punishment and others but it is not so easy for him to turn back and move forward like nothing happened in the first place. It may be very, very easy for Hunter to do but if Hunter were to stand in his shoes and the same thing was to happen the way it happened to him.

It happened to him.

Tears begin to slip from his eyes as if this was the first time he was going through the pain. The dreams the feeling of being trapped by something you could not and then the joy you're feeling as if none of it ever happened when it was it.

Certainly, he found his way to fight through it to and brought to his attention what needed to be brought to his attention. His mother would never be able to understand that it wasn't just so easy to break off times with one person and she's another one love was it something that was be bought.

There was a time for grief and there was a time for enjoying. That joy never came and immediately as they are almost reaching the second half of the road by the diver who is supposed to lead him towards the castle until he pulls to a halt.

And the driver gets down immediately to make him aware of the situation.

"I'm sorry your highness, I did not see a girl moving in the dark." David nods his head and he gets off the carriage too. He realizes that it wasn't a big deal at the end of the day.

And he's about to race this back to the carriage when he sees the supposedly person moving across the road and he prayed and he can see that she's putting on a uniform that shows that she works in this castle.

He immediately calls her back. David runs towards the driver basically after David gets down from this carriage to meet her.

The girl stands in front of him with meek shoulders as she doesn't get to move her eyes. He can tell that she's a worker because she immediately know what type of carriage he is riding. David guesses that she has gone out to the castle in incognito.

It looks at her expecting some kind of explanation to at least explain why a she is even out the middle of the road, especially when servant had days to leave the castle and days to come into the castle.

Today, was clearly not a day for the servants to step out of the house. You work in the castle, don't you? He says to her and she nods his head slowly not looking at him.

"It is too late." Come, let me drop you back.

He says and the driver looks at him in shock. She doesn't understand what he means by that. To let a servant gave her in the same carriage rage with him.

It was such an abomination that the driver had to remind him that she's a servant of the castle.

"But your majesty, she is a…"

"I know that for goodness sake. You're my driver, what command must you I give you to step into the carriage."

The servant looks at the driver hoping that the driver will make him understand what dilemma he was really putting in but the dilemma knows better than to argue with his master as he walks towards the carriage and begins to move it.

David enters into the carriage as she follows him, he can see the knots in her pale face, touching and cowering eyes. He doesn't have an idea what she looks like but he can tell that she's in so much fear.

David didn't even have an idea why she feared him. It wasn't like he was a ruthless king or something. He did not do anything to anybody. He was not mischievous with servants and did not play stupidly.

He thought he was a good king, for all he knew at least that is what he thought.

"You don't need to be so afraid." He says her and tries too get a hold of her nerves. But it looks as if whatever he tells her at this moment will not make her difference.

"Come on."

He says to her and she nods her head seeing that she will not be afraid. Yet she's still holding her breath as she continues to follow him slowly and quietly until he gets to the castle.

Next, David comes out of the carriage as his mother begins to walk towards him immediately. And the moment she's about to reach him she sees the servants coming out of the carriage and she stops in our tracks as she looks at the moment she sees the girl.

She rushes to her without looking at him anymore and grabs the girl by the head. The girl screams and David steps in front of whatever his mother is doing and pushes a hand off .

What do you think you're doing mother? David asks and his mother feels as if this is the worst question he could ever ask her.

She'll be busy setting up the fact that he has allowed a woman who is a servant sit in his carriage. It is an utter disgrace at first sight!
