Chapter 103

David hears back to the castle, several men are waiting for him especially now that Hunter has decided not to show his face in court. In fact, it was the most audacious thing Hunter has done since he has known him because if there's one thing.

Hunter always did try to keep a positive look on the way things in the castle are done and all of that but now, Hunter doesn't really care anymore, he is doing has he wishes, and perhaps nothing can stop him from doing that long gone train.

Right now, he does not care anymore, and he is not willing to show efforts has a General, one thing he never thought Hunter would do will is neglect his position. David would not do that either just because of Hunter.

And right before he left Hunter yesterday, he made sure that he pulls himself as a threat to everyone that was going to fight his way around. So, these council members who have been under his roof for a very long time decide to follow the train just after Hunter came back to Southland, they have chosen to pretend as if they do not know is truly under the authority. And to remind them of that, he has immediately chosen new representatives to take on the position of these council men who felt as if they had no control and responsibility to the position they have in government.

This is not just a threat to them, but it's easy solution, wiping them out and showing that he and only he at the last consort was king, he did not want to move on to this measure because these men have worked with him for a long time.

David realizes that if he has put up with him for such a long time, they were even supposed to come up with such in indefinite manner to try to torment him. And backing Hunter, this is something they shouldn't have done.

And so as a lesson for that, he will replace all the council members who sided with Hunter and they have been sent to take over. The council members begin to file into the room.

Words have passed by now about how the king has fired most men in government, and he doesn't even care if they know about it. All he knows is that he is going to say things right. And even if he has to fire Hunter, he will do the same thing.

No one at all would be able to level him down or make him feel insecure about what he has. Yes, perhaps fight for the throne, just the way Hunter did. But he was prince. He had legitimate rise to the throne. It was his birthright.

And whether Hunter had a great amount of pain in securing his obligation to the throne years ago did not have anything to do with him for he was not his father, and neither was he the one that puts things into place.

So what was the essence of stepping back and allowing hunter to do as he wanted to do definitely not choose to back down from whatever this is. And so as he steps into his throne, the new men he has put in charge enters into the room immediately. And they all sit together.

He smiles as he sees the way petition and manuscripts are pulled up on his table.

It seems like his council members have began to receive what he had sent to them, and he smile seeing how he was able to set authorities into place. But now it's definitely was too late for them because the seat has been taken and am the new people would obey Him and obey his authority and whatever it is.

The king takes his seat and the meeting starts, in fact it was the best meeting he has ever had has because he did not have time interrogating the past members.

He was not a child that did not know how to plan authority, he did need people to always back him up and at the end of the day.

He is still the one sitting at the top of the throne and these men all answer to him. The deal is to understand that he was king and there's nothing he couldn't change in such aspect. In fact, it is better than expected and he chooses for this to last longer term. his bodyguard comes in immediately explained to him that Hunter has stepped into the room throne room, and he nods his head quietly, telling his bodyguard not to stop Hunter from coming in, at least he did not fire hunter from his job and met him keep his rights to come in and claim his seat?

Hunter steps into the throne room, and everyone turns his attention to Hunter. And David doesn't say anything about Hunter, who should at least apologize for stepping into the throne room so late.

"Well, I see you are here." I thought you were still taking some vacation on your job. I didn't think you would take responsibility so fast. I mean, something you preach about but you never do it. David says and he embarrasses Hunter in front of the Council.

You mean this council? This council is not worth my responsibility but I guess I've chosen the table before I even had my saying and so I have to do what I have to do anyway. Hunter says as a retort that is clearly a blow back to David was smirks bis face has hunter goes to take his seat.

He begins to see that the council member in the King's court gas changed, from the military members who he did not recognize. There's absolutely a ton og people in here that he knows but never thought he would meet them in the court and now he looks back at David.

Oh I see that you have been acquainted with the council members. And if you can remember, all of the council members are not here because they chose to lose their response and presence because of the quarrel between the both of us.

And I need subjects who would follow me and those who I can command, not subjects who would choose another person as Commander when I clearly sit on the throne. He says and expects some kind of detrimental damage but Hunter still looks unfazed like whatever David said does not affects him in any way.

He literally just listened to David and Today we'll continue to move on from where we stopped.

Hunter still attended the meeting in the room and David is quite shocked because he expected Hunter to be wrathful at this decision because first things first.

David has never really showcased his power in front of hunter. He has always allowed hunter to do as you pleased because he thought of all the things Hunter has gone through. And even when Hunter still took Vixen away from him, it is not true as he wanted to be rude and ire to Hunter because David felt as if Hunter has really gave part of his life for Southland.

So the fact that Hunter isn't fazed by whatever he has just done yet to showcase his power, makes David realize that Hunter is definitely not even going after the throne. And this is quite the astonishment because this is not what he thought and this is neither what his mother told him about all his life.

The queen dowager who is his mother had always made him feel as if, Hunter is someone who was waiting for David to lose the throne but all Hunter e we did was fight and protect the nation.

Yes, it shows that they have there differences presently because of leaks, but when it comes to Southland. Hunter has always taken it with priority and that is quite shocking to David.

He knew all of this before and yet he still allowed his mother cloud his judgements with her wits, why did she let him see something that wasn't true at all for so long. Hunter is the backbone of the nation and he has always been.


"Well, let's get ready for today's agenda." David says as he looks at his step brother and hopes that Perhaps, they can move on from their issues and they do not have to be in same place they were in it.

It sounds like something impossible but all of a sudden He has quite the ability to take a fresh start, to basically turn the page and ever look back.

It seems like the hardest thing to do coming from all the tears and heartbreak he won't through but it is a step at a time, he tells himself hoping that he will listen to his advice and his emotions.

David smiles seeing how he is overcoming things.
