Chapter 109

She looks at King with a second eyes open and he does not realize that she's staring at him. As he is interested in looking at the flowers like he has never seen a flower before. The fact that he told her that he came here to pick, pick up some flowers for the queen dowager did look like something that wasn't actually true. But what did she care about? What she was supposed to tell him that she thinks that was something he would never do.

She continues cleaning the flowers that she has come here to clean as a part time job as she always did when earlier but she was on her day off from the palace. For a moment, she thought that the king actually came here to see her, which is something stupid for her to think about at the end of the day, because there was so much correlation between the both of them for her to think that he came here for her.

So, she bites her lips regret, as she decides to stop going near the thought of him, only for him to come here to be returned. What the hell is wrong with her life? Few days ago, she would have never thought of herself being such close acquaintance with the King.

And now here she was thinking that he was thinking about this, was some kind of game that even she didn't know she was playing. After arranging the sectors of flowers, she goes into the shop, tell the woman that she's don't allow collects her wages for that.

As she steps out. She puts the coins in her pocket, and she finds that the king is still searching for some flowers. She diligently begins to walk away with knowing that she will not stand here to try to mix up the conversation with him so has she will not get something wrong again.

She thinks as she begins to walk away bodily and now when she's almost able to get out of his way already. And he looks at her going already.


Are you going? He says to her and she nods her head slowly, wondering if he has been watching her and waiting for her to leave.

Were you able to pick any flowers? She asked him and he looks at flowers, he says and she squints wondering why he is asking her that?

Did he not come here to pick flowers?

You came here for the flowers, didn't you? She says to him, and then he claps his hand as if he just comes to his mind.

"I actually came here to do just that, I'll pick up flowers later on." He says finding something to use to talk about her.

"Oh, yes. I don't think my mother's taste is in all of this." So I prefer not to pick anyone. He says to her and she looks at him.

I see. So where are you going? He says to her and she looks at him once again.

Why is he so eager to be in her space? She says and he wonders if she can answer.

It's my day off, your majesty. She says and he is wondering maybe she would decide to leave. Hasn't he realized the today is the day that she gets to do whatever she wants without being acquainted with anyone for the palace.

Yes, exactly. You should be doing something better, come let me buy you snacks. He says to her as he begins to walk away when she looks at him as he walks away.

Eliana is wondering why exactly he is asking her to tag along. Does he not understand what she's trying to say? She thinks and she begins to follow him.

He gets to the first shop and he actually buys more snacks that she can eat. This is all that she has always wanted to eat if not that she had to save up. And she did do well pretending that she was not really interested in it but at the end of the day, the savory feeling of the pastries and its smokiness of everything.

And every snack that he bought for her brought her alive back to an axis that she did not know existed. She felt so happy eating all of those snacks and she felt like she could literally do anything after eating gazillions of snacks for the both of them.

He begins to walk across her when the day's already drawing to a close, the weather has become so lovely suddenly as it was. She sees the tree where she normally goes to spend half of her day in and she forgets that the king is following behind and she rushes towards the tree and sits close to it resting my head on the trunk.


The King comes close to her side and just by then she remembers that the man is actually still following her.

She is licking the popsicles he has gotten for her as she looks at him slowly and then she takes her eyes off him not trying to make herself look silly like she was really staring at him.

He sits close to and there is a first moment of silence between the both of them. At first, it is awkward for her to be sitting near the king and being so quiet at all but then she begins to think about it.

There is enjoyment as she is sitting down and watching the skies deteriorate into something cooler and aesthetic. Some children who are across the field, begin to scream and run along and it catches their attention, and they end up looking at each other.

The moment David looks at her face, he finds it very hard to remove his eyes from her and she has to force her face to stay.

"So this is what you do on your day off." He says to her, and she nods her head slowly replying to this question, and then he smiles.

If this is what you do on the day of, why was it necessary for you to take a day off when it wasn't your time for a day off yet. He says to her and she puts her fingers together seeing how he is asking a question that she never thought she'd be answering.

"You do not have to answer me if it's uncomfortable for you." The King says and she looks at him.

"Thank you, your majesty." She replies.

"You can call me, David when it's just the both of us. "He says.

"I wouldn't dare lie." She says and he looks at her.

"I command you to call me David when I'm not in the castle." He says to her and she takes a moment before she replies as she can see waiting for an answer so she ends up giving another try.

"As you wish, your majesty." She says and then he looks at her.

What did you just say? He asks and she changes what she said earlier.

"I understand, David." She says and believes it is the most awkward situation she has to be put in.

How could she call the king by his name? It's getting late and she should head to the castle now. She says to him as she stands up from the grass.

She looks at him hoping he would stand but he is not ready to get up to and she begins to proceed. She doesn't do anything because see that she owes to him bye accountability of being king.

" Then I will leave now." She says

He grabs on to the hem of her dress as he looks at her, a part of it her is filled with so much surprise on the issue at hand and the second side of remembers that plan she came up with.

You know the plan to take herself away from this life fail and jump into the life of gold, she thinks about it immediately and wonder if she can actually better L

She doesn't pursue it any further. She has her eyes glued to the hem of her dress wondering when he was going to take his hands off her.

"Please, don't go." He says to her and she slowly goes back onto the ground and sits near him.

The King slowly rested his head on her shoulder as she closes his eyes and begins to take a nap. She wonders what all of this is all about.

A part of her is scared at this moment If she is to continue to pull on such an affair.

She's thinking a lot of things and trying to put them out of it because she's tired about of her mind. She closes her eyes too, and rests her head on his head. Eliana loves the comfort and she closes her eyes to invite sleep.
