Chapter 14

vixen enters into the carriage. As she looks back, she can see that Hunter is right behind and also standing behind has David is closer to her carriage, and he cannot simply leave her hand alone.
She enters into the carriage and the door closes behind. She feels lovely. In fact, she cannot begin to put a name on her emotion and how delighted she feels to know that she has literally has two men trapped in something unseen, yet very alive. And it seems to be working perfectly as she didn't even expect it to. This wasn't a plan.
She was supposed to make Hunter jealous or anything but she wanted to use this to get back to a bead. When it came to the forest to see her she could see something delightful in his eyes. We have not known a woman and as much as she hasn't known a man that doesn't mean she hasn't gotten teachings in how to please one all her life.
She has been told to know how to please the king and how to provide for him benefit in physically, emotionally and in all of that aspect. And so she used its own advantage should have waited for him but she chose to because she wanted him to see some sort of naivety or was it senselessness in how she started to use that to join clothes and now she's about to go with this adventurous, witty and kind of irresponsible.
And after making such a utterance towards him, she feels as if part of het work has been done. Now she just has to wait and watch him as he falls into something she calls a delightful fleeting, and she's not doing this like trap him in some unforeseen circumstances just using this so she could get her bead back.
That is her primary intention. And perhaps, what happened between them in the storage room was not a bad idea. But then it was unexpected at the end of the day. anger against lady Zelda seriously got the best of her. And that was what made her come out in such a way and even drag his mother into such dilemma.
So it's bothered her.
Something bothers vixen and it is due to the fact that what she's doing is somehow slightly affecting her. She places her hand upon her chest as the carriage begins to move. And she feels her heart race. It's beating, it's not supposed to beat as it is, but yet it is and she doesn't get the emotion that surrounds it.
It feels as if she is falling into something that she's intentionally setting, like entering into a trap that you yourself set, Vixen is supposed to be aware of all the loopholes, she know all of the code, all of the hiding places and yet she walks into it like she's uninformed.
It doesn't sit right it doesn't make any sense. And although she chooses to push it away like it is nothing.
She is not that kind of woman and they are not worthy of attention on none of that. But yet it doesn't leave us so easily. Perhaps when she rests, it would get away from her.
Vixen gets into the house and the first thing she does is walk upstairs to her room.
Her Father, Richard Dounty has already taken to his bed to have his rest and she knows that it is time for her to do the same. She finds Emerald waiting at the door of her room and the first thing she does is hug the girl because this is not the first time that the Mistress will come and try to make such threat towards her.
It is not the first time Vixen is standing on hymen s nature. The woman of the house is stronger in such situations. She knows that the woman had such power to harm a servant and is until Vice was strong enough which is by becoming queen, she may never have enough power to set ourselves free.
Especially when her step mother came from a very powerful family. Vixen enters into the room and Emerald her as vixens steps out of our clothes still thinking of everything that happened. And not just Hunter but David too.
David loves her. She sees it every time in his eyes his eyes tells her more than a heart even tells her every time she sees this is unfailingly gets even bigger, the all in his eyes as if he has not seen her before. It gets bigger each and every single time and she knows l, she takes a deep breath she steps into the warm water and her nerves, all of those things that disturb her gets eased.
She eases all of it as she closes her eyes and without even knowing, she whispers his name.
"Hunter." as she taps her fingers upon the bathtub and emerald looks at her in surprise.
What did you say? Emerald says and Vixen opens her eyes and looks at her maid.
Huh?
Vixen says not even aware of what she has spoken from my mouth.
"Nothing my lady, emerald says and keeps it to herself." If her lady doesn't remember that it was never said.
Do I massage your body lady? It has been a very long day.
Yes, sure. She says and Emerald begins to massage the ladies shoulders and Vixen closes her eyes and smiles after having a bath for about twenty minutes.
Vixen steps right out of the shower and heads into the room where she's putting on a garment on our body and ready to go to bed.
"I would like a glass of milk." She says to Emerald, who obeys and rushes to go get it. Vixen sits on the bed and she begins to tie her hair with a rope and she smiles.
For some reasons, the memory of Hunter looking lost at her advances makes her delighted. Emerald comes back with the glass of milk in literally no time as she rushes to give it to vixen.
"Emerald, you can go to bed now I'm fine on my own." She says and Emerald smile in appreciation as she bows and she exits the room.
Vixen closes her eyes and she knows that she needs to have a walk. Then she exits her room and strides round the halls and corridors which have become quiet and dim due to the fact that then night has drawn.
And so she steps into the landscape of the estate that is richly and vastly built. It was one of the finest homes in the whole of Southland.
That is if it was not the finest, it could be compared to the castle because of all of its Maleficent and enormous in all ways. It was perfect for queens and kings to live in.
And for vixen, the one was about to become bride of Scotland. She begins to walk across the landscape and the breeze pushes through every sore in her bones and can feel it and she smiles.
Nature really has a good way of bringing her back to life and making a real difference. At least she should enjoy her life before she becomes queen.
She is still not ready for the fact that she was going to become queen honestly, she could never be ready for it is not simple and the responsibilities that catered around these but the fact that she was going to be married to the one who everyone always put her together with when they were younger individuals was no surprise.
When she was much younger, Vixen and King David were matched up with whenever they went for trade fairs when females and males were being partnered up with each other.
Her partner was always King David. She was never given a chance to go out of that relationship and out of that commitment that she has have did not make. And it has always been a blessing and a curse.
It has been more of a curse than a blessing because now she literally did not cater around to others. There was a good fine line between the way a queen was supposed to act and the way vixen, the daughter of the advisor was supposed to act.
A good fine line. And being a child of ten years old, she could not draw that line. In fact she could not see it.
"No one remembered that she was a girl who is allowed to live like a girl." A normal one.
When Vixen began to become a lady, he began to restrict her and make all of this commitment that she wasn t ready for.
Her life must have been one to have to every other woman but a part of her hates David for stealing her teenage life. Vixen also hates herself for not having the chance to be able to live like a free girl with many chances and then realizing it after.
She also hates her father and the old king, all who had a hand in the betrothal.
Vixen definitely wants to get her revenge in any way she can get it but she cannot harm herself or the king at the end of the day.
She s like a coward because never as she wants to be able to pull off such a decision but she can t do it.
And now that she finds herself in a close triangle with two men playing a silly game she feels as if she can pose such a trick at the end of the day.
