Chapter 13

Part of Hunter is full of disbelief of what he has seen. He doesn't know how to put together the meaning behind it both he knows he is that he saw correctly, what he thinks is so and this is the most strange thing he has ever witnessed before.
Vixen is looking at him and she has the biggest confusion on her face. She cannot understand it and how exactly she cannot understand herself? How exactly does she switch from being the king s bride to be in close presence with this man that she felt annoyed at the depth of her spine and even after knowing all that she has wanted to say.
He still doesn't resign to her, Hunter is restricting her from doing that which she wants to do. The part of her that wants to break his heart. She wants to use it and toss it away for exact punishment for taking her Brady. At least she will get away with this when she sees the look on his face at her.
It is something she enjoys before her life begins to drain slowly away from the absence of the bead, the bead does return breath to her lungs since a very long time ago. It had to be in his hands.
Among any other person but this general Hunter man, why him of all people she thought to herself as she looks at him.
So are you saying that I'm not your type but Lady Zelda his? Vixen says and he looks at her wondering what she's talking about.
There is silence between the both of them at first of all, Hunter cannot crack the code of what she has just said. Wendy wing close positions together. And now she's talking about him in relation with the lady Zelda. He doesn't understand.
"I don't know what you're talking about." And more than that, I know we need to leave this place right now before anything happens or before someone finds us here.
She is pleased that the lights have gone off and from the atmosphere, it is already so dark that she doesn't even care anymore. She squeezes her face as she realizes that he is not buying into our temptations, which is what she wanted from the very beginning.
For no reasons will she leave being the king's bride to be with an illegitimate son, but she loves to play the game. The more she tapped on his strings, the know she wanted to play this game until this happened. All of a sudden, she feels more interested in playing this game and twisting his mind to see the way his eyes move when she said she was ready to leave the king.
Vice can tell that he did not think himself worthy enough to be loved by her which is what she wanted to target from the very beginning. She was the least interested in him. At the end of it all she was of high status over anything. Although, she was not in love with the king, the status of being queen is one she could fall in love with.
Vixen begins to be get up as she realizes that there is silence now.
"I cannot hear the sounds of the servants anymore." She says as he uses his hand to stop her from moving.
What is it? Are you thinking of my offer now? She says and he looks at her with disdain.
Do you have no manners at all or dignity? Why do you keep lusting?
When he says this, she literally wants to break into laughter and she feels as if he is the last person they should even be staying that. it was him that had no dignity, she saw the way he swallowed saliva whenever she was in close contact especially when they had to bring their bodies together.
She saw the way he flinched. A man of his age has never been enclosed or quieter to such a woman in such a degree it was laughable. She likes to tap onto the string and pull it and see how much longer he could hold on for.
After he says that she simply smiles it is the most laughable thing she thinks especially when he was amateur in this game
Dignity? Coming from you? You think that I lust after you? She says and smiles.
"What exactly do I see in your eyes every time you look at me, you are the one who made me sleep my undergarments for a touch of body heat and now you speak of lusting after you?" General Hunter please do not get this twisted at all.
I do not lust after you.
Okay?You are the one who has been lusting after me. You have refused to give me my bead for the essence of what? So you could see me over and over again is indebted. I'm sure you will not confess.
"Of course, In your mind you value legitimacy and all of those things that you please yourself with all of those words inside did not make any sense in real time." But if you believe it then continue to believe it.
What I believe right now is that I need to get right out of here, besides the queen, my future is steady and powerful.
"Yes. Thank you for reminding me once again that I am to be married to King David who is future King of Southland." And it is a bright one. Vixen says as she begins to head to the door.
I said hold on. He says to her and she stares back at him as steps right in front of her to observe as he places his hands upon the door and tries to listen to anything that is going on outside and after listening for a good amount of time.
He opens it and takes a peek outside. Then he signals her by using his hand to beckon her to come closer. After she sees that she follows in suit and she comes out of the door and stands in the passageway where she looks right on front.
And the moment she's in the passage, she hears a voice.
Vixen! There you are. King David says and she turns to him. She cannot believe that just in time were Hunter was about to come out.
The king literally pops right in front of her without prior notice. And thank God that Hunter hasn't stepped out of the room yet. If not, though, they've been caught in such a dilemma.
The moment this happens, she takes a huge gasp of fresh air in fear that he must have already seen on Hunter but he hadn't seen him yet.
And so after this happens, she steps right in front of him. And then he draws her body closer to his as he pleases a kiss upon her cheek.
"I've missed you so much ,he says and Hunter is right behind the door is not able to jam the door to close it because he's in fear of whether they would hear him and so he leaves the door opened slightly."
It is enough to hear the conversation they're having but not enough to be seen.
"Oh, David, your mother." Vixen says.
"My mother is asleep already. The activities of the castle must have been a bit too much but gladly, you will come here to take upon the obligations for all will be well."
"My love, let me kiss you." He says and Vixen looks at him. She cannot believe that this is going on when exactly to their own tears right behind that. She doesn't even know what to say. She has been told that this man should be the one she was in love with.
He is the king and she should be esteemed to marry such a presence but yet she feels as if she is more than worthy in fact to worthy to be screened that she sometimes often feels safe is not matching to esteem. But yet she feels as if this is the right time to let this general Hunter just know how much men as eg David craved for her presence so much.
"You know that once we kiss you know we won't be able to stop each other." She says making sure our voice depends into something sensual and exotic enough for Hunter to hear.
"I know that we ought to be married and...."
"And that is the excuse." She says to him but yet she draws herself in closer and clutches onto his right at the back of the door.
Hunter is listening once again.
"I told my mother that I want us to get married faster than they said we are supposed to be. She says you have a lot to learn and I told her that there is no other way you would learn it by being Queen yourself." I cannot wait to marry you to start a family with you to kiss you every morning.
When I wake up. He says and he begins to trace her lips with his fingers brushing it slightly and pushing her against the wall.
"Let me kiss you." He says and Vixen knows at this point that she cannot push him away any further and so she invites him in and kisses her with courage.
After Hunter has to hear the sounds of their kisses, she slightly pushes him again. And Hunter hears the moan of King David and he wonders how long they're going to stand at the side of the doorway he can literally hear everything that is going on between them.
"My lord, I have to meet with my father now." He will be worried about man I do not want him to think the worst of me. As you see I am untouched, my dignity still intact. She says to him and he remembers that her father would be somewhere waiting.
He places one last kiss upon her lips as he stares at her eyes as if he doesn't want her to go.
"Of course, anything for you, my love." He says to her and she nods with him as they exit the corridor.
