Chapter 28

The king cannot believe what he has heard from her. He watches her walk away from him and he cannot believe that he is losing vixen, the woman whom he has loved all of his life. It feels like a joke to him. He hopes he just had the wrong thing.
Perhaps she's just angry with him. He says and he whispers to himself and Hunter hears it.
" It cannot be." The king says as he watches her and he is about to follow our inside, where Hunter pulls him.
" I don't think you should do that. When David hears that and he pushes him away. It seems like you forget and I'm not just your brother but king of southland. David says to hunter.
He has the arrogance in his voice and Hunter realizes that the king is perhaps the same thing as his mother.
" I hope you've not forgotten that. I'm also a prince of Southland. Hunter says to him and this is the first time HE is actually carrying on the reality status OF his life. He has felt as if he was undeserving of it. People made it seem as if a bastard an illegitimate child had nothing to do with royalty but the truth is that he still had kings blood flowing in his veins and he had every right to contend or touch that reality part of him when he says that David is surprised he has never had Hunter tag on to that power before.
And because he's saying this he wonders what the relationship between Vixen and Hunter is all about for him to make such a demand and opposition, David deems it to be.
Whoa, my bad I seem to have forgotten. David replies him and Hunter steps back. What is your relationship with Vixen? He says to him and Hunter stops walking away.
Perhaps this is the time to pour salt on the wound. Hunter thinks but he doesn't want it to seem very careless. He doesn't want to be done with wicked intent. He wants it to be smooth going so that whatever Lord Nathan has to say would sound like a joke to anyone else who hears it.
"There is nothing else going on between I and Vixen we have met each other a few times spoke to each other." We have been of close acquaintances and I know that she's not interested in you. And I think I have every right to put myself out there to her. Hunter replies and David begins to laugh as he looks at Hunter.
"I see, you have been away from social territory for so long that you do not know how a relationship works any longer." She's mine. Not anyone else. No man in the whole of Southland will ever make a claim on Vixen because she's mine. Not even you brother. So perhaps, you've misread what vixen has said right now, but I will not let her go away from me so easily.
Since many years ago, we have been together. David says and he means it.
" I don't think you understand but I do not care if you are needy vixen have been together for centuries." She said no to you. She's not married to you she's her own woman and you recognize that? Perhaps just she has said that you should know peace. Hunter replies David and his brows furrows as he has disdain on his face and voice filled with anger.
He puts his hand in a fist and tries to hit Haunter who waves his punch in a flash and instead pushes David into the ground. It is quite a shame and if anyone saw it they would simply laugh at the Kings. The king stands from his feet as he realizes that Hunter has put into its place, but he is not ready to step away from the battle so easily.
Even when he knew the answer was so much stronger than him he still felt as if he could fight his way out of this matter and so he comes in front of him again and tries to try again. Hunter waves it again and in order to push him this time, he bends his hand to the back, which brings a yell out of David's mouth as he pushes him to the ground once again.
David is reluctant to let Hunter go. Perhaps he wants to prove some kind of thing that isn't present in whatever was doing right now. And so is about to come and start it all over once again and Hunter gives him a punch this time to bring him to a stop. Stop it you will get yourself hurt the antithesis to the king has. He watches David wipe his bloody nose and it seems as if that sends the right message because after that punch, David's has chosen to calm down.
Hunter looks at him once again, as he begins to walk away from the scene. David has a treacherous look on his face. He does not even care if Hunter would beat him to a pup or has done something important to for the rule of Southland.
This claim that Hunter triea to take from him will not allow him to see the good things Hunter has one. And perhaps this is what he wanted. He wanted Hunter to be a threat to him. And by Hunter reacting and punching him, he has made something out of it. He stands on his feet after wiping the blood from his face. If only it was able to put a punch Hunter s face too, he would have been victorious, but he knows himself that he could not battle against Hunter.
It was a stupid defeat. It was something he shouldn't have even gone into it in the first place. And as it stands in front of Vixens and the rest, he looks at her room window and he can see that the lights are on. He wants to see her so badly and more than that, he wants her to be his wife. And because he knows that he is on the verge of losing her.
He will have to bring the marriage to a close faster before anyone finds out that she has tried to break it off. They will not let it happen. Not vixen. She wasn't anyone else to take. She was only his and he has made sure of that. Since many years, his mother has been one of the people who has advised him to go for another woman but even his mother could not allow him take his claim off her, many times his mother has tried to introduce him to another woman we might be interested in annyone.
He didn't make anything out of it. He only has eyes for Vixen and if the presence of Hunter proved to be negative to that part of his territory then he was going to do anything and everything in his power to put on time in this place, or was haunted anyways, perhaps on term. He was the first one to be born in Southland but he was still an illegitimate one.
He is king. He could literally do everything and anything in his power to make sure that Hunter disappeared, no matter what anyone would say or bring to him. After wiping the second drop of blood that catered around his nose, David looks at the blood.
And he knows all he has to do now, that's in cost is to become bigger than it is. No one saw what happened here. Whatever he told everyone is that everyone would put into belief. And all he needed to say at this point was the hunter beats him into a pup. He would literally tell this to his mother and she would take it personally.
What he also knew was that his mother had a certain hatred for he and his mother and this was quite enough to make an trigger that he wanted especially his mother who was born a servant wife.
David begins to make his way out of a estate back to the castle. It was a good thing that he bought no servants along with him, especially when the reason for his visit was to do something that shouldn't be known for anyone.
Vixen makes him literally burn with so much passion. And they wanted to get a taste from it even into if it was just for a second. And when he was coming out from the estate, he saw Hunter and Vixen walking together and his jealousy came to a peak and he could not hold the suspicions anymore.
This was the second time he was finding them together. And there was simply no reason why they should stand and side by side with each other, he read a comfortable silence between the both of them.
