Vixen is dumbfounded. She's not supposed to be dumbfounded. It's not supposed to amaze her in such a way it has amazed her but she cannot help but look at him and feel the need to hear what he said again.
This is someone she has planned to make his life miserable, it doesn't just make any sense that he had it all along, and yet he chose not to give it to her.
She doesn't know what to say, she stretches her hand towards him and collected from him.
She looks at him but she does not find what she used to see whenever she looked at him. The normalcy she used to find on his face was his strictness and all of those respect that he puts out there, but all of a sudden, she was finding other parts to this man as she hated her heart for trying to know more about it.
The moment he places it upon her hand, he works away from her and she watches him as he Leave and Susan taps her shoulder.
"I thought you said that she he threw it away." Susan says and Vixen looks at her.
"Yes, I thought so too. " She says as she puts on the bead and she cannot even begin to explain how she feels. She thought she has lost the bead forever. For, every time she sent her servants to go in search of the bead but they came back with nothing.
But not it shows that he did not throw it away. It was with him all of this while and yet he made it seem as if he had thrown it away. Why did he do that? Vixen thinks as she places her hand upon the bead and the moment she raises her eyes in order to find him.
She sees the king walking towards her and she readies herself as she finds him coming. Vixen is wearing one of the gowns that Benedict has instructed to be designed for her. It looks like one that is already and she can see the carriage of Benedict coming from behind as she looks around.
The king opens his arm as he places a kiss just behind the ear. And she smiles awkwardly as she curtsies, holding the tip of her gown.
"Your majesty." She says and she smiles and then he takes her hand.
"Oh, I see you got your beat back." I saw Hunter give it to you just now. David says and she is shocked for the first few moments.
She doesn't know what to say in reply to what he has to say. Vixen thinks before she speaks because the king is one who is smart and over calculative.
"Yes. Yes, the last time I think I misplaced it." Then he found it and he was able to know it was mine when he asked and everyone could tell that it was mine since I worried all the time.
"Yes, he told me it was your mother that gave you." The king reminds her of what she told him about the bead.
Yes, I did. Vixen says remembering the lie that she told him.
How are you this morning? She says to him as they begin to walk into the surroundings where all the royals are situated.
"I've been awake all night just thinking of the people that I'm about to meet, the Arabs lords." king David says as they capture everyone s eyes.
"I've heard so many things about them and honestly, I cannot wait to see them." How about you? How did you sleep? He asks her.
"Very well, your majesty." Vixen replies him.
I couldn't stop thinking about you and us, our life together. He says and she looks at him.
What's about me? Vixen asks.
"When I kissed you yesterday, it was so amazing and I cannot wait to have you as my wife." Vixen, every day feels like a century longer and I want to be with you in your hands staring into your eyes everyday being your husband. I want to hold you tight close to me, forever.
He says and she looks at him because this is not the first time he is confessing his love you yours, she nods her head.
Yes, Your Majesty.
So you agree with me? He says and in this moment she doesn't know what to say. She felt she had to agree with everything he was supposed to say because she didn't know what to add or remove for it.
Yes, of course. She says and he looks at them.
"Then why don't we fast forward our wedding." My mother wants to have it in three months thinking that you are not enough for the throne yet but I feel as if it would be better for you.
"So, become a part of the castle eats, you can learn the ways of royalty." You have been with me for a very long time and I believe that you know about it already.
What do you think? He says and she nods an agreement but she certainly doesn't agree towards it, pretending to be agreeing is all she has been doing.
"If your mother agrees, then we can do that. She says to him even when that is the last thing she wants to be doing. And then as he is about to say something else, his mother stirs in front of him.
"David, it is time, she says and David looks at her." He clearly cannot believe that Arab lords are already in their abode. They have crossed their borders are heading straight towards them.
They're here. David says as he looks at Vixen and Vixen nods to him in agreement of the fact that they were here.
"Yes, let us be there to welcome them in." The Queen Dowager says.
She takes a good look at Vixen after telling David of the presence of the presence of the Arab lord:
"You look amazing. as usual." The Queen says to her as she holds Vixen s hands and begins to move.
Vixen follows in suit to later find her father who is already surrounded my the rest of the court officials who have come to represent. The rest of the royal members are coming to they all all come in together.
The news of the arab lord in their territory have filled every space in the receiving room and Vixen finds her eyes moving to General Hunter as she finds him in all his majesty.
He is giving his men orders as the presence of the Arab loads are certainly coming through. Every single time vixen finds herself in some kind of entanglement with him that is not spoken about the man does is it will look as if he gives a shit about and yet she's showing too much emotion.
When it comes to him. She finds him to be exotic and different from all other men as he disperses warriors around and a part of her just wants to keep watching Hunter.
He is dressed very nicely and he has his knighthood outfit, his hand on his sword just as the emblem of royalty is everywhere written around him. He may have been an illegitimate child but royalty spoken everything indeed, in the way walking the way spoke the tree leads was a power that he did not command it was already there.
There was no need for him to try to strike it. It's was good enough she said she thinks as she watches him the gates open in-order to receive the guest; everyone is waiting to see them as they wait in the receiving room that they have planned for the their visitors.
The Leaders the Arab clan come to the room and just as a Emerald told her prior to this time they are truly as she thought. They have come in with some certain kind of ambience that fills the room with something eerie, spontaneous and weird, it is.
At first not understandable for they do look like barbarians. They have come here in here with boldness like what Emerald says they possess but what is missing is the coming in with tigers.
They do not come in with any tiger but they have such ambience that's a strong enough for anyone to easily feel intimidated but not to southlands.
General Hunter has made such a frontier that would make anyone that comes into their territory feel intimidated also. Although, either of these will show it on their face if they were intimidated. They step into each other's arena and each of them at their own corner of the room is full of silence.
It is as if the people who are from the foreign country are watching them. And the people who have Southland are watching them too. But then it's still the beginning of a conversation that is meant or not meant to be.
