Chapter 105

The young servant girl finally comes to her senses after a good amount of minutes being in the safe hold of his arms.

"I have to go, It is quite too late." She says, she has used better tile on her hand to get hold of him because the spark has been lit already. She steps slowly away from him, so astounded about what has happened just now and so fearful to speak about it.

She does not want to look at him in the eyes because she's scared to see what could be there. At this very moment she is looking for a reason to possibly survive. He's wondering if he is about to punish her for such misconduct. She wonders what exactly is thinking especially, he has not said anything halftime.

She doesn't know that she's to apologize for but an apology needs to leave her mouth. She's about to let go, she knows she has to do something because if the queen who derives strength from such news where r even have an inkling about what happened in this very moment will lead to venomous disasters, so obviously she wants to do everything in her power to separate ourselves from being tied to what just happened.

As she puts space between them, she wonders if she just has to walk away. She thinks to herself, as she is convinced to at least try one of the above things imagines.

Should she apologize for the mistake? It wasn't as if she was the one who brought herself here, one she should have never made. She says as she begins to move back again because is shuddering.

She's quite taken aback. She doesn't know how in the world he chooses to not be angry.

"Thank you…I guess." She says she wants to immediately evacuate his premises because the longer she stays the longer she becomes a person who can be placed in a bad situation with the queen dowager because you see, the queen dowager is not one that a thing could be explained to.

The queen would never met anyone off so easily for having a single close contact with the king, when she finds such a misconduct she'll use it against them forever or for a very long time. So, it was so necessary that she exited in from his midst
and never came back to such a place again.

She thought to herself as she walks away and she's glad it doesn't stop it so as she enters back into the old way she places a hand on the chest. Well, she wonders if exactly she's supposed to feel like this, because he is the first man who wasn't identified and that she's arguing again and again.

What would anyone say if they found that she wad caught in an embrace with the king, if anyone were to arrived there and see because if anyone were to ask her for an explanation she would have none to postulate what happened and will plead guilty already.

She enters into her bedroom and she takes a deep breath still standing behind it the door. Wasn't it just a few days ago. Why isn't he angry at her?She thinks to herself. It is the most obvious thing to think about even if she's scared of the Queen. It may have pit the king in an emotional place because everyone knew how much love he had for Lady Vixen and everyone also knew that he had not moved on from ever getting him her, everyone in the castle literally two weeks has a standing point.

She is the one they always wanted to look like, how graceful and eloquent even when Lady Vixen was any of that, they wanted to be like her. Eliana I'm the together hand did not have the time to try to meet anybody's standards. She had so many problems, and quiet aspirations for herself such as to put on the table for herself and to think about such aspects of life.

Yes, many times her mind has stayed away to what she could do with her life if she weren't a servant. She thought of it already but it wasn't a thought that went so far because imaginations are restricted because of our current situation.

It will be very, very hard to try to imagine something better for your life when every single day. All you do is scrub floors, the dishes, bow your head and bent your back. It was a restricted imagination because you have to at least have an idea of the life you want before you imagined it and how exactly would she have begun to imagine things she has never worn before.

Impossible! Maybe other girls found it very easy to dream about because they had also new pieces of clothes and a jewelry to go along with it. But she wasn't one of those girls. She had nothing to go with nothing or she did not imagine anything better for it.

She steps away from the door after remembering the situation. She determined she should have to take a far space away from the King. It would be a mistake to lose this job at the end of the day.


She had her worst times working for Lord and ladies outside of the castle, that isn't what she needs by now. The last lord she worked for almost took advantage of her. It is a night she would never forget cause it left a scar on her and the emotion finds it's way back to meet her every time she thinks of the incidence.


The lord's wife knew nothing about it. The stupid woman thought she wanted to seduce him and sent her packing before she could even explain anything to her. It was a disaster that she would like to forget .

There was also the disgrace that the woman out her through, calling a scandalous thing and throwing her into the claws of others. A part of her always felt as if his wife also knew she was telling the through and t she had nothing to do about because she wanted to punish someone for the anger of what that was most upset, so a lowly servant girl, and perhaps other servants before her knew about his misgivings.


She used Eliana as an example and was banned, when Eliana got away from his wife. Eliana lost her livelihood, she was pushed to the streets and that was the hardest part of her life.

She didn't give up at the end of the day, she fought for something everyone in the marketplace thought she could only dream about. She has finally got it. So she was not about to lose it for the king especially when she is not sure if he will protect her when things come into place.

Eliana scoffs as she closes her eyes for a bit, why was she even dreaming of scenarios that could never happen. It wasn't right for her to dream like this especially when she had never had a taste of it.
