Chapter 108

David tries to focus on something that doesn't have a Eliana around but it seems to be impossible, he smiles seeing how bad it is trying to concentrate and yet it isn't working, literally as opposed to concentration.

There is need for an undisturbed focus by the large pages of manuscripts and the rest staring in front of him. He drops the ink for a moments before he can continue what he's doing. It feels as if she has taken a part or with close to treasure that he needed to buy back, but he did not know what he should use.

So to take back such concentration and place it into what that needs his upmost attention and it ain't working. And after fighting for so long, so by his concentration, he loses his grip and takes a moment to think about her just as she's forcing his hand.

And so when he does, he remembers the shocking eyes. One of the things he remembers the most is that that she's always so shocked and a difference when he helps and does he understand why it is like that?

Why does she always choose to be so different around him? He doesn't understand why. He thinks to himself if this has to be the result of something she has heard about him or something more from the hands of the people who work for him.

He wonders what the situation could be but there is one thing that he knows very well, it is that his mother has a way of making people fear the extents of her power by coming up with threats that she could do. In fact she's was too capable of making these threats known especially to his smiles knowing that his mother traitors found a way to secure but he knows the threats are not so empty.

And there was a good reason why she hurts to be scared about it at the end of the day. He drops his ink after getting tired of thinking about this situation. So gets off his highchair, the biggest sear in the room of his study.

For some reasons, it feels as if there was a need to talk to someone and that person was whom he was exactly thinking about that this very moment. He knows very well to be wary of his mother. She is very insecure when it comes to him and servers around the castle he has never paid attention to all of this because he has always been in love with Vixen.

Now all of a sudden, it's as if his eyes are open to things he never used to see before. It's was crazy because himself as he moves from place of the office to another place is actually bits of time in order to go see her because he knows that at this particular time, she will probably be doing something and he is once again thinking about whether it should see how.

The last thing he wants to do was to bring his mothers wrath upon her but he also has to show her that his owner can relinquish his mother's hatred. It is his responsibility to have the highest power despite his mother's claim but then he asked her to remind himself that he is King and he can actually do whatever.

But that doesn't sit well with him, It sounds arrogant and so he wants to do something else about the situation. Then again he doesn't know he takes a deep breath trying to determine something to parts it.

It doesn't just sit well with him and he decides to do something about it at the end of the day.

He stands on his feet and begins to head out the study, walking along they hallway hoping to see at least. He is walking from the beginning of the hallway to the end of the old.

He did not have a sight of her and he begins to walk to the end of the hall way way once again. He climbs up to the staircase trying to get a sight of her and moving from one place to another just to get a sight from her.

It's like she's not even in the castle and then as is he is getting down from staircase after going from the garden to to the kitchens and in fact scares some of the servants who he met there, he finds the chief baud who looks at him.

"Where is...?"

He almost says but anyway realizes that if he puts a word out there they would realize the person is searching for and wonder what relationship he shares, and so be reconstructs the words

Where are all the servants? He asks and the woman looks at him.

"Some of them are on their day off and thet will be there marketplace, Your Majesty." She says and the chief of servant is quite surprised because she has never seen the King being interested in the servers life.


It is the queen dowager that has always had a part to play in that

"Oh, I see." He says and excuses himself as he heads over to his horse and begins to ride is way to the market. He heaves for the market place hoping he will catch a sight of her

He moves along the alley way sure that he would find her even he is not aware of where she could be. Hopefully, she'll be some way he thinks to himself has he moves from one place to another.

All of a sudden, he stops in front of a flower shop, he sees a woman facing back and he feels some kind of familiarity and it feels like he has seen her before.

He us waiting for her to turn her back, He doesn't know her from anywhere but there is still a familiarity. And he gets off his horse to know more about who she could be and then he stops.

He gives the reins of the horse to someone standing near the shop who is in charge of the rides and then, he enter instantly and he stares at her.

She turns back and it is no other than the sane person thar he came here to find out. He is surprised, so surprised that he just stands, looking her and she doesn't to say either.


Eliana cannot believe that he is standing right in front of her.

How did he know she would be here? It's like the keratin who she us trying to run away from would not her her go so easily.

She doesn't look like something strange anymore. the fact that he know what she looks like and seeing t the gracefulness has she packs her hair and how her it loses and falls towards the wind.

Is he falling in love with her? He is quiet, trying to understand his thoughts and why he is acting the way he's acting. Why his mind is trying so hard to know where she is.

"Your Majesty, how did you find me here?" She says to him as he watches her. Her curly mass of hair falls and a strand falls upon her face and all he wants is to take that the strand away so it doesn't cover her luxurious face. it is the only thing he wants to do and he cannot even bring a word to explain the way he feels about her is speechless.

The words he used to explain all of these find a way to delete themselves. He doesn't know how to tell her what he feels.

You, he says but the sentence just pauses there.

Why do you think I came here to look for you? I did not come here to look for you. He says and finally analyze the lie that he would bring forth.

"I came here to pick some flowers for my mother." He says to her and she nods her head immediately seeing how she misunderstood him And he on the other end feels terrible for oven to bring such a stupid right when that is not the reason he came here at end of the day.

He feels stupid to not be able to tell the truth but he is sacred that he is going too fast. At least that is what is happening to him. His heart is beating too fast and he doesn't want her to know every single detail of what he feels.

David tucks his hands into his pocket, he would have to hide until he is sure that she feels the same way too. He watches as she goes back and resumes what she is doing and he pretends to be searching for a flower that he didn't even care about.

He turns his back away from her and smiles seeing how he is twisted to his feelings once again.
