Chapter 18

Avery

Landon opened the door for me and I got in. I started trembling and shaking. Jake just held me.

“ Was that the first time you've ever talked back to them?”, he asked

“ Yes. I've never uttered a word before, “ I said quietly.

“ Then this is the first of Many times. Because now you're my wife and don't you ever back down from anyone. As long as you're not wrong then you stand firm and know that I will always be standing behind you in everything you do” ,he said, kissing my hair.

“ okay. Now that no one is here, I'm worried about Esther and the others “. I said

“ Don't worry, I'll have Irene speak to them, they'll come over to our place,” he said.

I saw a few more officers drive in. They were putting up a fight. After two hours they were gone.

Jake

I left the security guard there and she Locked the house up. I had the two women go over to my place. By three that after we were in Brookhaven.

When She saw the house she was shocked. I bought this house because it was on the outskirts of Brookhaven. It was over fifty acres. I had the back transformed into a race track for my pleasure.

When we got out of the car, I left her to go Walk around. I found her standing at the back looking at the race track. Esther, Sherry and Irene would be here in an hour. I had already asked Shawn to get me a bike for her. A custom made purple and black Ducati. Everything was possible with money. The bike was already here so was mine.

“ Jake ,why is there a race track at the back of your house?” She asked, looking at me. I couldn't help but smile.

“ Because I wanted it “ , I said , wrapping my arms around her waist. She leaned into me. Shit I couldn't be alone with her in that house. I don't think anything would stop her now, knowing that she was legally my wife she'd try to get me to take her. Shit, I needed to Keep her and myself distracted .

“ Do you still want to learn how to Ride princess?”, I whispered ,against her skin.

“ Yes “ ,

“ Okay let's go” , I said, leading her to the garage. She stopped and stood looking at all the bikes.

“ Why do you have so many?”she asked, walking over to one of the dirt bikes.

“ Because I like them , They give me freedom and helps me think clearly” , walked over to the bike that was covered.

“ Dean Winston's son ,Junior, had one like this, he used to let me ride it. I was sixteen,he was a college senior. Mr Winston would give my father an excuse. Junior was the only friend I had that wasn't afraid of them. After he graduated he left Ryedale. He's married now with two kids” , she said looking at me.

“ Okay then ,so you know the basics. Come here princess “ I waited until she came over to me. I pulled the cover off and stood looking at her. I saw her eyes go wide. She looked at me.

“ I could have used one of yours, you didn't have to get me one “ she said looking at me. This was the reason. She didn't expect me to get her , her own bike. I pulled her into me.

“ Yes , you needed your own. Let's go baby girl” , I said, handing her ,her helmet.

“ Wait, I need to change “ ,she said heading towards the house.

“ Okay, I'll be waiting for you out front. It's the first room on the right princess”. I said, grabbing my helmet.

Avery

I didn't expect him to get me my own bike. I knew how to ride. I went upstairs and found the room easily. I sat on the bed for a moment ,that's when it really sank in. I was married and not just married to anyone but him. I would let it happen and see where it takes us.
When I opened my bag, I shook my head. All the clothes wore shorts and crop tops. Guess that's what he'll be seeing for the rest of his life.

When I got back to the garage he wasn't there. I turned it on, when the dashboard lit up , I flipped the switch, switching it on and started revving it. That was a damn nice sound. I wore the helmet and got on. I rode out to meet him.

I don't think I've ever seen him looking at me like that. I saw him saying something to Landon. Landon shook his head and smiled and walked away. I rode up next to him and lifted the visor and looked at him.

“ Please don't look at me like that. This is what you bought me” , I said sitting up.

“ Fuck baby girl. Do you have any idea how hot you look right now?. You're ass looks fucking amazing”. he said , looking at me.

“ Umm ,Jake, I've always looked like this. Have you forgotten you've been riding with me behind you for almost two months? Imagine the view people had” ,I said, closing the visor and rode off towards the track.

I could hear him ,he pulled up beside me. I sped up and he followed.

Jake

Fuck me ,she looked so fucking hot. When she reminded me , I almost lost my shit. I let her ride and stayed behind her watching her ass. We rode until it got too dark. She was a good rider,she had control. We could ride together.

When we pulled into the garage she was smiling. I pulled her into me and held her. She took the initiative and kissed me.

“ Thank you, Love . I enjoyed riding”, she said, smiling at me.

“ We can ride whenever you want, princess “ , I kissed her and she groaned. Fuck.

“ Why don't you head in and have a shower. I'll be there soon. Irene and the others are already here “ , I said looking at her.

“ Okay “ ,She said , walking into the house. I stood looking at her Walk away ,she looked amazing in those shorts. Shit I needed to keep her and myself distracted or I would take her before she was ready.

I saw Landon walking towards me.

“ Boss ,this came while you were riding”, he said, handing me the bag. I knew what it was. I took it from him.

“ Landon you've done Martial arts right?”,

“ Yes sir also Krav maga ” , he said looking at me.

“ I need you to teach her self defense, ” I said looking at him. He looked a bit nervous.

“ Umm , boss, wouldn't it be better to umm, get her an umm, well a female teacher ” ,he said hesitantly. I just shook my head.

“ I'm not going to strangle you for teaching her, Landon. Let me know when you're ready, I'll let her know '' , I said walking into the house.

The More distracted she was the better for me. When I walked into the house Irene was just leaving.

“ Dinner?”

“ Hmm , around Eight Irene ”.

“ Okay”.

When I walked into our room she was just walking out of the bathroom. Shit. She walked over to me but didn't touch me.

“ All I have are shorts, Jake. No dresses or pajamas , What am I supposed to sleep in“. She said bending over and going through her suitcase. Fuck I needed to get out of here.

“ Wear one of my shirt ”, I said walking into the bathroom and locking the door behind me. I grabbed a quick shower, when I came out she wasn't there. I got dressed and headed down but she wasn't there either. I wasn't worried she couldn't leave without Landon knowing.

I found her sitting on the swing on the back porch. I walked over and sat next to her ,she closed the distance between us and snuggled up next to me , I wrapped my arms around her and just held her.

“ Don't I have to work tomorrow babe?”

“No , everything will be fine for a few days. There's only Four more working days, it'll be fine princess”.

“ Okay “.

“ When we return to Ryedale, I'll let people see me, princess . they'll finally know my name and what I look like “.

“ Okay” , I held her tighter

“ I hid my identity because of the women that were always around and trying to get to me. I don't need to do that anymore because I have you. I already have my wife,the woman I will spend the rest of my life with “.

I pulled the ring box out of my pocket and opened it. I took her hands.

“ I love you Avery . You're the first and only woman that I've ever been interested in and ever wanted a life with. I promise to love you, cherish you and spend the rest of my life being loyal to you and making you happy ”.
