Jake

We took a seat and I let her explain everything that happened to them.
“ Jesus Christ snugs”. James said. She threw a sticky note at him. “ Stop calling me that. Now I need some help”.

“ What do you need?”. James asked, smiling.

“ Jake is going to return back to my house so will you Irene. However she's getting an ultimatum. Mr Williams, how long would it take to draft up a contract? ,one between me and Jake stating certain things. Everyone here knows we're legally married and that's what they know but we'll change it around “. She said smiling.

I listened as she explained everything. Teo was smiling and James was smirking. Irene and Shawn were full out laughing . I couldn't believe what she was saying but I knew that shit would be throwing all of them off guard.

By five that afternoon everything was set. She would stay in our house with Sherry and Esther. Teo would stay with her until Landon got back. Shawn had just dropped off the Documents and left. She came out of the shower with the clothes she had on in a bag.
“ Princess leave it, I'll get rid of it “.

“ No. She had me killed and this is what I was wearing the last time she saw me” ,she said smirking and I couldn't help but smile. She grabbed my backpack that I normally used and put it inside. I got her another phone and her laptop was still home. She asked Teo and James to get cameras installed in her house ,every single corner and I just told them to do whatever she said.

James said he would keep Alexis busy while Teo and The others installed the hidden cameras. I took her down to the garage and looked at her.

“ I love you Avery. Before you came in , I smashed a vase because I felt like you betrayed me. You're the first woman I've ever let into my heart and it was destroying me to see you hurt me”. I said holding her hands. She looked at me and smiled.

“ While they had me locked up, I prayed and I've never prayed in my entire life. Do you know what I prayed for?”.

“ No love. What did you pray for?”.

“ I prayed that you would see through the deceit and lies that you would know I would never do anything to hurt you and that I would never betray you because I had no idea how far Alexis would go in her thirst for revenge. I love you Jake I promised to love you and be Loyal you and I intend to keep that oath “.

I grabbed her and took her mouth.
“ I love you baby girl”.
“ I love you too babe”.
“ Be careful. I'll be behind you all the Way. Can I Hit her?. I asked and she smiled and nodded. She got onto the bike as she was about to start it ,I saw the car pull up outside and Landon came out. I shook my head.

“ I got the all clear Boss “. He said. I looked at her and she looked at his wife and daughter.

“ Cassy is daddy telling the truth?”. I guess she knew how to get Landon in line.
“ Yes “ ,
“ He did. After you left he asked me to take him to the doctor. He's worried about you. He told me some things and I understand a bit better. Be careful Mrs Woods “.

“ Thank you for understanding Andrea. I promise that I won't do anything to put him or myself in harm's way “.

The woman just smiled and left. I explained the entire situation to Landon and he just stood there and smiled. Teo drove in the garage with the car . When he saw Landon he did a double take.

“ Should you even be out and about?”. He asked him.

“ Teo you'll be with me and he's with her. You'll drop me off at her place first and then take Landon over”.

“ Yes Boss”.

I gave her a kiss and watched as she rode out of the garage. We got into the car and Teo followed her.

“ I Lost my sister at the hands of my stepfather. She was nineteen when it happened. I wasn't home that day and everyday since then ,I regretted not being at home,not being able to protect her. Avery reminds me so much of her “. Landon said quietly.

Now I understand why he was so concerned with her. “ It's fine Landon “.
When we pulled up to the door. I got out and grabbed the documents and headed in. Irene was in the living room. I looked at her and she looked up. Oh she's here then let the fun begin.

I took a seat and waited. A few minutes later I saw her coming down the stairs,the hatred and anger that consumed me Was unlike anything I've ever felt. She walked over to me and stood looking at me.

“ So you returned after fucking some whore?”. She said snarkily. I stood up and looked at her. I didn't think or hesitate. I slapped her causing her body to sway. That felt so fucking good. She stood up and looked at me.

“ How dare you fucking hit me?”. She yelled. I slapped her again, this time I drew blood and I couldn't help but smile. I took a seat and looked at her. I threw the envelope at her.

“ Whether you lost your memory or not the rules still apply so you might want to read that before you utter another word”.

Avery

I was in Jake's office looking at them on the laptop. Landon was sitting beside me.
“ Ohh that's gonna hurt..I see blood “. He said, I didn't have to look to know he was smiling.

I Saw Alexis open the envelope and began reading the documents. She looked at Jake.

“WHAT THE HELL IS THE MEANING OF THIS. I AM YOUR WIFE?”.

Jake just sat calmly looking at her. “ If you read that properly you wouldn't be saying those words. We are not married. This was an agreement between us. The contract states we would pretend to be a happy married couple for one year so you could escape your family and I could achieve a particular contract”. Jake replied casually.

“ No you're lying, they told me we're married ”, She said looking at Irene.

“ Because that's what we were told to tell you”. Irene answered.

“ That contact states.
You're never to reveal you're Mrs Woods .
You're not to sleep with anyone during the contract period.
You're to cut all contact with your family members.
You're not to spend a single cent of my money or you will repay it.
There will and won't ever be any intimacy between party A being me and party B meaning you.
You're to remain indoors all day everyday with the except for school hours
You're to dress accordingly
You're not to mistreat or disrespect my house staff
You will have no say in my personal life
The contract will end if both parties agree to terminate the contract.
If the contract is completed without any issues you will be paid fifty million dollars and if the contract isn't this house is mine that was your payment to me.
And lastly if you break any of these rules you will be fined ten million payable to party A which will terminate the contract upon payment.

“ Now Avery, tell me. How many of These rules did you break while I was away?”. He said looking at her and I could see she was uncomfortable.

Alexis

No this can't be happening. I went and changed my face to look like this fucking bitch just to have her man,her house and money and now I find out it's all a sham. No, I can't let this happen. I could still salvage this. I could blame it on amnesia.

“ Jake please. You can't expect me to pay you. You left me here for two months and you wouldn't talk to me or touch me after I was told we were married. How do you think that made me feel? “. I said crying.

Crying always works,I didn't look at him. God he was so handsome and hot. If she's not really married to him then that means they haven't had sex. If I have to drug him to get him to sleep with me I will. I'm not giving up . I'm not leaving until I have half of what is his or all of it. Come whatever may , I became Avery to get all this and I'd be damned to fucking hell if I give up so easily.
