I saw the idiot Zach heading down the stairs, he looked terrified. I kept looking at him,he tried to run but Teo stopped him. “ If you ever step a foot in this house ever again, I'll make sure you fucking disappear ,get it “.

“ She's not even your wife”, He said,he tried to sound tough but his voice cracked. I saw the crazy whore coming down the stairs. “ Come here Avery ”. She walked towards us slowly. The minute she was within reach,I grabbed her by her hair.

“ Didn't I fucking warn you?”. I slapped her and she fell to the ground. Morrison looked like he would pee himself. I looked at him.
“ Your Daddy may be the mayor but ask him who rules fucking Ryedale. I'll kill you and her get the Fuck out”. He ran out of the house.

“ Teo ,Make sure he's gone”.
“ Yes Boss”.

I looked at the woman on the ground. I didn't feel sorry for her. I remember how her mother had grabbed Avery that day by her hair so I did the same. I grabbed her by her hair and dragged her to the sitting area and dropped her head.

“ All you had to do was follow the rules “.

“ Jake , please. Please I'm sorry”. Alexis said out of breath. I Saw Irene walk in on cue.

“ Irene isn't this the girl who you swore would be no problem?, Isn't she the one you said was innocent,and simple. Guess you were fooled because she's a whore. Stand up Avery “. I said, waiting for her. She took her time standing up when she looked at me. I saw all the blood leave her face.

I felt her hands on my shoulder , Alexis started backing away from me. “ Where the fuck do you think you're going?, I'm not done with you “. I said walking towards her, Every step I took My princess was behind me . Suddenly the lights went off.

“ Teo Check what is going on with The lights”.

“ Yes Boss”.

When the lights came back on she was standing behind Alexis, Alexis looked scared. “ MURDERER ”, she yelled behind Alexis. When Alexis turned around she backed away too fast and fell over. Avery kept walking towards her .

“ What the Fuck is wrong with this girl now?”. I said looking at Alexis.

“ Jake. Ass,shesss. Don't you see her?” , she said I could hear the fear in her voice.

“ See Who Avery?No one is here besides me Irene, Teo and you. Are you losing your fucking mind?”. I asked her.

“Av,Av… she's here “. She said full out crying now.

“ I can't deal with your fucking stupidity. I'm going to bed”. I said walking up the stairs. Before I got to the stairs the lights went out again. When I got to the top of the stairs they came on. I went into the room and Locked the door. I called Landon.

“ Boss, we're already back home “.
“ Okay”. I ended the call and laid there. I couldn't and wouldn't be able to sleep around this girl.

When Six Am rolled around, I grabbed a shower and went out. Irene was standing there. Smiling. I looked at her and she nodded in the direction of the room Alexis was in.I walked over to the room and opened the door. She was in a corner of the room, on the floor.

“ What the hell is wrong with you?”. I asked and she jumped. She looked around and then stood up looking around.

“N.n.nothing”. She said, I went downstairs. I didn't eat , Irene knew I wouldn't eat. When she came down I looked at her.
“ Don't make what happened last night happen again”. I said walking out of the house. I was about to get into the car when I saw the police car and another car driving in.

I stood there and waited. James got out and came over to me. I saw Garrett Anderson and Renee get out of the car and come to where we were.
“ Mr Woods, I'm here to do a wellness check. Mr Anderson is under the impression that his daughter is being abused “. James said, looking at me.

I didn't say anything, I walked into the house and they followed me..
“ Avery?”.
“ Yes ?”.

“ Come here “ , I said. She came around the corner and stopped short. Renee ran over to her and hugged her. I saw her slip something into Alexis's pocket.

“ We're so worried. Someone called us and said they saw your husband hitting you ” Renee said.

“ Who are They?”. Alexis asked, keeping with the amnesia story. Garrett looked at me. “ what the hell did you do to my daughter?”.

“ Mr Anderson, Avery had an accident months ago and she lost her memory. There's a full police report at the station”. James said.

“ Well if she lost her memory Then she needs to be with family to help her remember “. He said

“ She doesn't remember her own name, besides she's my wife and she's not going anywhere”. I said, he looked like he wanted to say something but James beat him to it.

“ Mr Woods is right, she's an adult and she's his wife.. Avery, do you want to return back home to your parents house or stay with your husband?”.

“ Stay with My husband “ She answered

“ Are you being Ill treated or hurt?”. James asked.

“ No I'm not “ ,She replied..oh she was determined.

“ Mr Anderson see. Avery is fine. You heard it from her own mouth”. James said.

After they stayed for a few minutes they left. I stood looking at her.“ See simple as that”. I said walking out. I got into the Car and went over to my house. I found Landon in the living room with three laptops. He was recording everything that happened over in her house. Shawn was sitting with him.

“ I can't let everyone have fun while I'm missing out” , Shawn said. I just shook my head. I saw her walking down the stairs. I went to her and Once I was close enough,she wrapped her arms around me and kissed me. “ Good morning babe. Come have breakfast then go take a nap. Even if it's a few hours, we'll be fine”. She said taking my hand.

I couldn't help but smile at her. We Sat down to have breakfast. I was waiting for the rest of them. I guess she knew.

“ Where's everyone, we're waiting for you guys to have breakfast. Shawn you too ”. She said, That moment I Loved her a bit more. They all came and sat down and we had breakfast. I could see the questions behind Shawns eyes but he didn't ask.

After breakfast,I left them and headed up to our room. She was behind me. She just hugged me. “No sex , you haven't slept properly for the past few days. I want you to sleep. We'll lock all the doors and windows ” .

“ Thank you baby girl. I really do appreciate this. I am tired ” ,I said burying my face in The crook of her neck. She smelled the same as always. I gave her a kiss and she left after closing all the curtains.

Avery

I saw it in his eyes he was tried, he needed to sleep. I headed back down where the others were. “ Teo ? Irene?”.

“ Yes Mrs Woods?.”

“ Teo , make sure no one comes in here. Irene Can you please close all The windows , doors and curtains”.

“ We will ” , she said, heading to the back. Shawn was looking at me. I Sat down on the couch and looked at him.
“ He's tired and he needs to sleep. We don't know who's looking but if the house is open, someone May accidentally see me and that could stop our plans ”. I said.

“ Smart, ” He said.

“ Something's happening ” , Landon said, just as Irene closed the front door and the curtains. We were looking at the laptop screen.
Alexis was in the living room on the phone, she was walking In Front of one of the cameras. She had the phone on speaker.

Alexis : Mom what the hell?. Why did you show up here?

Renee: So I could give you the drugs. Are you alone?

Alexis : Yea he just left for the office and that idiot Irene left too.

Renee : Be careful of what you say. Someone could be listening , there could be cameras.

Alexis : There aren't cameras. While he was away I had someone check. I'm alone. Mom, are you sure they killed her?.

Renee : Don't talk about it .

Alexis : Mom , I saw her

Renee : Not possible sweetie,they took care of her

Alexis : No mom ,I saw her last night, she was standing behind him. He couldn't see her, She was wearing the same clothes,she was covered in blood. She called me a murderer.

Renee : Get a grip of yourself. Ghost don't exist

Alexis : Then come here and see if you see her again.

Renee : Alexis stick to the plan.

Alexis : Sure I'm going to get some sleep, I couldn't sleep last night.

Renee : Okay be careful I'll speak to you later.
