After we left, Dr. Rusland’s office, Jake headed to the office and we headed home. Everything with Amelia was good. She was gaining weight, which was normal. On the way home, I noticed people were staring at the vehicle. Of course, they were it was a damn tank. I decided to check on my father and Andrea and Cassy. Before we left Brighton, I made Landon stop at a store to pick up some snacks and some stuff for Cassy. Landon Groaned the entire time, telling me not to buy too much. “She is. When is Resa being released from the hospital”? I asked him.

“The two women that are here. They introduced themselves as Jake’s mother and sister but”, he said.

“They well. This morning after breakfast I overheard them saying some mean things to Rachel and Esther, including Andrea”, he said.

“ESTHER. SHERRY GET OUT HERE NOW”? I yelled. “Calm down, Mrs. Wood’s” Andrea said, 

I saw Sherry and Esther walking over to us. And I looked at them. “Spill it what did those two do, what did they say”?
“Well, after we served breakfast. After breakfast, your father left and Ms. Andrea and Cassy were at the dining table when they came in. Renauta yelled at us, asking us what rights did we think we had to serve anyone before them. That Ms. Andrea and Cassy were akin to servants”, Sherry said. 

“Excuse me”?

“Lelia said that they were Jakes Family, and we needed to respect them and learn our place. We were servants and servants alone. She said Cassy would never grow up if Ms. Andrea keeps coddling her. That’s why she is......retarded”, Esther said. 

I stood up and handed Amelia to Esther and walked into the house. I knew Landon was behind me. When I walked in, it was quiet. “Mrs. Woods. Clam down, Let's be rational about it”, Landon said.

“No, they have no right to disrespect anyone in my home”, I said about to head up the stairs.

“They’re not home Avery”, I heard Rachel say.

I was sitting in my office with Shawn and Officer James. I was telling Shawn what happened and James what Avery wanted to do. Leila asked to borrow a car, so I lent her one and had someone following them. We were discussing what we should do when I saw Landon Calling. I answered and put it on speaker.

“Boss, The Mrs., is angry”. “What Happened Landon”?

We listened as he explained what Garrett and the others said. “Landon, make sure she doesn’t do anything”.

“Okay boss”. I ended the call and sat there looking at them.

“You might want to keep an eye on her. I’ve seen her get angry once, and it wasn’t pretty”, James said.

“What do you mean”? Shawn asked him.

“She once got angry at Alexis, and she beat the crap out of Alexis. They were about thirteen. Alexis was around fourteen at that time. Garret had beaten her because Alexis said something, so she did the same thing to Alexis and then Garret hit her again for Hitting Alexis. Alexis had a broken arm”.

“So she can get angry, she just had to remain silent and tolerate everything for so many years”, Shawn said.

“Yes. Look, we’ll run with her plan. Kidnap them and do whatever. I’m sure Landon and Irene will be more than happy to help her with that. Just make sure they don’t die or anything. In the meant time meantime, I’ll have the guys keep checking into their backgrounds and where they’ve been”, James said.

“Okay”, 

After he left, Shawn and I did some work. When I got home that evening, and I walked through the door. She was in the living room, with Landon and Irene. They had the laptops open. I walked over to them and kissed her.

“Resa can get under anyone’s skin and as long as Resa is there they won’t say anything to Andrea and Cassy. I can't believe she had the audacity to say Cassy was, Retarded”, she said, and I could tell she was getting worked up all over again. 

“Irene”?

“Can you take care of Amelia for a few minutes for me”? I asked standing up.

“Landon, make sure everything is being recorded”, Jake said.

“It already is boss”. We watched as they went into the room. Rachel gave one of them Alexis’s old room. The minute the door was closed, Leila answered the phone.

Leila: Hello

Stranger: yes, well, it seems you are right in your assumption that Mr Wood would do anything for his wife.

We listened as the man told them what happened to Janice. Renee And Alexis.

Renauta: so what do we do? I think that damn woman and her daughter lied to us. Because if the information she gave us on her son is real, why did he move us out of his house?
