“ We can have fun tonight. Jake can I..?”.

I pulled her back to me.

“ I love you and I appreciate all the stuff you got me but I don't really care about it. I know you'll say no if I ask you. you'll say no to me taking off my ring. So can I please go to work with the bike?. Renee, Alexis and Aunt Janice won't give up and they're going to look for me. If I use the bike they won't know how I get to work and I can leave it in your garage please “.

I looked at her. “ Okay”. At least with the bike no one would know it's her unless she told them and she was right, they are trying to find her. And she was Damn sure she's not taking that ring off.

“ Really?”. She sat up and looked at me.

He agreed. I had just taken a shower and walked into the closet and stopped short. I yelled for him.

“ Jake Zachary Woods ?.

“ Yes Princess?”. He walked into the closet looking at me.

“ Jake, where did all of this Come from?”. I asked, pointing at the shelves with handbags,shoes and More clothes than before.

“ No Avery. You're my wife and you deserve the best of everything . I'll be damned to hell if you're not dressed in the best there is “.

He wrapped his arms around my waist.

“ I know princess. I know it's overwhelming for you but I need to do this princess. Every single person that has ever said a degrading word to you. Anyone that has ever looked at you and thought you weren't good enough I want them to see how wrong they are”.

“ I know most women would jump for joy at the sight of all these things but not you and that's Why I do it. I told you I'll give you anything you desire, baby girl,but let me do this for you please ”.

“ Okay, But on one condition. No more expensive Jewelry or Cars ”. I said, looking at him seriously.

I was waiting for her .when I saw her walking down the stairs. I spit my coffee out and I heard Landon say shit before walking out the door. She …. Fuck… I was instantly hard. She was wearing one of the suits Shawn had the personal shopper pick out. It was a pants and a sleeveless blouse, the color a bit darker than her skin color. When she got down and came over to the table she smiled at me and took a seat. I didn't say anything to her. I couldn't help but stare at her throughout breakfast. After she finished she looked at me. She leaned over and squeezed my dick.

When I walked out the door, Landon was waiting,she was on her bike. I walked over to her.

“ Babe I know you won't be able to help it and you'll look at me. Also people are starting to speculate that something is going on between me and Shawn ,if anyone asks me Me anything, I'll say Shawn is a friend of my fiancee and that's it”. She said looking forward.

“ That's okay with me princess. You can speak to Landon if you wish. Say he's your friend. Be careful and if you need help call Landon or me. Also Lock your phone ”.

“ Already did love. I'll see you At work babe ”.

“ Go ahead ”.

I stood back and watched as she started her bike and rode out the gates. I got into the car and we left. I gave Landon a heads up on his new Alias. When we pulled up to the front of the building,the reporters were swarming. Jesus they weren't going to give me a chance.

Landon and the other Security team got out and made a path for me. I called her.

“ Where are you princess?”.

“ Leaving the Garage about to head in”

“ Okay Love. Have a good day Princess”.

“ You too love “.

I ended the call and pocketed the phone. Landon opened the door for me and I got out. Everyone started whispering, I Guess they didn't know what to expect. I saw Shawn walking towards me.

“ Ready Boss?”.

“ Let's get this over with”. I said as we headed up the stairs. The minute we stepped into the lobby, I knew without a doubt every single female employee was standing there. I didn't look at anyone. I greeted the executives and We headed straight towards the elevator. Just for today alone I would use this elevator.

I just nodded at everyone that said Good morning. We were almost to the elevator when I heard someone shouting her name. Instincts had me wanting to stop but Shawn cleared his throat keeping me in check.

When we got into the elevator ,she was heading our way with another girl, their arms linked together and she was smiling. Hmm , guess she found a friend. Shawn held the elevator for them. When they walked in they Just said Good morning.

“ Mr Allen said you had an accident, are you sure you're better enough To work?”. The tall blonde asked her.

“ Yes Suzanne I'm sure “.

“ Good cause I missed you”.

They stopped on the tenth floor and got off. She didn't look at me or even acknowledged me and for some reason that set me off. When we got off the top floor a guy was waiting there.

“ Mr Woods,this is Henry your Assistant “.

“ Okay , I'll speak to you in a few minutes “.

I said walking into my office.
“ Landon?, Run her info and find out exactly Who she is and if she's a threat?”.

He just nodded and left. My phone vibrated. I pulled it out and saw it was her. I opened the message and couldn't help but smile.

Suddenly I was in a better mood ,I guess Shawn knew because he just shook his head.

Suzanne linked her arms through mine and we headed in. I liked her ,she was kind and funny. The entire time I could feel his eyes boring into my back. I knew he would be pissed because I ignored him, so when we got into the department I sent him a message and Then Deleted it and locked my phone.

When Jade walked into the department she was all smiles. One of the other girls walked over to her and whispered something to her. She came over to my desk and gave me some documents. She was about to leave when she stopped.

“ Avery?, you're wearing a wedding ring?”.

“ Oh no , it's my engagement ring”.

“ I didn't know you were engaged. How old are you again?”. Her tone was snarky.

“ Eighteen ” , I said, sitting back in my chair and looking at her.

“ isn't that too young?”.

“ Well, after my faithful accident. He decided he wasn't taking any chances,so we got engaged”.

“ My . That's a lovely ring,it looks expensive “. She said leaning forward and looking at my ring.

“ It is . My fiance is quite rich. He And Mr Allen are friends ”.

“ Oh ,your fiance knows Mr Allen?”.
