The past two weeks have been different and difficult. I stayed away from her. I spent almost every night at the office. If I wasn't there then I was over at my house. I guess she figured because we were married she had every right to touch me , so If I was around she would touch me and try to kiss me . She tried to initiate sex but I couldn't stand her touch.

If I'm over there, I tend to stick with the security guards or Irene and the others which gave her less chances. I was having lunch when Damion walked in with a soldier.

“ Mr Woods, special courier “. I went to them.

“ I was waiting for this” , I said, signing the documents and taking the package from him. I headed to the office and Locked the door. I checked it over and Saw they made some changes. This meeting would be another six weeks and in all honesty I needed it. I resealed the envelope and walked out.

“ Irene?”.

“ Yes Mr Woods?”.

“ Can you or One of the others pack my bags for me? I need to Head back to Washington. The meeting has resumed”

“ Of course sir”. I saw her coming down the stairs. I never thought this would happen or I would feel this way but I didn't want to be with her anymore.

“ Where are we going?”.
“ You're not going anywhere Avery. I have a closed door meeting with heads of states. That's where I was when you had your accident and I had to leave to come back home and take care of you. I need to return”.

“ No” ,she said.

“ Excuse me?.What do you mean no?”. I said looking at her.

“ You're not leaving”.

“ All of you can carry on with your work”. I said looking at everyone who had heard her outburst and peeked in. They left one by one.

“ You didn't stop me last time. So Why now?”. I asked.

“ I don't care about last time. I Said no you're not going anywhere. Is the meeting real or is it just an excuse to go sleep with someone else because you sure as hell won't fucking touch me”. She yelled.

I was stunned for a second. This wasn't the Avery I knew,this wasn't the girl I fell in love with. It was like she was a whole different person.

“ You don't have a say in what I do with my business. Yes I haven't touched you because I honestly don't want to. Right now you're acting like someone else and it's pissing me off Avery “.

“ If I'm pissing you off so much them Give me a fucking divorce and let me go”. She yelled.

“ AVERY. THAT'S ENOUGH. I'll be back in Six weeks and we'll deal with this”. I said walking out of the house. I headed over to my place and sat in the office. That was the first time I've ever raised my voice at her. What the fuck was wrong with her. She's completely different or is this who she really was and she hid it from me.

By three that afternoon I was heading back to Washington. I turned my phone off because when I Landed I already had twenty missed calls from her. Before I walked into the conference room I called Irene.

“ Mr Woods,. Something is really wrong here. After you left she threw a tantrum and broke everything she got her hands on. Even a picture of her mother. We tried to stop her but she yelled at us . Telling us she didn't need us to get out. We're back over at your place. I asked Teo and Damion to keep an eye on her and report back to me”. Irene said. I could hear the distress in her voice.

“ Okay keep watching her, just make sure she doesn't hurt herself or anyone else”.

“ Okay “.

I ended the call and stood silently for a second. I guess she was now showing her True color. I turned my phone off and went into the conference room and we got down to business.

What should have lasted six weeks, Ran to a full two months. I've been in meetings after meetings. I hadn't turned my phone on because I was truly afraid of what they would tell me. When I walked out of there. Zion had profited about Fifty Billion and More connections. I turned my phone on. I had four hundred missed calls. Ranging from Irene, Sherry, Esther,Teo, Damion , Shawn, Landon,James.

I was left sitting looking at my phone. I really didn't want to call back. I got into the car and I called Shawn.

“ I just got out, what happened now?”.

“ What hasn't happened. Avery is well again and she's on a fucking roll. She tried coming into your office and making demands and ordering me around. I shut her down. She's been going around shopping, drinking, Partying there's full blown parties at her house. She's been meeting her family too”.

I sat back and listened as he told me everything. I didn't want it to come to this but it has. “ I'll give her the divorce papers in a few days “.

“ There's Something else “. He said hesitantly.

“ Teo found her in a hotel room , she's been sleeping with Zach Morrison . Your bike will be at the airport , I'll send it over “.

“ I'm on my way back, I'll be heading straight to the office”. I ended the call and sat there Numb , lost,hurt , confused, angry. Every emotion all at once. The entire flight back to Ryedale my thoughts were a jumbled mess. I didn't want to be there anymore. I'll see her and it'll keep reminding me of how she hurt me.

When we landed, I grabbed the jacket and helmet and left. On the way to the office,I passed her . She was sitting happily in a Cafe chatting away with her stepmother. I didn't stop, I kept on going. Once in the office I grabbed a vase and threw it against the wall . I couldn't think clearly she fucked me up completely.

The door opened and Shawn came in. He didn't say anything. “ This is the first time I ever allowed myself to care and this happens. I'll fucking ruin her Shawn, I'll destroy her fucking life”.

We were both startled to see The side door open. I knew no one was in the private Garage and no one knew about this door. I was left looking at her, when she walked in ,Only she wasn't dressed the way I saw her a few minutes ago,she was covered in blood and was holding a gun. She raised it and pointed it at me.

“ Did you sleep with her?”. She asked. Something was off here. I was looking at Shawn and he was looking at me.

“ DID YOU FUCKING SLEEP WITH HER JAKE?”.

What was she talking about? I looked at her carefully. She wasn't wearing her ring.

“ Avery?”.

“ WHO ELSE WOULD IT FUCKING BE JAKE. I TOLD YOU I WOULD CHOP YOUR FUCKING DICK OFF IF YOU FUCKED ANYONE ELSE. THE FUCKING BITCH PARADING IN MY HOUSE IS ALEXIS , SO DID YOU FUCK HER?”.

That's when I understood and I guess Shawn understood Also.

“ Avery What happened to you?”. Shawn asked her. She stopped for a second and I saw that change in her eyes.

“ Landon. Where's Landon?. That fucking idiot “. She started crying.

“ He took off his seatbelt and covered me. Where is he?”.

I didn't think after that, I walked over to her and held her. She dropped the gun and grabbed onto me. This was My Avery. She felt the same, sounded the same and acted the same.

“ Jesus fucking Christ ” , I heard Shawn say.

“ I've got you princess. I've got you baby girl. Landon's alive, he's okay. Why are you covered in blood? Are you hurt?”. I asked, pulling away and checking her over.

“ I.. I killed them. Tthey were going to rrrape me. Alexis came today and Ttold them she didn't need me anymore. You're going to divorce her and they Cccould ddo whatever they want. I. I. I did w.w.what Landon taught me”. She said between tears.

“ Wait, she doesn't know you're gone. Shit. I'm calling Teo. I'll keep this under wraps. Take care of her”. He said before walking out. I held her close to me.

“ I didn't touch her. I knew something was off. I couldn't stand to have her touch me. I love you so much princess. The baby?”.

“ The accident was just a diversion so they could switch us. She never left to study. She went to get surgery to become me. She said she'd ruin my reputation and dignity,you won't want me after she's done. Renee, Aunt Janice and Resa are in on it.”.

“ Okay. Come on let me give you a shower and get you something to eat. Then we'll go to the doctor to make sure there isn't anything seriously wrong and then we'll deal with them”.

She kept looking at me. “What Is It baby?”.
“ You really didn't touch her?”. I pulled her into me and held her ,she smelled like she always did. “ No. When I got to the hospital something was different even Shawn knew that. She lied saying she forgot everyone , even then , I couldn't touch her. I felt nauseous just being close to her. I've been away for two months. I just came back and was about to divorce you, well her “.
