Chapter 34

JASON'S POV
"Her vitals are stable, I just hope she wakes up soon" the pack doctor said to me before leaving the room.

Ever since Sapphire released a blast of flames that shattered all the glass doors, knocked out the electricity and sent me flying across the room she has been unconscious.

Her mom too was unconscious since she used all her energy to safe her daughters life, but it was certain that she would be back to life soon. I just hope she does before Sapphire wakes up.

Everyone was worried and I was too, after that incident she didn't release any energy blast, her body was the normal temperature now.

I was still restless but my wolf tried to assure me that she would be fine but for the past five days she hasn’t moved. The more I looked at her lifeless body on the bed the more I felt sad and useless, I wish I could help her. If only I came to the pack sooner all this wouldn't have happened. My mate would still be here and we might be going on a second date.


"Pathetic" my wolf Spike said and I rolled my eyes at him.
“She will be fine, mate is strong” Spike continued. Spike wasn’t lying. My mate is strong and the strongest woman I've ever seen but I was still scared of losing my mate. If I lose her that's all, I'll be lonely for the rest of my life.

After sitting beside Sapphire for the past six hours I left the room after giving her a light peck of her forehead. Hope she wakes up soon, I need her and we all do. I tried to imagine my life without her but that made me more sad.

Lost in my thought I walked down the stairs. I was becoming familiar to but stopped when I heard my name.

"Alpha Jason" Sapphire dad called and I turned to face him.

"Alpha Black… … " I started but he cut me off

" The last time we met you demanded to have my daughter, I refused. You had my pack after my daughter left and now you have my daughter and my pack is yours"

I could sense the anger from Alpha Black, I understood why he was angry but truly I never expected Sapphire to be my mate. I didn't ignore his choice, he didn't want me to have his daughter and I never went for her. I didn't even know Sapphire is his daughter.

"Look Alpha Black, I was shocked when I figured my mate is your daughter, when I wanted your daughter you refused, she left the pack and I never went looking for her. "

" Then how did my daughter end up with you? " Alpha spoke up before I could continue

" She appeared at my pack borders returning a pup that was taken by a vampire and I never expected her to be your daughter, she's my mate and I would do no harm to her "

"If you say so Alpha Jason, I'll try to believe your words."

"And also I trust and respect you, Alpha Jason. Take care of my pumpkin, she's been through a lot" Alpha Black continued before I could speak. He walked away not giving me a chance to speak.

Immediately he turned to leave, someone called us both making Alpha Black turn back again but this time facing the direction of the person that called us.

" Alpha Black, Alpha Jason " One of the pack maids called as she bowed.

" Alpha Sapphire is awake now"
Before she could continue we both ran to the room I left Sapphire in.

In less than a minute I was up in the room locking my eyes with the green eyes that I was beginning to fall in love with.


SAPPHIRE'S POV
I opened my eyes and immediately they were blinded by the light, I shut them again before opening them gradually.

I looked around the room and I was alone and at the pack hospital bed. How did I get here? I remember I was killing the rogues that attacked my pack. Wait, hope my parents and everyone are okay? I tried reaching out to my wolf, Enya as I tried to get up but she wasn't responding.

As my legs met the floor, the park doctor came to the room.

"Stay still Alpha" she shouted as she ran in my direction, ready to help me.

" Thank the Goddess you're awake, we were all becoming scared. " She said as she checked my temperature and vitals.

"Call the Alpha's and the Luna, tell them that she's awake now " she said to the nurse that was standing beside her, as she collected a tray from her hand she left the room immediately.

"What happened to me, hope everyone is okay and how did I get here? " I asked as she finished checking my eyes.

" Well Alpha everyone is okay, thanks to you. Also you're okay too, your vitals are fine. I believe you were attacked by a rogue as you were fighting but your wounds are fully healed now "

Before I could ask another question my dad ran into the room and held me .

" Are you okay pumpkin?" He asked as he hugged me .

" I'm fine dad" I replied his question before I continued talking again "hope everyone is okay? I rushed back as soon as I got the information fro… " I stopped as I sensed another Alpha in the room, not just any alpha but my mate.

How did he he get here. I looked up immediately and my eyes locked with Alpha Jason's eyes , immediately I could sense my wolf Enya, the sweet smell of our mate made her smile as she wagged her tali. Everything the moon goddess said came rushing to my head, the pain and terror I went through and my true identity.

"I feel dizzy " was the last few words I could utter before my eyes closed and I fell to the bed.
