Oh my god, wolves! what am I going to do? they are snarling and growling coming close. I grab a stick pointing at them, I feel so ridiculous threatening these huge creatures with a stick.
I'm on my ass trying to move away slowly as they take steps towards me, I'm dead!
" Get back!" I shout still moving away, but they laugh loudly
" How cute human, why would your alpha let you wander in the outlands?" I look at the man who spoke, he is dirty and ugly, with disgusting nose rings, one on his brow, my heart is beating out of my chest
"Alpha Nikolas?" my heart skips a bit at the mention of him, how do they know I know him? soon three appear from the dark in their wolf form, oh boy, how will they even share little me!
"Just let me go," I cry in a tiny voice
" No, that alpha needs to pay, I have been watching him lately, and we see you around his property that's how we followed you,"
" Why does he need to pay?" I ask even in a death situation my curiosity gets the better of me.
"It's not us, Serius wants that alpha dead," the other one shrug " and once we tell him what we did to his woman, he will pay us," I laugh dryly but am so scared, my whole body is shaking looking at these men
" I am not his woman, look I hate the guy, trust me, if your boss wants some sort of payback, letting me go will be the best thing," I try to reason in a shaky voice, they look at each other, debating silently
" She's lying, I've been seeing her with the Alpha," the third one speaks " the day they chased us, he even killed Chino," he growls, oh that must be the animals they chased in the woods at night
" Wait Nikolas also turn you? why aren't you in his town?" they look at me confused, why would Nikolas kill his creation
" Enough talking, just kill her," the ugly man who spoke first orders
" wait, guys!" the blonde stopped the man who was approaching, he smiles and I don't like it one bit
" Maybe we can make more money, we hold her hostage and get double payment, from Serius and Alpha Nikolas, while we are at it... we can have some fun with, she's beautiful," No, I shake my head trying to move but I have nowhere to go, my back is already against the log, I'd rather die than let them rape me
" Not bad," another second but they are looking at the one who looks like the leader of the gang, waiting
"Whatever," he shrugs and a tall man comes to me, I close my eyes bracing myself but he doesn't get to me, I slowly open my eyes and a big shadow flies over me, bigger than all of them, the beautiful silver wolf! it comes to nuzzle me with its snout and I recognize its fierce green eyes.
Nikolas.
he jumps at one of them, ripping him apart, a scream escapes me as he snaps the second guy's neck, despite being so many they don't stand a chance against him, he growls and they back away, wary, their eyes terrified, and for once I smell, I hate violence but they were going to rape me!
I look at the bodies horribly mangled or harshly torn apart.
I swallow but then remembered what happened something, that's my baby's father, What kind of magic Is this?
He comes to me snarling unhappily I think, I raise my hand slowly to touch its fur, somehow telling him it’s fine, it’s looking down at my forehead, and I touch it to find it's sticky. Blood.
It turns to the wolves who back away some more, it's emitting low growls, and Nikolas' wolf is dominating. It growls at the group of wolves and they whimper,
" This. this.. is.. not your territory alpha, we are in the outlands," the leader stammers
I lie there on the ground tired of everything that happened today, behind us I see a black wolf, it's not as big as Nik's but big too, looking at me intensely like assessing before going to look at Nik, besides it is another wolf, it has beautiful grey and a bit of silver fur in some parts
A foreign wolf jumps at us but the black one swiftly gets in and tears it apart gruesomely, gosh I wish I didn't see that, Nik's fur shining through the moonlight I just want to touch it
Not now.
I take another look at the foreign human wolves, whimpering even though they are many, the wolves by my side are stronger and fierce, I can tell.
Nik changes back to a human quickly and so does the black wolf who tore the brown wolf, that's his little brother Jeremy.
"You hurt her,” growls Nikolas
"She's just human," one of them snarls looking at me in disgust but before I can comprehend what's happening, Jeremy jumps on him, and snaps his neck with incredible speed then comes back to his brother's side.
"What was that mutt?" he asks the dead man
"Get out," Nik growls but the brother gives him a confused look.
"What the fuck Nik?" his brother asks who is watching the wolves run off before smirk forms on his face.
"Thought you enjoyed hunting your prey," he says looking at his younger brother who grins with a nod, before taking off, going after the wolves. Is he going to kill them? Just for sport? How evil can they be?
"Oh don't give me those judgy eyes sweetheart, they would have done worse to you," he says crouching down, and carrying me bridal style, I don't protest because my ankle is twisted and hurts like hell.
He carries me to the main road, I can see a car parked in a distance, and lay my head on his bare hard chest enjoying the warmth his body is releasing, when we reach the car, Nikolas puts me on the back seat as he goes in the trunk to pull out some clothes. I watch a beautiful wolf, who's looking at me with indecipherable eyes for a while, it's not as big as Nik but bigger than the foreign ones who attacked me.
It goes to where Nikolas is standing and he caresses its fur like it wants his touch, he runs a finger in its soft-looking fur and it snarls satisfied moving closer to him, I watch them interact like this before closing my eyes a little just to relax that was so close.
"Back already," I open my eyes to look at who he is talking to but his concentration is on the pretty wolf, I hear twigs and look up to see Jeremy's naked body emerge, his chest has dried blood and has a satisfied expression on his face. Isn't this boy just sixteen? How can he love this so much? The young brother also goes to the Jeep's trunk looking for some clothes... I hope. I'm so done looking at naked men today.
