Wanting to live

Everything is going crazy, Mario is pacing around the room as he cusses in Spanish
" Damn it!"
I sit up and run to the window. There are men everywhere, running out as others take out different weapons from the cars. Norris is giving out orders.
" I'll kill him, I'll fucking kill Nikolas,"  Says Mario.
" How the fuck did he find us?" He opens the drawers and gets two guns. I flinch when he points it at me.
" Back away from the window and unto the bed," he orders, I hesitate but do as he says. As I said, I don't want to die. Now that Nikolas is here, there is a chance I can leave alive.
" How many, Norris," Mario asks. As he throws a chain on the bed.
" Many, let's just evacuate. Too many wolves, boss," he answers. I smile wickedly and he sneers.
" Don't get too excited, you won't see him," and to Norris, he says.
" Get the chopper ready, but we'll kill as many as we can,"
My heart is pounding relentlessly. Mario ties me to the bed. I try to wiggle out of the chains binding me.
I see him put a key in his pocket before smiling
" Don't go anywhere, I'll be back," he says " oh you can't," he laughs loudly, yes, crazy.
" Mad man" I snort under my breath. He comes closer, kissing me deeply before walking away. When he leaves I try to pull the chain but nothing. I hear growls and gunshots outside. There are indeed here, Nikolas is here and he is here for me.
The door opens and two men walk in, I'm sure Mario must have sent them. They look out the window visibly scared. They know they will lose, they are no match for wolves, and wolves have better and to add to Mario's disadvantage it's getting dark already.
Mario too comes in, the new governor is swearing, and he has blood on his shirt. He glares at me before ordering one of the men to guard the door. 
The man scurries out of the room.
" Tai, Tai, come in, Tai," he says through his receiver, but no answer.
" He won't be answering you," I gasp, that's Nikolas' voice. I feel tears in my eyes, happy tears. I never thought I'll hear his voice again.
" Give me back my mate," he growls
" She's not yours, Tai killed yours, remember," Mario answers, his eyes focused on me then continues  " Aviana is mine or nobody's,"
" Nik!" I shout.
" Ava... Ava, love,"  he stammers. Love. I smile bitterly as my lip hurt. " I'm com... " Before he can finish, Mario throws the receiver against the wall, breaking it into small pieces. Later, a tall man with red eyes enters the room, a vampire.
" Sir, the chopper and escort are ready, but we must use the backyard to get there," the man says and Mario nods.
 Mario unlocks the shackles and my wrists are red as they were holding too tied, he points a gun to my head as we walk out of the room. When we reach the backyard, a breeze hits me, it's not delightful, it smells of death and blood. I gasp when I see a man's body crashed by a huge metal, while next to him is a man whose throat was slushed out. We walk further, and everywhere I look, there are dead bodies. My heart shrinks when I see a dead wolf, he has bullets in his fur.
The other is grunting in pain as blood gush out of his mouth.
I scream as Mario shoots a wolf that was close to us in the head.
" Bastards," he screams as he does it again and again.
" Boss, let's go," 
 The vampires are escorting us as we now leave the premises, going down into the woods, they are more than twenty and even if I could escape, I wouldn't get five feet away.
The men in front of us freeze as a dead body falls, Mario gasps as he looks at Tai's body.
Wolves surround us, among them, Jeremy's all-black wolf is growling menacingly at the vampires. I also recognize Nikolas' big silver one. It's the biggest of them all, towering over us.
Alec is not growling like the others but his eyes are pitch black.
Like they have just received a silent order, they charge at the vampires. 
Fur flies everywhere as the two species fight.
A vampire rips out a warrior's heart while two others squeeze one wolf behind, breaking its ribs, the wolf howls painfully and my heart ceases.
The numbers of vampires deplete fast as the wolves bite and tear them apart. The vampires too are strong but they are no match for the fierce wolves. I struggle as Mario drags me away, down the path,
" Let go of me, bastard," I hit him in the balls, he grunts and I run back to Nik. I freeze when I see him and our eyes lock. I start to run to him again as he comes to me but a voice stops me.
" You're mine or nobody's, " I flinch, and turn to Mario. The bastard has a gun pointed at me and before I can fathom anything Alec flies over me as I fall to the ground. I feel a pain in my stomach, and my fingers touch where the pain is coming from, he shot me. I look at my bloodied fingers. My vision is blurry and all energy is leaving me, my eyes drop slowly and I see Nikolas biting Mario.
My breath comes out in pants as it's getting hard to breath, I feel hands around me.
" Ava, love, don't close your eyes," Nikolas' voice says. I want to tell him I love him but I can't seem to open my mouth, is this what death is? Is it coming to me now? But I don't want to die. I want to live for Nikolas and Amber. I want to see my baby's face one more time. I want to be there for her, when she reaches adolescence and when she starts liking boys. I want to be there to stop Nik from Killing the boys. I want to be there, I want to live. Please, werewolf goddess.
" Love, please," Nik's desperate voice resounds in my head, everything is now distant, the voices and the growl have died down.
" Nik, Nik," I pant. " I'm ..dying aren't I?"
I want to touch him but my hands are numb and my eyes are closed shut.
"Love, please. Not you," he continues to cry in a strained and hoarse voice.
" You cannot die, no I refuse you to," he continues to cry. 
" Nik, bite her," I hear a voice, I can't make out the person. And I can't resist the dark any longer. I slip into it as his smell surrounds me.
