think my wolf chose you, I finally told her, because it's true, Alec always gets so excited whenever She is close, he doesn't sulk or snarl at any little thing I do, at first I thought this bond with the human was because of the child she's carrying, my child, but no, it's actually all her. Yes plus the child. The first time I actually felt Alec happy was at the airport in Colombia when the human was running away from those men, my wolf's joy for the strange girl was strange, I hadn't spoken in more than a year and the first word he uttered was wow, strange human. I froze when I heard his voice in my head, I thought it was a dream.
He and I drifted apart when Loren died, I refused to believe it and shutdown leaving him to bear the pain alone, I just couldn't deal, loren was my soulmate, my family.

But then this woman, a human, so pure and untainted soul, swayed herself into my life, without any warning, she came close to me, slowly started to create a place in life and heart, I ignored her, I hated that my wolf would only surface when she's close, I can feel his content with her been close, like sated with her around, that scar just above her hip bone, when Alec saw it in the airplane, he saw red. I could feel him almost taking over. He has never behaved like this before, yes he does lose his temper a lot but this was a girl we have not met, I guess he just took a liking to her, which almost never happens.
"Morning ... You," Aviana comes in the dining room, she takes a seat at her usual place, I watch her eat quietly, so unlike her, is she shy? I thought she would be ecstatic that my wolf chose her, she has made her feelings for my quite too vocal.
" How was your night," I ask breaking the silence in the room, it's just the two of us today, jeremy and Dani have gone to God knows where while kat Is probably parading around with Alexander, I sigh shaking my head. Couldn't she have being mated to a man more deserving of her, what does the moon goddess has against me for fuck sakes. 
First it was aurora now kat, all my sisters are mated to the Alaries. Damn those brothers.
But I know they treat them well, so I feel at ease.
My phone rings and my eyes roll, does does she ever learn? I told Sara to leave me alone, I end the call but she keeps calling.
"Why are you not taking your calls?" Asks quietly as she eats more of her veggies.
" It's Sarafina," she glares at me, fury written on her face, I know she hates her and I do too, but she is a witch, good at her craft and I need her for now.
" I already punished her for what she did to you," she rolls her eyes not believing, but I did, severely in fact,  she spent time in the dungeons, a woman like Sara.
" Then why is she calling you still or I forgot, you made up," I don't know when I might need her gifted hands again.

"You are grumpy, antisocial, and not friendly at all, am surprised Justin is your friend, totally opposites," she exclaims that last part
" I just like keeping my circle small, and there are a lot of things am good at other than making friends," I wink and I see her cheeks change color as her hand flies to touch them, looking away from my gaze, my wolf almost purrs like a kitten, yuck, what is wrong with him? He is a love sick puppy, be doesn't even bother denying it or refusing
' why should I? She looks beautiful ' Aviana is a very attractive woman, everything on her body suits her even the pregnancy, her long curl hair which i very much would like to touch, it looks so soft and compliments her big beautiful jade eyes, her thin lips, her hips and legs, everything looks perfect on her

' she's not ours, ' he growls menacingly at me but I ignore him, Alec is right, she is very beautiful but no, she can never be ours, I can't be with her, she's too innocent and pure. She deserves a man like her, who will love her the way she needs to be loved, Ava is too fragile. We can hurt her and I don't want to be the one to do that.
" Wh...at .. do ...you mean?" She asks stuttering but I shrug.
I smile looking at her red face, going redder each time.

I sigh leaving the buildilng, not paying attention to the woman whose chest is puffed, batting her long lashes are me and smiling my way, I really need a new secretary.
My wolf sneers at the sight of Jenn, She is always trying something or wearing clothes that are extremely tiny on her body, showing to much.
I swerve my chair to look at the glass window, I have the perfect view of silver blue moon, it's tall scrappers, beautiful streets and happy people, my home, I thrive here and a serenity surrounds me when I look at my pack, a pack I will raise my child in, a safe home for my little one, I already know what I'll name her, after my mother and Aviana's, she'll be happy.
I hate seeing her like that, I get my phone to call Don, he is an investigator and a friend somehow. He is very good at his job, he can locate anyone. He picks up at first ring

" Come to my office in ten minutes," I continue to check to work, the paper work today doesn't seem to end.
I hear a knock, and Don comes in, looking very professional in a suit, someone is working hard.
" Boss, you called," I signal for him to sit down and he does, before I can utter another word the door to my office burst open, of course, it's only jeremy who can freely work in like he owns the place, he throws the bag pack on the sofa before lying in it, I wonder what mischefs he was causing this time. The howler moon pack warriors complained about him recently, that he went in their land without permission.
" Where were you?" I ask my grumpy looking brother, he sighs.
" Can I get some food?"

" Can at least have strong drink," I shake my head as he continues to elude my question, where was he? He gets up, getting a bottle of wine on the small coffee table but one glare from me, he puts it back, raising his hands in surrender. He knows I don't like him to drink.
" Hi Don," he finally greets coming to sit next to the investigator.
" Hello, heard you're causing trouble lately," Don says looking at my brother who has a scowl on his face, now that I look at him properly, his hair is messy and has dust. He looks very tired as well.
" I said hi, I didn't ask for the story of my life," he grumbles.
He has been such a pain lately, his wolf doesn't surface, and he says he can slowly feel it fade away. I turn to Don in front of me.

" Yes sir, Tai abducted about thirty girls from different cities in spain, they were auctioning them at his brothel," I sigh shaking my head.

" We informed the CIA who shut it down, and as a present to you I personally burned his clubs in spain, and all those which are affiliated to him," I nod impressed, he knows it's me.

" he was at the auction, we almost had him but he managed to slip out of our hands sir," everytime, everytime I think we are close he manages to escape.
" I want to know about Mario," he raises his eyebrows, looking at me in a unsure expression on his place
