It's been a while since I attempted to run away, Nikolas was very furious when we came home, but explained everything to me, mostly Jeremy
I get up in a hurry to go downstairs, I told Aaron to make me more chicken shawarma.
I put my hair in a bun, but when I reach there's nothing. I frown looking around and my eyes well up, tears escape me until I finally can’t hold it any longer, I cry silently resting my head on the kitchen counter
" Miss?" calls the chef, I look up to him and
Nikolas looks come confused as I cry out loud, even the maids come, why am I so emotional?
" What's wrong?" Asks Aaron, he shrugs looking very confused, how could he?
" She just looked at the food and started crying Alpha," he exchanges a look with Justin, they look flabbergasted, and their confused look makes me want to cry more and I do, what the fuck?
I shake my head glaring at the chef
"what's wrong?" Nik asks softly coming to my side, Justin takes a seat watching as he stuffs pancakes in his mouth. I sniffle a bit having a hard time talking, so I just point at the food on the table
" He didn't make me the chicken shawarma," I cry out going to hug, Justin and Jeremy laugh out loudly making me hide in Nikolas' crook
" She asked for that a few minutes ago," the poor chef says, yes I did but that was like a minutes ago, I don't want Vegetable sharwama anymore
" Nik- that was minutes ago," I pull away from his embrace raising my tone and I see his mouth ajar, confused but nods. " Now I want it with chicken," I wipe my tears going to sit down, I pick up my fork and dig in the green salad, I almost barf, I am only having this because the doctor wants me to eat a lot of vegetables.
" Why are you looking at me shoo," I tell them pointing to where the flour is, but when they are all looking at me laughing, I feel tears well up again
" It's alright, I'll get you sharwama ok?" I look at Nikolas nodding, comes preventing me from crying Since when is he nice? I nod drinking my water.
It’s been a month weeks now since that and no escaping attempt for this girl, security is tighter and I don’t even plan on leaving
The baby bump can be seen through my clothes and I like it, but I feel so emotional these days and cry about almost anything.
I wear my jeans and some tank top, pairing them with some ankle boots, I was told to go for a check-up.
When I reach downstairs, Nikolas comes to me, he's wearing black jeans and a shirt, I rarely see him in casual outfits,
“ Let’s go,” I nod, he promised to take me to the doctor, he opens the door for me then, I sigh getting comfortable, he smiles looking at me
“ What?”
“Nothing,” I look at him again, lately he’s been good to me and less sarcastic
“ you quit on attempting to escape, you haven’t tried that in weeks,” I look away embarrassed, how does he know that? I look for something to say but I don’t find any.
“ but it’s fine, you never escape me, human, even if you did I’ll always find you,” he says cockily, I roll my eyes. Soon he pulls to Kat’s hospital, it’s quite big and very well equipped
“ is it Kat’s?” I ask but he shakes his head
“ It's the silver Blue moon pack hospital, Kat’s just in charge,” he explains opening our doctor's room
“ Doc Martin,” he starts up to greet Nik, then me
“Alpha,” he bows respectfully.
He asks questions and checks on the baby’s progress
“It's all well, soon we’ll even know the sex,” he says and we leave the office, we stop by Kat’s office to say hi but she’s not in the hospital, they told us she went to the Crest moon clan
“ So the Black Crest pack is the black moon's second clan?” I ask, this is not the first time someone says she goes there, he nods
" It's as big as my pack, and Alexander Alarie is the Alpha,"
" What business does Kat have there?"
“ I might have a rough idea, and I plan on stopping it,” he growls taking out a phone
“ Where are you?” I’m taken back by how hard his voice is
“ Why are you in Alexander's clan?” he questions, I can not hear what she’s saying, but Nik looks angry before disconnecting the phone. I put my hand on top of his and he looks at me but I quickly remove it.
“ I thought the Alaries were your Allies and now part of the family,” I say, according to Ben, the elder Alarie is the King and Aurora's fated mate. So why is he against Kat seeing the other brother?
“ For Aurora it’s different, they are mates. Kat and Alexander are not,” he says but I heard Kat once say Alexander is his mate to Jeremy, why didn’t she tell Nikolas?
“ I just don’t want her hurt, he has a lot of women, I don’t want my sister to be one of his whores,” he says holding a steering wheel tightly, I resist rolling my eyes, he also has millions of women but I just nod.
“ let’s eat ice cream please,” I say pleading, I’ve been craving it a lot, he nods and I thought he would say no, he pulls over in front of the ice cream shop and I breathe in the smell
We go to the counter,
” Can you put a lot of sprinkles in it please?” He pays as we take a booth, he looks at my bowl and I happily eat while he presses on his phone. He looks distracted, he looks up to me.
“ You have ice cream all over your face,” he says shaking his head, I blush trying to clean myself but reach his pocket instead of giving me the handkerchief he reaches over to clean my face, I look at him as he does that, slowly and carefully.
We talk about trivial things the rest of the time and when we get home I’m laughing going to get myself some water from the kitchen with Nikolas following.
“ Hi baby,” a woman runs to Nikolas, kissing him, and wrapping her legs around his torso.
“ Sarafina,” he says putting her down without a word, I get my bottled water and leave the kitchen without looking at them
When I reach my room, I scream into the pillow, everything has been going well with Nikolas, I thought he has feelings for me, I was wrong he’ll never cut off all his whores and I am a fool to believe he might like me.
We have been Connecting so well, I go to shower and get ready for bed
