Chapter 37

"Arrest him now!" Jesse orders

The policemen forcefully take a hold of me and begin to cuff me
"You are making a big mistake". I said constantly glaring and Jesse

" You are the one who hit a woman old enough to call your mother".I suddenly see Violet coming "Leo, please take her back to bed and tell her there's nothing to worry about". Leo runs towards Violet, I see them arguing, The policemen try taking me to their car but I release.

" Stop!". Alvin exclaimed coming out of the blue "You don't even have evidence that Mr Benjamin-kim hit your mother".

Jesse laughs " You are calling my mother a liar?".

"Yes, I am". Alvin hands the policemen a tablet "As you can see from the security footage, he never hit her, but, she assaulted our Lady, slapping her on the face continuously".

I smile, I am so happy I hired them, security footage, why didn't I think of that. The policemen release me, I walk close to Jesse 

"I guess you guys have another arrest to make".

Violet approaches me with a frown on her face "What the hell is going on? And don't say you're fine, I'm blind not deaf".

I chuckle as I turn to the officer "Mr Harrison's Mother didn't just hit my wife, but she hit my wife with a disability, isn't that a big deal?".

Jesse groans "She's not your wife you aren't married yet, and she never pressed charges".

I shrug "Aren't I allowed to do that for her?". Jesse grabs me by the collar

Violet uses her staff to hit his hand " Ouch!" He whines, shaking his hand in pain 

Violet stands in front of me "You better leave". I chuckle 

"Aww, my baby is defending me".Jesse glares at me, I hid behind Violet's shoulders like a little kid to piss him off.

" Violet, I had no idea I'm very-".

"Leave, I've told your mother I didn't want to see her here, the same goes for you".

" Vio-".

"Officers!". Violet exclaimed, Jesse wore a frightened look, I guess he never expected Violet to ever put him in this position.

He sighs and wears a concerned look" I will leave, I'm sorry for the troubles, as for my mother-"

"I'm not pressing charges". She said rather blunt.

"Thank you, I'll take my leave now, again I'm sorry". I stick my tongue out, he gives me a middle finger, and I laugh silently to piss him off. He and the police officers leave the premises.


I turn to Alvin "Thank you, you saved me".

" Don't mention it, sir, just doing my job".

I place my hands on my hips "I can't believe security cameras didn't come across my mind". My eyes widen "Violet on the night of your-".

She sighs "Save it, there was nothing". She walks slowly into the house. 




I enter the house later on and see her in the living room, I walk up to her

" Why aren't you in bed? You said you needed to rest, she suddenly grabs my face

"Are you okay? did they hurt you?". She asked worriedly

I smile " I'm fine, I promise, and thank you, you defended me, and it was cool of you, I'm sorry I ever doubted you".

She smiles sweetly at me "Dont mention it, I'm glad I made you think differently".

" But, why didn't you want to press charges, she hurt you, I feel like doing the same to her".

"It's not worth it, I still have a little respect for her, she was my mother-in-law anyway".




                         JESSE POV

I angrily enter my office, my mother welcomes me with a smile

" How did it go?". I throw everything on my desk away and yell 

I turn to her with a glare "How did it go? I humiliated myself mother, why did you hit Violet?".

" I-i did no such thing!".

"You were caught on fucking camera!" She screams using her purse as her shield "You better not go near Violet, don't you dare touch a hair on her hair again, or else you'll answer to me, now, get out!" She takes her things and goes.

I take in a deep breath as I pull my hair, she defended him, she fucking defended him, she was worried about him, she was duking worried about him!.

How could you do this, why would you just forget everything, it was not my doing, no, it wasn't my doing, it was the devil, the devil that controls me, it was-

Benita walks into my office "Oh my God, what the fuck happened here!".
