I try escaping quietly but it only made things worse, he held me like he was hugging a teddy bear.

I decided to give up, his hot breath was on my face, I use my fingers to slowly touch his nose, and a smile appears on my face, so I'm really married to Luther.


                       Flashback

"I'll add a little more pink and.... I'm done!" I hand Luther the painting 

"Wow! This is great, who knew my young lady was so talented". He messed up my hair 

"Hey... I don't like that". I said as I angrily fix my hair 

"I'm sorry, do you want me to show your daddy your painting?". 

I shake my head "No... It's for you". 

"For me? Wow thank you". 

"You're welcome, uhm.. Luther?". 

"Yes, young lady?". 

"Let's get married". 

He laughs "But you're still a little kid". 

I whine "No I'm not, I'm 13years old, I'm a teenager". 

"Well, 13 is still too young for me". 

I pout my lips and fold my arms "That's not fair". 

"Are you scared I'm going to leave you someday?". 

I nod "Yes, I want you to be by my side forever and ever, Stella said one day she'll have to live and father told me marriage is forever, I can't marry Stella to keep her but I can marry you ". 

He chuckles "What is it that you like about me?". 

"Your scent". 




________ I take in a deep breath, yeaa his scent is still just amazing. I close my eyes and made myself comfortable in his embrace. 







                         JESSE'S POV

I take a sip of my coffee, I look at my watch afterwards, and my legs start to shake "Where is she?". I ask Ben 

"She should be here any-". The door suddenly burst open 

"I'm so sorry I'm late". A lady dressed in a mint-coloured short dress with high heel boots said sitting directly opposite me. 

I scoff, is this a joke? "Hello, I'm Jesse Harrison". I stretch my hands for hers

She ignores it "I'm Lexi Boiler". 

I awkwardly withdraw my hands "Well then, shall we get to it?". I snap my fingers and Ben gives her an envelope she opens it and looks at the contract briefly 

"Oh there's nothing to get into because there's no way I'm signing this" she drops it on the table

I raise an eyebrow "isn't it beneficial enough?" 

"You see" she crossed her legs showing off her smooth sexy laps "The problem here is this contract benefits me but not the business, you're trying to win me over not a partnership, you just see me as some spoilt brat who's going to inherit everything from her father". 

I clear my throat and adjust my tie, it is not like it's a lie "I think you have the wrong idea, this is also a benefit to your businesses as well, I am very much educated and experienced, me handling things would-".

"Bullshit, Mr Harrison my father is still very much alive, even when he eventually passes away I would rather drink from the toilet than let you handle any of our businesses. I'm not an idiot, there's a reason my father is living me everything in the first place". 

I laugh maniacally "You are quite a drama queen, the only reason Boilers have been number 1 is because of all the drama happening in Chad's. Everybody knows the only reason why your father is leaving you everything is that your brother is in rehab, you're the only clean one left. Everyone knows how you are, shopping, getting your hair and nails done, partying, do you believe you can run a business? Talkless of Businesses, you only want the money involved. Maybe your father should've picked a thing or two from Mr Chad and make your husband run the business, that is".

She wears a smirk "I didn't take you as a sexist, yes I do like all those things, I'm a lady after all. I didn't know I was such an interesting topic but then again I see why your ex-wife is so irritated by you".

I get angry "What?".

"How are you holding up? I saw you at the wedding, when the two of them kissed, you felt like you were going to lose it"

I hit the table "Get out". 

She shrugs "I didn't plan on staying longer anyway, I am known for having a big mouth, father always told me to before I speak, my words are like swords". She stands up "I guess you wouldn't need me to sign anything for a while, let me give you some advice, you can't possibly have everything, the sooner you know this the better, you've already ruined my morning, let's do this again some time". She flashes a smile and walks away swinging her hips

Ben leans in "Do you want me to go after her, I could try to sway her sir". 

"No, just leave her, as soon as her father is no more, the board will be against her, then we'll see who comes begging". I can have everything, only if I can get my hands on that stupid thing Mr Chad hid!. 




__________ Lexi was about to leave the building when someone suddenly pulls her aside 

"What are you-" she sees the blunt-faced awkward secretary with circular glasses "Ben". 

Ben asks strictly "When are you going to ever stop being childish?". 

She rolls her eyes "Childish? When will your boss stop being a prick?". 

"This deal is a good one, do you think the boards are really on your side? Your uncle will win them over in a heartbeat because no one believes you are capable of doing anything". 

"What about you? Do you think I'm not capable?". Ben doesn't say anything "You still don't believe in me". 

"Lexi I-". 

"Let's just continue not knowing each other, I'll see you around secretary Ben". She walks away. Ben hesitates a little but he was too late, she has already left the building. 








                   LUTHER'S POV 

I slowly open my eyes, I see Violet right next to me. Violet is right next to me! 

What happened?, How?-I suddenly remember last night, the chair was so uncomfortable I unconsciously just lay on the bed. But how did she get too close to me? 

I try to escape from our cuddle when

"You're awake". Violet said catching me by surprise. 

"Ye-es I am". I reply nervously. 

"Good, I've been awake for a while now, I couldn't escape your strong grip, you must love to hold someone or something when you sleep". I instantly flushed. So I was the one who-

Amanda suddenly burst into our room

"The door was open so I just let-I love this, I love what I'm seeing right now". She brings out her phone and starts taking pictures. 

"Stop it!". I exclaimed, Violet and I awkwardly separate from each other "Why will you come in unannounced ? What if we were naked?". 

She rolls her eyes "Oh please, is not like y'all got something I haven't seen before". 

I get off the bed "What are you doing here?". 

"I'm looking for my bracket, it's very special my daughter gave it to me, I don't know if I can look in Violet's things and your room for it?". 

"Why will it be in my -" Violet jumps in 

"Please go ahead". 

"Thank you". She starts looking 

Violet has a soft side, she trusts people too easily, even after everything that had happened you'll think she'll be a bit different. I watch her smile as Amanda looks for her bracelet. 

I'm her husband now and is my job to look after her and take care of her, hopefully, I'll be able to do so.
