Chapter 10
Alexia's Office:
Alexia gently shifted the paper to Rayden who sat in front of her. A small smile played at the corner of Rayden's lips. Nope. Not a small smile but a grin that ran from ear to ear. She was so excited, Alexia had given her the chance to deliver food to the company every day and she would get paid each time.
Aside from that, Alexia had partnered with her. Anything that had to do with the company concerned her and she would get free advertisement. Rayden couldn't contain her joy after hearing the good news. She hugged Alexia quickly before signing the papers.
'Alexia, you're the best person God has ever gifted to me. Thank you so much for this kind of opportunity.
You know it is very rare to see friends that would help you like this." Rayden sniffled, she didn't know that her Business would improve like this in two days alone.
"I am capable of helping you, what would be my gain if I don't? Moreover, we might not be close friends but I still love you very much and if I can help you more than this, I would." Alexia uttered truthfully with a smile.
'I love you so much," Rayden uttered with a smile.
'Yeah, let's go and eat. I am hungry." Alexia replied then walked to her table, she picked up her keys and turned around to walk out with Rayden but someone walked in. It was Dylan, he held some files in his hands and Alexia guessed that they needed her signature.
She went to him and collected it even before he reached her table.
'Bye." She glared at him. She was so upset that he had a smile on his face. Like how can a man who did such a bad thing to her smile every time?
Dylan left before Alexia and Rayden walked out.
While eating, the thought of Dylan being her secret admirer popped into her head. No wonder he was everywhere she was and he kept sending her flowers.
Alexia wondered what he was planning this time. She wondered what he wanted that he disguised himself as her secret admirer while making it so obvious.
'Dylan, you think you are so wise right? I am going to make you regret this. I just have figured it out yet but I am going to play your game and in the process, make you the greatest fool known by man." She thought chewing her food.

It's been two weeks. Two weeks since Alexia had been alone. Two weeks since she had been receiving sweet messages and flowers from her secret admirer. However, this time - knowing who it is - she didn't reject it.
She accepted all of it, denying the growl in her belly. The growl kept telling her to stop because that feeling was still there. But we are not ready for that. She was not ready for that. She was not ready to admit it - that she was still in love with Dylan Young.
She kept the newly prepared flowers beside her bed. It was her favorite sunflowers, packed beautifully. It reminded her of their first date, he had brought her the same set of flowers but in different packaging.
He said she was just as beautiful as the flowers and she smiled just as brightly as the sun- if not more. He was so sweet to her, he had such a sweet mouth she wanted to bury her mouth in his sweet ones. After he had said the words that day, she kissed him but now, she couldn't.
She stared at the red dinner dress laid on the bed. It was a one-shoulder silk gown that had a slit from the thigh. It was a really beautiful dress. Kylie was a fashionista, she picked the best dresses and it was one of the reasons Alexia loved her. Yes, Kylie used to help Alexia pick dresses for any occasion.
Alexia sighed sadly, she still hadn't gotten over the sadness. It was still unbelievable to her; her ex-best friend would be getting married to her father and she was going to attend.
Putting on the dress, she looked at herself in the mirror. The dress was very beautiful, it accentuated her body figure and made her look like a queen.
Alexia picked out silver heels after contemplating for what seemed like hours. She draped her dark hair into a ponytail and applied very little makeup. The ceremony wasn't something to be excited about. She wasn't even going to be one of the bridesmaids like her father had requested, she was only going and wearing the dress Kylie had chosen because she respected him.
Her mother had taught her that no matter what she should never disrespect her father. She had to regard him as her father no matter what he did because without him she wouldn't be alive and have the chance to hate him. Alexia respected her mother so she respected her wishes. Aside from that, she loved her father very much. He loved her too, she knew - she thought.
She picked her car keys from the table and set out. Entering her car and settling in, her phone beeped, it was a text message. A text message from her secret admirer again. She opened it.
‘I will see you at the wedding again. I am so excited!'
Alexia almost rolled her eyes ignoring the excitement that swelled up her tummy. He wanted to see her. He was excited to see her, it made her happy but shush, she didn't want to admit that to herself.
She was excited to see him too.

Alexia arrived at the hall. She looked at all the things they did with her money but on second thought, if it did make her father happy, she was okay with it.
Alexia walked to the nearest table she found. She sat and took in every detail of the designs in the hall. It was very beautiful, neat, and soothing like a wedding atmosphere should be.
It took her to the time she got married to Henry. It was just as beautiful and she thought it was the beginning of a new chapter in her life. A less painful chapter. A chapter she felt loved. A chapter that would make her happy. A chapter that wouldn't feel lonely like now.
Alexia hoped. She believed. She imagined. She wanted. She yearned. She had always yearned for something so sweet. So real. So genuine. However, it seemed she was unlucky when it comes to love. Maybe love was never supposed to be real. Maybe loves wasn't what she imagined it to be. Maybe the definition of love she believed in wasn't the real meaning. It was only meant for the fictional characters in movies because it is not real.
However, the appearance of someone excluded her from her thoughts. She rolled her eyes when she saw him. It was Indeed him, Dylan young; her secret admirer.
He stood at the entrance looking as handsome as ever. Glowing in his turquoise Italian suit. Perfect dark hair that glowed under the warm light. Long beautiful legs that could make a girl beg to be between them. He was handsome. Too handsome. Why did he have to be too handsome? A playboy.
