Chapter 84

ALEXIA:

Waking up, I couldn't remember anything. I only saw Dylan naked beside me. I could only remember the sex with him. It was noon, how long did I sleep?
I remembered being at dad's place. Did I end up going to the meeting? I had many questions.

I resumed the bathroom and took my bath. Having done that, I walked to the bedroom. Dylan was already awake, he looked at me with sleepy eyes. I smiled at him and walked into my closet to dress up.

Dylan didn't come with me and I wondered why because he always did. When I was done dressing, I walked back to the bedroom.
'Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked as fiddled over the vanity for my face cream.

'Where were you? Where did you go to?" he asked.

I turned my head to him, I looked at his face wondering what I was gonna reply to him with. I was staring at him because I couldn't even remember what happened yesterday, all I can remember was the sex.

'I can't remember." I simply answered.

Dylan scoffed.
'Why do you mean you can't remember?" He stood and walked towards me but before he could place his hands on my shoulders like he intended to do, the door slammed open and Anna walked in looking like a ferocious tiger.

'How dare you, Alexia? How dare you?!" She shouted walking closer to me.

Dylan who was behind me turned to his sister, wondering the reason she talked to me in that manner. Knowing what I did, I knew it was the reason for her outburst.

'Mom and dad bribed Cole with money, they even threatened him with soldiers saying he should never come near me. Are you satisfied now?" She looked at me.

The bastard collected the money!
I snapped inwardly.

'So he took the money? The more reason he is not good for you." Dylan spoke saying what was on my mind.

'Ha ha, brother, Cole is short of money recently and dad threatened to take his job from him and render him jobless until eternity if he doesn't leave me alone. Cole is the one taking care of his sister after their parents did, what did you expect him to do?" She glared at her brother.

I didn't know anything about Cole so I couldn't say he was lying to her but I believed Cole was lying. He probably said that so that Anna would be mad at me.

'Anna..."

'Shut the hell up!" she snapped at me.

I shut my mouth up quickly, taken aback by her outburst.

'Dylan cheated on you with Kylie, but you still go back with him. However, Cole cheated on me with the same Kylie, and your fucking idiotic self thought of ruining our relationship. How about I ruin yours?" She glared at me.

'Don't talk to her like that, Anna. I and Cole are not the same." Dylan stepped in front of me.

'Don't tell me what to fucking do Dylan!" She shouted.

I swallowed the saliva that stopped In my throat. I didn't know Anna was going to be this angry, but when will she sense that I was only protecting her.

'Indeed, you and Cole are not the same. You, Dylan, sleep with about six girls in a day but Cole made one fucking mistake of sleeping with another woman and y'all are already judging him as though you are fucking perfect. I don't forget Alexia, I will hurt you the same way you have hurt me, I promise!" she shouted, turned around, and walked away.

The door slammed against the wall, my eyes blinked at the impact and my heart pounded faster than normal. I could only stare at the door, thinking about many things.

'Alexia..." he came to me, and pulled me closer but that didn't stop the feeling in my heart.

Am I a bad person?
Did I do something bad? Perhaps I should have given Cole another chance as I did with Dylan? The pain of losing the man you lost your virginity to was no stranger to me. I have felt it before and it was not a good one; you remember it every day and burst into tears. The pain was more than an ax in your arm because that would definitely heal with time but this wouldn't.

However, I didn't want her to feel the pain of being the second choice. Forcing herself on him and forcing him to love her back. I just felt like he didn't love her genuinely.

Sighing, I turned and sat on the stool in front of the vanity mirror. Dylan looked at me from the mirror, shaking his head and warning me to not cry.
I didn't, I held in my tears.

'You did the right thing, Alexia. She will come to know that. You protected her just like every big sister would do." Dylan assured me.

Just then, my phone beeped. I looked at it on the vanity table but didn't check it. What just happened had rendered me weak and sad.

Almost immediately, Dylan's phone also beeped and he went to get it. He checked what was on his phone, his facial expression changed which made me wonder why.

'Brendax texted me just now. He said I should check the latest news on the internet." He looked at me.

I had a neutral expression on my face and then checked my phone as well.
^Check the internet now!

Brendax had sent it to me.
Again, Another message popped in.
^Alexia, are you seeing the latest video? It's trending on the internet like crazy.

I couldn't take the suspense anymore so I switched to the internet and the first thing that popped onto my screen had been screaming inwardly.

I raised my head and looked at Dylan in the mirror, he was also watching it.
'Dylan?" I called, my whole blood boiling from the content of the video, from who was in the mirror.
I needed so much explanation.
