Chapter 95

DYLAN

Brendax wasn't wrong when he said Kylie was smart, and she had everything planned out well. Before coming to the meeting, Kylie sent five investors after her, and these are top people in the society. Their contribution to the company—with estimation—allowed the company's rank in the market to move from the second to the first.

Kylie did her internship at an elevator company, they sent recommendations and praised her in the letter. When it comes to the public, Kylie had built her fans and indeed, they voted for her. Truly, Kylie was effing smart, she was good with Business and her brain works well. It was effortless for everyone to vote for her.

Moving to me, if I didn't settle my case with Rayden, my parents would have to step down. Dad couldn't bear that, he had worked years as a partner of the company, and he wouldn't let it slip away.

Seeing that I wouldn't do it, dad and mom took Rayden in. Videos of them cooking, enjoying, and having fun with themselves had been displayed on social media.

It's been two weeks, Alexia hadn't been found. Brendax and the rest are worried sick. We have been searching everywhere but the place she hid.

Currently, I just got off the bed and went to the kitchen. I just came out when I saw Regan and Anna sitting in my living room with the little boy.

I was drinking from my water bottle when the little boy ran to me. He wrapped his tiny hands around my leg and I shifted unconsciously. He looked at me, his blue eyes swarmed in tears and his lips formed into sad ones.

'Mom, dad doesn't like me!" He cried out.

Anna and Regan rushed to him quickly, Anna carried the child away from me and glared at me.
'Perhaps, I should leave. It's so obvious he doesn't want us."

'You can't leave, mom and dad are fixing your wedding. Dylan is getting married to you whether he likes it or now. He has to take responsibility for his actions!" Anna rolled her eyes and walked out with Regan.

It was the same thing dad said, I caused this, and I have to take responsibility for it.
I would take responsibility.

ALEXIA

Staring at the street through the large window in my room, the morning rain hit my balcony, making me feel a little at ease. When rain falls like this, I feel like my mom is with me.

My mom had always been a rain and water person. Anytime she sees the rain, she was always happy and anything she sees the ocean, pool or river, she was always excited.

Just then, my phone beeped. As much as I wanted to avoid checking it, I always did. I always want to know what the public was saying about me, even though I know it was the same awful thing.

However, this time it was a video that was sent to me, by Anna. I opened it quickly and what I watched brought great tears to my eyes. Dylan's parents no longer wanted me. They even said they would never accept me.

^ Just go and die, you are not needed anymore. Didn't I tell you, Alexia, I will pay you in ten folds what you did to Cole and me? Presently, you can't justify yourself because you are just like Cole!

Tears gathered in my eyes and flowed down my cheeks. My hands began to shake in trepidation, my lips parted, and a rushed breath came out of it. My heart pounded faster and faster against my chest, the pain that engulfed it felt like it was being pinched by ten thousand needles.

I threw my phone to the bed. I stood and walked around in my room, rubbing my sweaty palm with each other. Everything suddenly felt so hot and small, like I couldn't breathe anymore. I wanted it all to end, the pain that, I felt, was more than I could imagine.

I knew I had to go, I wanted to go. Not only that, but I wanted to run away from them, from all of them. Opening the back door that led to a private elevator, I went out of my house without taking anything.

Walking on the street, a black Lexus car stopped by my side. I wanted to run away, thinking Brendax or Rayden or Dylan or Clarissa or Alexander would come out. However, none of them did, it was Kylie who came out of the car.

Kylie walked to me. She looked so pretty, so tall and beautiful, while I looked small, thin, and petite like a rat.

A sinister smile plastered on her face, she looked at me from my head to my toe. She looked like an Alpha, while I was an Omega. She seemed like a Queen, while I was the slave.

'Didn't I tell you, I was going to make you cry, ruin you until you are nothing." she spat at me, and I was shocked that I didn't say a word.

I felt broken, like a puppet.
'Yes, your dad sedated your drink while I added Viagra. In short, your dad knew about it, he supported, and he wanted it. Alexia, you are no match for me, especially with your weak nature." She poked me in the chest and laughed hysterically before turning around and walking back into the car.

I have nothing anymore… Nothing!!
I uttered to myself, shaking uncontrollably while tears ran down my eyes. My low self-esteem stepped in, covered me, and filled me up.

I wasn't able to walk anymore,, so I fell to the floor, darkness covered my eyes. I didn't know where I was, but everywhere was dark and cloudy to me. Furthermore, I felt my head falling back, but it was quickly held by someone and damn, those hands felt so safe.

'Sofia, are you telling the truth?" were the last words I heard before I passed out completely.
