Chapter 55
Dylan turned around to see Kylie staring back at him, her hands were wrapped around his waist. Irritated, he pushed her off.
'Go away, Kylie." he piqued.
Kylie smiled.
'Why? There was one time you wanted me so bad and now that I want you, you are pushing me away?" she raised an eyebrow.
Dylan rolled his eyes.
'Yes, I wanted the sex and you were stupid enough to spread your legs. Your pussy is so disgusting, my dick softened just by the sight, get lost!" he retorted.
Kylie felt so insulted, she wanted to say another word but Dylan was quick to walk away not waiting for the words of her mouth.
Looking at him, Kylie was so bitter. It was not like she wanted him anyways, she just doesn't want Alexia to be happy.
Few Days:
Alexia, Clarissa, Rayden and Alexander sat in the garden around lots of food. It was a Saturday and Alexia had suggested spending time with her friends. Alexander agreed to come, he added that he wants to meet her friends.
Rayden slept on Clarissa's lap, Alexia slept on Rayden's slap while Alexander busied himself with some books. He seemed to be very interested in literature.
'Tell me you didn't sleep with him?" Clarissa shouted at Rayden who was telling them about her love life.
'Twice, he is so good!" Rayden screamed.
Alexia laughed and pinched her thigh.
'And you Clarissa, when is your dream guy coming in?" Alexander didn't want to be left out so he questioned Clarissa quickly.
Clarissa smiled softly.
'I don't think I am destined to have a prince charming. I just want to focus on my work and have millions of money like Alexia. That way, the president's son might want to date me too." she teased making Alexander laugh as well.
'What do you do, Clarissa?"
'I paint. It's been my dream since I was young." Her eyes glinted as she talked, anytime she talks about her dream, her eyes glint.
'Wow, now I'm interested. I love anything art, literature, beauty... You know.." He smiled and moved closer.
'Same here." Clarissa smile back.
'Can I come over... To check your arts out?
Clarissa nodded her head excitedly.
'And bring your friends." she winked and he smiled.
Alexia sat up, she stretched her hand and took one of the bags of chips. Rayden and Clarissa busied themselves with something else while Alexander was left to talk to Alexia.
'Alexia, I have to ask you some questions," he said.
Alexia turned and looked at him.
'What's up?"
'What do you feel about me? I have to know what you think of me, I really like you and I hope to marry you." Alexander started.
Marriage?
Alexia hasn't thought about it yet. The last thing on her mind is marriage and hearing Alexander say it sounded so strange. She felt like he was rushing things. Why marriage?
'Alexander, I just got a divorce, marriage is the last thing on my mind." She uttered truthfully.
'What about Dylan, you don't think about marriage with him?" asked Alex.
Alexia paused when he talked about Dylan.
'How did you know Dylan?" she asked a little annoyed.
'Your social media, I saw your posts about him. You never deleted it. It seemed like a really precious memory." Alexander noticed the gleam in her eyes as he mentioned it. He was right.
'Cause I don't have time to start deleting them. I don't care." she lied.
'Please stop talking about my past life and stop getting to know me through my social media, I'm right here, ask me any question and I'll reply." Alexia voice changed to a colder tone.
Alexander noticed this and apologised quickly. Perhaps, he had misjudged her and she was telling the truth.
Clarissa and Rayden noticed that the atmosphere between them had gotten so tensed so they decided to ease it by suggesting a game.
'This game is called ‘Never Have I'" Clarissa uttered."
'Never have I kissed my best friend." Rayden started.
'I have." Clarissa shouted.
'Who?" Alexia shouted almost throwing her hands at her.
'You, I kissed you one time you were sleeping. Gosh, you looked so cute." Clarissa laughed amidst talking. Alexia laughed as well, tucking her hair behind her ear, she didn't know the time.
'I haven't." Alexander answered.
'I haven't." Rayden answered as well.
The game went on until each person eased up and the fun began. They ate, laughed and played together.
Few minutes into another game, Alexia's phone ring, she looked at the caller, it was Dylan. Alexia wanted to ignore but it could be for work so she picked up the phone.
Alexander took Alexia home after she gave her car to Clarissa and Rayden since they didn't come in their car. Alexander kept staring at Alexia but she looked out the window, thinking about somethings he didn't know.
'Are you okay?" He asked peering at her.
Alexia nodded her head. Her thought taken back to her social media and the reason she didn't delete those pictures and videos. Well, it's cause those were the times she was truly happy, happy and felt safe.
Deleting that memories would break her more than she ever thought she was broken. Perhaps, she wasn't mentally ready to forget about Dylan.
Soon, the car stopped in front of her house. Alexia looked at the light that spread out in her mansion, she looked at Alexander, thanked him before going into her house.
Alexander watched her until she was out of sight. With this, he drove out of her compound. Suddenly, someone jumped in front of his car, he quickly pressed the brake of his car which brought the car to an abrupt stop.
'What the hell?!" he stepped out of his car regretting that he had told his body guards to stay back. He didn't want to scare Alexia and her friends. His father must never know what he had done.
'I just want to talk." The man in a hoodie, removed the cap that covered his face.
Alexander recognised him quickly.
'Dylan Young?" he raised an eyebrow.
